I like that it's quarters because you could bring your own stash or if you don't use all of it, you can save the quarters for next time or use it in the real world. There's a variety of games from fighting to Mario kart to a ton of music beat games. We liked the drum and this one near the bathrooms. Lots of fun games (I just don't know the names). They're very loud and colorful. If you're new, they have tutorials which is nice (also makes gameplay a little longer). Most games are like $1 for 4-5 rounds - except for Mario kart which was kind of a scam. Overall, it's a lot of fun for dates or hangouts or to play something different than pinball machines. I did see a lot of toddlers and it's not a place for toddlers. Most toddlers would ask their parents to play a game but they would get bored or confused and leave after the parent inserted the coins to play said game. Take them to Chuck E. Cheese instead or like Malibu jacks nearby.

The games are well priced. It feels like you actually get to play games and enjoy for the amount you pay. There are so many machines and I gotta say, this place is a lot cleaner than other arcade bars with sticky floors. My favorite part of this establishment is the speciality drinks named after characters (Kirby, etc.). It makes it so fun! I also feel like the drinks are reasonably priced. I thought the servers were nice, but getting drinks took a while.

I did not approach the staff about this oddity because I didn't want to deal with it or have them waste it. This was especially odd because I ordered Tempeh for my sandwich. I would think either front or kitchen staff would have warned someone getting a vegetarian meal that the potato salad features meat. I have eaten plenty of meat and potato salad in my life. I ate this too. It was off putting. Sadly, it would have been a superior potato salad if not for the odd bits of white meat. The tempeh sandwich was very good.

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Everything one loves about a Meow Wolf experience…read more I was excited to check out another Meow Wolf after my first experience with the one in Vegas. While the utter surprise factor wasn't there that I got with my first time, some familiarity with the concept might have actually made me more attentive to what was going on. All the Meow Wolfs are different, and the idea behind Denver's is that you're at some kind of an intergalactic space station and you're visiting another planet. You start off in a "downtown" sort of area, with shops and restaurants that feel familiar at first glance, but then you start to notice the strange writing and other things that are slightly off. From there, as your explorations take you deeper into the complex, things start to get really weird and fantastical. I won't talk any more about the details; the fun is in your own discovery. The most amazing thing to me about Meow Wolfs is all the handcrafted artistry that goes into the exhibitions. It started out as a scrappy, DIY-esque art project, and I was glad to see that some of that original spirit still shone through. It's a diverting way to while away 3-4 hours. They also do have a cafe (which I didn't try) and a large gift store with all kinds of fun items.

Every direction you look is something new to see! The whole place took my friends and I about 2 hours to explore. Tickets were about $50/person and parking was $15 in the lot across the street. They have a small cafe and gift shop where you can purchase drinks. Inside the immersive museum there is also a spot where you can try out themed drinks as well! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in guiding us upon entry and when we purchased our tickets.

They have lots of drink options too and come around to take your order. I got the non-alcoholic Aperol spritz which was a little strange but that's ok haha.
