Attended A Very Terry Christmas Fator show which was great. Terry Fator is funny, entertaining and amazing. We get a kick out of his humor and his singing is amazing. This show had a great selection of Christmas song and we were amazed particularly how he sounded so much like Karen Carpenter. Overall, we had wonderful time. The venue is nice, staff professional and friendly, and snacks and drinks reasonable. Parking at Strat for locals is free. We also picked up a Winston puppet this time which is adorable and all proceeds from his merchandise sales go to helping military families through his foundation. Merry Christmas!

An amazing family show that will keep you laughing the whole time you were there. Highly recommend this to anybody that stops in Vegas and would like to do something with their family.

Yes, the Las Vegas name is synonymous with a plethora of unparalleled entertainment. There are spectacular shows, of every kind, for every taste, age and fantasy. However, there is only one Ventriloquist show, and it is that of Terry Fator, who is now at the Strat Hotel. He is a past winner of AGT (the second season), won that million dollars, and got a residency in Vegas. He has been playing Vegas for over a decade, at several notable resorts (Mirage, New York New York) before ending up at the Strat. What distinguishes this show from the others in Vegas is that, it is unique, unmatched, different, nostalgic and highly entertaining. Terry is an impersonator extraordinaire, who can mimic the voices of famous personalities and celebrities past (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr.) and present. He takes you down memory lane. And he can sing too (superbly, I might add). All this is done with his mastery of ventroloquism via his many well known puppets. The grand finale is the song, We are the World, for which Terry performs in the voices of 19 of the iconic singers who were featured on the recording (Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen, Diana Ross, Cyndi Lauper, Paul Simon, Tina Turner, Lionel Ritchie, etc). The whole show is a testament to the brilliance of Terry Fator. It is a, "must see" when you are in Vegas. It is one of the best, if not the best and unforgettable shows, the city has to offer.

Now at the Strat showroom. He does a good job with all of his characters, but some of his jokes fall a little flat. Most of his act is singing, and some comedy. He seemed a little scruffy, a little unkempt. We had plenty of laughs during the show. But, I wish it was more comedy and less singing. We saw what was supposed to be the family friendly version, but I definitely would rate it PG-13. Nice showroom. No drink service during the show.

My adult son and I went to see this show on a Sunday evening. We were seated in a booth and were able to see the stage well plus projections were on both sides of the stage. The show was good with a few risqué jokes from the puppets and Terry doted on his wife in the audience telling their love story. Terry came around to the audience with the Kermit puppet, but didn't make it to our area. He's very talented and funny with diverse puppets. Photos during the show are encouraged, no flashes! No meet and greet for photos after the show and the show souvenir items were sparse and unimpressive.

What a great show!! He was super talented and funny!! We had a great time watching him perform!! The turtle and Kermit the frog was a hit for the kids.

Honestly never had interest in going until a coworker of mine gave me tickets he wasn't going to use. Was a fun show u get photo ops during the show and after plenty of laughs throughout

Terry Fator is an amazing entertainer! I watched AGT when he won and man was he even more amazing in person! I can't wait to go and see one of his regular shows after the Christmas season ends! Bravo Terry and Merry Christmas.

Cute show and family-friendly, but definitely cheesey! I can now confirm that I'm not a fan of Vantrilaqists. But, for families looking for a safe show in Vegas its a good option. Now performing at the Stratosphere, this show has been levelled up with interactive ditigal imagery and effects in this new theater. Its cute that he has so many puppets that are celebrity impersonators and they all can sing, but it seems like he thinks his singing voice sounds better than it actually does! Plus, some of his bits are pretty racey and definitely PG-13 rated! Not really my thing, but I'm sure some kids and adults would love it!

What time do the doors open for a 5pm show?

Hi Melissa. Doors open approx 30 mins before start of show. Therefore, for a 5pm show, doors will open around 4.30pm.

Is there a lot of foul language in his show?

Not really, I don't remember any profanity but some of the jokes were a little mature. Nothing disgusting, though.

You spend half the time laughing and the other half quietly hoping you do not make eye contact. Somehow, they walk that perfect line where it is edgy without being awkward. The side acts are insane. Like, how is this even physically possible level talent. Every time you think it cannot get crazier, it does. It is part circus, part comedy show, part did I just witness that moment. And the Gazillionaire is the perfect ringmaster for it all, completely unhinged in the most controlled way possible. He keeps everything moving, keeps the crowd on edge, and somehow makes chaos feel like it is exactly on schedule. Going with a close friend made it even better. There is something about sharing those did that really just happen looks the whole night that makes it stick. If you are in Vegas and want something that is actually memorable and not just expensive for no reason, this is it. Easily one of the best shows on the Strip.

The biggest issue is the lack of transparency about wait times. If I had known how long the lines would be, I would not have purchased the Access Level 1 passes. Guests should be clearly warned about expected wait times before purchasing so they can make an informed decision. The line for Haley's Comet was absolutely ridiculous. The wait time rivals some Disneyland attractions, which is unacceptable for an experience where you are already paying for access. Standing in a long line without any clear communication about the expected wait makes the experience feel poorly managed. The operations overall felt very inefficient. There are not enough attractions available for the number of guests. For example, there are only two Birdly simulators, creating a major bottleneck. Staff members need to explain the directions and options for each activity, but instead of doing this while guests are waiting in line, they wait until it is the person's turn, which slows everything down even more. The AR Dodgeball experience was another example. They allow two people to play at a time, even though they could easily combine smaller groups and let two families or groups play together. There is only one dodgeball field, so better crowd management is needed. The concept of AREA15 is fun, but the execution needs major improvement. More capacity, better communication about wait times, and more efficient staff procedures would make a huge difference. As it stands, the long waits and poor organization make it difficult to justify the cost.

As MOH, I planned the party and spent a lottt of time going through reviews on Yelp and Reddit bc there was a lot of pressure to find the best option and decide for the group. Many reviews of the bigger shows said the performers had been doing it for so long that they looked like they were just going through the motions.. that the acts were unimpressive.. that the theater was so big you could only see the tricks on a screen, or that it was overpriced. After all my research, I'm SO glad I decided on Frederic -- the bride said this magic show was her favorite part of the trip!! (and we went to Tao dayclub the day before lol) :) I love that it was in a small, intimate theater, so that you were up close no matter where you sat. And there was SO much audience interaction -- our bride even caught a frisbee and got to go on stage -- which was fun and helped make it even more special for her. The mentalism was such a cool departure from traditional physical magic tricks -- we all loved it and had many *gasp* moments. We even got to meet Frederic after, and he performed more mentalism up close, which was cool. HIGHLY recommend this show!! (Also, it was $30/ticket, which is a price you cannot beat in Vegas)

Mat Franco is probably best known for winning Season 9 of America's Got Talent and now performs his residency, Magic Reinvented Nightly, at The LINQ in Las Vegas. I don't want to say too much because part of the fun is experiencing it for yourself. What I loved most was how much he interacted with the audience. It didn't feel like he was just performing at the crowd. He involved people throughout the show and made the entire room feel part of the experience. Absinthe's poster really gives you a better idea of what you are going to see, whereas Atomic Saloon's poster looks more akin to a unisex Thunder Down Under when it's really more R-rated Hee Haw. The loose story involves a brothel and a host of characters that interact with the facility and its matriarch but the comedy is really where it's at. From the Irish dancers with questionable teeth (when the bread started flying I could not stop laughing!) to the various aerial feats displayed, Atomic Saloon has a little bit of everything though it's not for the faint of heart--several people in our section left a few minutes into the show. As much fun as we had, the seats on the second floor are not great and you end up missing some of the action. Even more disappointing was that there were quite a few empty seats on the main level, and it would have made for an even better show if we had been given the opportunity to move forward like we did at OPM, another Spiegelworld show that used to run at Cosmopolitan.

Absolutely spectacular! This is hands down the best show in Vegas…read more My family and I booked this show for a Saturday night with no knowledge of what it would be like and were simply amazed. We had seen the Cirque du Soleil Show "O" before and this just does not even compare. I recommend getting seats in the center, facing the middle of the stage, as close to the front row as possible. Sitting in this section immerses yourself into the show. Logistically, this is a great venue. It is located in Treasure Island. It is in the back of the casino. Although there are signs throughout the casino leading you there, it is quite easy to get turned around on your way there. Once you find it, it is simple to enter. Use the restroom before you get in though because it is located outside of the theater! We arrived around 20 minutes prior to showtime and had no wait at all to enter. They offer commemorative photos for purchase, which we declined. There was no security which surprised me. There were no metal detectors or bag searches. Inside the theater, there is a large concessions stand with snacks and drinks. Even close to show time, there was no line there either. They have a lot of staff available to guide you to your seats - it's very efficient. The seats were actually very comfortable. They were soft, spacious, and had a lot of leg room. Even though there were no lines for anything, you absolutely need to get there early. The "show" starts before is set time as there is a comedic character that hilariously interacts with the crowd. This is a must-see and had everyone cracking up with the unexpectedness of it. The show itself is pure spectacle. It is a bizarre exhibition of talent and creativity. You will see everything from trapeze, contortion, acrobatics, dance, balancing acts, comedy, and live music from an orchestra, band, and singers. Seeing these athletes push the limits of what the human body can do in such a beautiful manner is incredibly thrilling. The costumes are beautiful and the sets are amazing. Every scene change and act is so unexpected and really leave you at the edge of your seat. You quite literally have to keep your eyes peeled open to make sure you don't miss anything. There are so many different things happening at once all across the stage, on the floor, the ceiling, and even along the walls and walkways of the audience. There is no clear plot so you may find yourself sitting there trying to figure out what it all means. Some people may find this boring but it truly makes the whole thing more fascinating. There is an obvious intention behind every little thing, it is just unclear what it is. It is truly a mystery. I have recommended this show to everyone I know and I would love to see it again!

Most of the show is nonsensical, so don't look for a plot. Something to consider if you think to yourself, I've seen this before, the fact that the show HAS been running for 30+ years means those other shows stole it from this one. Logistically, I had to pick up the tickets at will call, and when I arrived 35 minutes before show time, the line to get in was already snaking through the casino. While I panicked a little, the line moved super fast when they opened the doors. I didn't need to get into that long line. An important thing to remember, if you pick up your tickets at Will Call, you need some ID and the credit card you used to buy them. I was lucky I bought them online the night before, while I was already in Vegas, but I often use a different credit card when buying from home. So to cum up, depending on your taste, this show represents the original Cirque du Soleil concepts, and that's what you'll see.
