The food is good, but the delivery process has been a huge headache. After I cancelled my membership, Territory reached out to coordinate the pickup of my bag. They charge a fee if it isn't returned, and I'd feel terrible wasting such a bulky, substantial bag. Unfortunately, after multiple confirmation of all the details, they failed to pick the bag up three times. Exchanging emails back and forth for weeks has been a huge waste of my time. On one notable occasion, I even rushed home to get my bag outside my door in time only for it still be there the next day. I did everything I could, but I give up. I definitely wouldn't recommend a service that doesn't have its delivery issues sorted out. read more

My husband and I loved this service at first as we are super busy and struggled with time to cook healthy lunches. After a few months we became tired of the same flavor profiles and lack of variety with seafood. I think some of the diets they include are a little loosely defined such as there is a Mediterranean diet that rarely has seafood and the expectant mother section includes prepared salads with egg yolk (assume is raw and not OK during pregnancy). I also started having issues with quality after awhile and found plastic in my food, missing salad dressing, incorrect meal components, etc. Once the Territory branded and provided refrigerator at my gym went out and all my meals were thrown out. I'm glad they have that quality control, but still I was out 3 days worth of meals and had to make alternate arrangements. Given these issues, their customer service has always been prompt and would give refunds when I request, but the issues were becoming too frequent. My only complaint about the quality of the food is the chicken. Something about the way it is prepared is just weird and the texture is abnormal. There were many chicken meals I simply could not eat bc the texture of the chicken was just gross. The pork dishes were often very oily as well. So between the repetitive flavor profiles, lack of variety and quality issues and we have decided to discontinue to service. read more

I am on a Whole30 challenge and this has been a game changer for me. The first week I was miserable, not wanting what I was supposed to eat and uncomfortably hungry all the time. The second (and third) week with Territory has made all the difference in the world. I am shocked that something delicious can be Whole30 compliant. I could not get enough of the cuban pork with mashed yucca and the tagine chicken salad. A salad?! Right?! The pistacho crusted tuna cakes and the southwest shepard's pie were not bad at all either. They even got me to eat eggplant lasagna and summer squash, items I tend to flee from. Their sauces are pretty yummy as well. Some meals do not require heating which is great for a quick office lunch. I have not had a bad meal here, the size (standard) gives me what I need and I appreciate the instructions that come with the meal. They come in well labeled recyclable containers which I pick up from my local workout studio. Next week I'll be at 5 lunches and dinners per week (vs the current 3 lunches and dinners per week). It averages out to $12/meal. The reminders, confirmations and ability to pause a weekly meal plan is a bonus as well. Thank you, Territory! read more

One of the early subscribers to Power Supply, predecessor, I've been a faithful client. Now I must forewarn anyone contemplating this service that apparently Territory has turned into a non-human (anti-human?) malfunctioning website. I went away for two weeks and meant to pause my service. I ran into difficulties and ended up inadvertently stating "cancel" rather than "pause", but saying that in two weeks I would resume service. My account has been booted out. For the past two weeks I've been trying to be reinstated only to be contacted by emails that misinterpret the difficulties I'm encountering. Thursday evening (their deadline) comes, and for the third week back I'll have no meals. A five-minute phone call should have immediately solved the problem, saving all of us the whell-spinning time, letting me be nourished, and letting them be paid for the service. It's becoming more hopeless by the minute. Losing weight has been on my to do list, but not starving to death! read more

Began a few months ago after reading about how Territory started with nutrition students who knew folks needed healthy prepared food. Food is very good. Some is spicy but that is noted in the description. If you give feedback about which meals you prefer, Territory will try to send you those meals. Love the concept, I get to eat right on a busy schedule. Like the food a lot as I was just getting my taste of various dishes but it goes down hill from there...ever contacted a company with a concern and they respond with advice and other "fluffy" information that does not pertain to your inquiry? Ever felt brushed aside by everyone you communicated with without resolution? That's what I got from My Power Supply. You see, they do this tricky thing by making your order recurring (as a default) even when you set it to one-time order. So you end up getting meal deliveries when you neither wanted them or were unavailable to receive them. And what you get from them?...too bad so sad!! My advice, before you start an account is request that they set your account to ONE-TIME and just go in when you want meals so you don't end up like I did. I can't believe how awful the food is at Power Supply. I was using Healthy Bites and they "joined forces" with Power Supply. The last week of meals I had with Healthy Bites was wonderful. I was thinking Power Supply would be the same. NOT. The food is dull and tasteless. They send sauces but they don't give you enough to make a difference with the dried out food. Here is the description of one meal: Grilled beef & chicken skewers served w/ marinated grilled vegetables & kalamata olives. Cool, right. Nope. The meat was so tough I couldn't begin to chew through it. Just awful. The dogs liked it though. Here's another description: Roasted turkey rubbed in lemon juice, sage & thyme served w/ a coconut creamed spinach & sage roasted acorn squash. A chocolate almond cookie is included for dessert. Sounds great, right? The turkey was very dry. Just awful. It looked like good quality turkey but it had been very over cooked. So I thought I'd put some of the creamed spinach over it. The cream spinach was nearly tasteless. Didn't help at all. The cookie was good. Power Supply advertises that they use local chefs.Maybe they are good chefs, but they don't know how to cook in mass. Healthy Bites had it down pat. Maybe Power Supply should ask them. I think Power Supply is a rip off. I won't be buying again. I can't image that the people who love the service used the same company I did. And the company has contacted me saying that some people like one chef or style better than another. I think they missed the point. If you can't chew through your meat, it's not a good meal! read more

So I was injured in January which left me unable to cook for myself, or workout. There were other local options for meal prep that were a little bit cheaper, but it's your standard chicken, brown rice & broccoli bowls. That gets old, and I consider myself somewhat of a foodie -- who likes to eat clean. I was SO glad to discover Territory! It's expensive; don't get me wrong. The smallest size (Boost) is the cheapest at $10 a dish, but if you supplement the meal with a salad at home or some snacks in your lunch, it's plenty. That worked out better for me than paying an extra $20-50 a week. The food is always fantastic, I had lunches & dinners for 7 weeks and I think there was only 2 or 3 meals I wasn't a huge fan of. The customer service is fantastic too, as I had to pause for a week while out of town and it was quickly taken care of. Extra points for fresh never frozen and the SAUCES. I took some notes for a handful of the recipes for inspiration in my own kitchen now that I'm all healed up. It's too spendy for me personally to use as a permanent service, but it's a great option if you're in a bind or know you'll be busy. read more

Last year I worked with a licensed nutritionist/dietician to focus on a healthier eating plan, which led me to the Paleo lifestyle. I know lots of people think eating Paleo is a fad, and truthfully I'm a modified, rather than hardcore, Paleo eater, but I definitely feel better and look better since I've eliminated most of the gluten, grains, dairy, and soy in my diet. A coworker who's vegetarian referred me to Power Supply and I just got my first week's delivery: 3 Paleo dinners (standard size). I'm very satisfied with the whole package: The online account is user-friendly, the weekly menu options are interesting with enough variety to switch up your meal choices, the prices are reasonable, the delivery & pick-up could not be easier or better organized, and the meals themselves are extremely fresh & tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed Chef Anna's Sage Roasted Pork with Cinnamon Apples & Green Beans for my first Power Supply dinner...It was deeeeeeee-lish! If you're a busy person who doesn't particularly enjoy cooking or preparing meals, and you're trying to focus on healthier, more mindful eating, Power Supply is a fantastic option and I highly recommend this company. read more

I think this is a great service and very well priced. Unfortunately, many of the recipes tend to be spicy, mid-eastern inspired, etc. If you're looking for traditional meals, you're going to have a hard time finding something you like here. I really like the way they let you choose your meals from different menu options, but I wish they would always have 1 traditional meal in the list of substitutions in case your pallet isn't as advanced as some people. Again, love the service, but the meals just weren't for me. read more

UPDATE: Can Power Supply get any better!? I think so...I just found out that the Power Supply meals are in MyFitnessPal. That's right...instead of having to "Quick Add" the calories, the nutrition information is already in there. Yay! I cannot speak highly enough of Power Supply. I'm just finishing my first week using Territory Foods, and let me tell you, this is the best thing since sliced bread if you're on the Whole 30 diet...I was worried about this diet but with territory foods you can pick Whole 30 as your filter and voila! lots of compliant meals to pick from. Super awesome...they did have one meal offered that wasn't compliant but when I let them know they gave me a credit & removed it from the menu...that's what I call good customer service. I'm not too keen on the delivery hours because I live in an apartment building so I have to actually open the door when delivered, not the safest thing between 10 PM & 7 AM when you don't know the person at the door. I don't live close enough to a pick up location so that's my only complaint; otherwise I love this service & will continue to use it! Oh and the food is delicious! I have used Territory for a full year. This service has helped me stick to a healthy diet (with food I trust isn't overly processed etc.) and lose weight. Other diet/available meal delivery services do not provide the same benefits as Territory. Territory is made fresh (don't have to cook at all, just need a microwave) with unprocessed food (not frozen overly processed food like South Beach Diet, Jenny Craig etc.). The portion sizes are perfect for a women/someone smaller on a diet. I see so many options out there that are 600+ calories per meal, and I wanted something less than that for my lunches to stick to my diet meal plan. Territory offers lower calorie meals that still have pretty high protein content (great for women or smaller individuals who can't eat a ton of calories every meal and don't want the temptation to overeat)... A few dislikes: 1) There aren't really discounts or rewards for loyal customers and it can be pretty expensive. I know this is why many people I know personally don't stay with Territory; 2) Mostly everything has to be microwaved unless you don't mind chickens/tuna salad (which I personally absolutely hate), occasionally they have a quinoa option that can be served cold but I don't notice that very often; 3) not every meal I have ordered has been great, but overall, I would say 80-90% are good, not all wonderful, but all to some degree enjoyable and not overly plain (but honestly, MUCH better than frozen meals or some other meal kits I've tried); 4) customer service has not always been helpful or agreeable which is frustrating considering how loyal of a customer I've been... Overall, I'd definitely recommend Territory if you don't want to cook, want to consume less calories per meal to lose weight etc., and also because the food tastes pretty good too! read more

A good majority of the food is delicious, although there's a lean toward somewhat of a vinegary set of recipes. A lot of it recycled food though; after a while you tend to get the same type of meals. Reviews of the foods are great. read more

I just now am trying out Territory, which I plan to use for all meals during the first 2-4 weeks after having my first baby. The food is nutritious, extremely filling, and real, and the purchasing experience is great. I tried to order Territory Foods for delivery, but did not receive my delivery order. After twice contacting the company, I got a reply that the driver claimed he had delivered my food to me, even though the instructions I gave were to leave the food at the front desk of my building. After not receiving a response to that email, I tried to cancel my account only to discover that the link on the website to cancel your account does not work. So I am now left in limbo not able to cancel my account, without food, and without an explanation for why my food was not delivered and why I have not received a credit for the undelivered food. read more

The food is ok, but the service is terrible. I cancelled my subscription and was promptly given a confirmation of cancellation. I responded to that cancellation asking what I should do with the delivery bags we still had from our last order and was notified that we could just keep them. I assumed everything was good and our subscription was cancelled so I went ahead and did grocery shopping and planned for meals the following week since we wouldn't have territory. I was very surprised when a delivery still showed up the following Monday AND a full charge on our credit card. I contacted Territory and was told I was out of luck and must have missed the cancellation deadline. I went back through all of my emails and there was never a mention of a cancellation deadline. I am now stuck wasting a ton of time going back and forth trying to get this resolved. VERY FRUSTRATING CUSTOMER SERVICE PROCESS. read more

I never write reviews. But I always look at them, not an even trade i guess :) But I had to leave a review for this company. I've always struggled with planning healthy meals that were also delicious. I searched for a long time to find a meal service that would take stress off of my daily routine, that was healthy and that also tasted good. A lot of meal programs send you the ingredients and you need to assemble. I think that is an excellent plan for someone that likes to cook, that person is not me. I also found several other meal delivery or pick up programs but were closer to the $15 price range. When I found territory foods I was excited that the food was fresh and the price was right. But I have been blown away with the meals. 9 out of every 10 meals I have are drool worthy. Just as delicious as something you would get at a restaurant, but healthy as well. I'm sure the flavor, customer service, and convenience depends on what area of the country you are in. I am in Dallas, TX. Thank you Territory for the wonderful service you provide! read more
