Recently I was gathering my tax documents ready for my CPA but could not locate my 1099-INT from CPB. I was able to obtain a digital copy via their chat message on their mobile app but noticed the document's font was on the small side. I forwarded the digital copy to my CPA and was concerned about possibly misreading the 1099-INT so I decided to stop by CPB's Kaneohe branch. Located on the far end corner of Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center that's near Donut King and across the street from Leonard's Malasada Mobile at the corner of Windward Mall, this branch is one of CPB's 27 locations statewide. They are conveniently located in Kaneohe with ample parking and also operates 6 days a week. Plus, they are near my part time job. I walked up to the teller on a State holiday afternoon with no line and requested for a duplicate 1099-INT but it was tricky as I had changed account registration after opening my account in September 2025. The teller had to reach out to another employee for assistance. It was perhaps a matter of less than 10mins for the teller to obtain a more visible 1099-INT. I then hand delivered this to my CPA's office a few days later as the receptionist at the CPA's appreciated a more legible copy. Mission accomplished. I'm very pleased with the service so far extended to me at CPB, especially the willingness to resolve my issue and attend to my banking needs. 2026 #45

How is that shared branching? I needed to just cash a payroll check or deposit it into my credit union, only to be told that I can't because I'm not a member here, but they do participate in Shared Branching with other credit unions. As I realized the ATM wasn't working, it was too late to go inside as they locked the doors. Why would you service the ATM when the branch is closed? There were 4 people who needed to use the ATM in the 15 minutes that I waited. Doesn't make any sense to disable the ATM from being used when that's the only way to do transactions when the bank is closed.

And that big difference is the huge downsize. The previous location was big and spacious with many tellers available. Sure it feels like the 70s when you go inside, but that gave it charm! The current location is immensely smaller with only 2-3 tellers available, so it does get busy with a line out the door, especially during times like now. I've been here a few times, and similar to the most recent visit, there were still only a few tellers with a line out the door. The service was slow going, but I noticed there a LOT of processing and certain steps going on that seems inefficient. Compared to my experiences at other banks, anyway. Overall, this is a very nice and clean bank, which feels like a small office than a bank. The tellers are friendly and courteous, and all work extra carefully. There's ample parking around and very conveniently located in the shopping center.

It's such a deal…read more Currently, the group movie ticket price is $8.50 a ticket and if you go and see movies that are over 2 weeks in the theater you can use the tickets day time and night time. Even with all these reclining leather seat renovations, not including ward luxe theaters though there is probably an upgrade fee for this one! So if you're not one that has to see the movie right away you can save a ton by getting these tickets! Not sure for the regal tickets but the consolidated ones have no upcharge on top of the group movie ticket pass for the 2D theaters. Matinee prices are $14 ($5.50 saving per ticket) at consolidated theaters! Night prices are $16.75 ($8.25 savings per ticket) per adult. Thanks PHFCU for the savings!!!
