Instead, Dr. Dino resolved the infection with an antibiotic gum injection, followed by dental hygiene care two weeks later. Now it's May, and my tooth feels healthy and fresh again. Dr Fine came in and and started remarking about my teeth one by one as she examined them, and when it was all said & done she wanted to start with deep plane scaling and cleaning in 2 major sessions, and then basically make over most of my mouth with crowns and implants, as if my mouth is/was a complete disaster! One concern I had was a single dark fine vertical line I had developed on of each of my 2 front teeth, (possibly a superficial crack?) and she only offered veneers as a solution, but then said there was no way she would do them until I did a full course with Invisalign. I spent 6+ years of my youth in full upper and lower braces, double headgear, and after the bands, double retainers. I even had 4 extractions to accommodate the correction. My teeth are quite nice. It did not take long to realize this was not my dentist! I have since found a dentist who is amazing, has her own practice in Encino, is on the more conservative side, but can & will do anything you need. She's very skilled. She does not upsell. She said my mouth looks great, and whatever I'm doing, to keep it up. She also did bonding on my front teeth, which was easy, painless, affordable & looks beautiful! The lines are gone and the work looks so natural! She also takes my dental insurance, which Dr Fine does not.
