I wanted to give a special shout out to dental hygienist Anashe ! During my tooth cleaning session she was meticulous yet very delicate , while being maintaining great communication so I knew exactly how and when to tilt my head . Honestly it felt like a spa session for my tooth. I've experienced heavier handed dental cleanings full of random twingey sudden aches , the taste of blood and the feeling like there's someone mining ore from my teeth crevices - only to be shocked there were no cavities at all. Since I switched to this dental office I'm always pleasantly surprised by how gentle yet thorough Anashe is. Makes the whole experience way less stressful! read more

My family loves this dental office. Quality work every time. Appointments are easy to come by - they actually call you if you're on a waitlist. If there's an urgent dental issue, they squeeze you in. All staff are helpful and explain what they recommend, what they're doing, whether insurance covers it etc. I absolutely love their hygienist too. She's thorough and does an amazing job. I adore Dr Michael and his team. Can't recommend this office enough. I've been to so many dentists who recommend unnecessary procedures, jack up their prices, and don't care at all. Beware I don't know where all the positive reviews came from but he was a terrible disappointment. I came on time, yet waited 15 minutes only to be escorted to the exam room and then waited again and again. The doctor came in, spent but a minute talking and left to see another patient, waited again and again. It was factory care. But the biggest disappointment was the bill. What my dentist in Santa Clarita would have charged nothing to do (gluiing in a veneer, five minute process) this dentist charged me $250, with a 50.00 discount! Shocking, I only chose this doctor because of his proximity to my home. I'll travel back to Santa Clarita. Update: The dentist called me within minutes of posting this review and scolded me, he then called me back a second time moments later to tell me to "SHUT UP." I've never faced that kind of harassment and am very alarmed. Outside of the office visit and his two recent calls to me in response to my YELP review, I've never attempted to contact him and hopefully he will cease harassing me. read more

I had recently finished 35 treatments of radiation therapy to my mouth and was looking for a conservative and gentle dentist for cleaning and maintenance. This was my first visit and I have to say it was great experience. Dr. Aznavour was kind and a patient listener and explained everything about what was going on with my teeth and mouth and how to maintain good dental hygiene in my current condition. I had not been to the dentist in about 4 years, I take good care of my teeth and honestly, the experience at the dentist is often not the best. I was lucky enough to be referred to Doctor Michael for an emergency situation right before a trip and he was so dedicated he even called me on a Sunday to confirm he could help me and arrange my appointment. The service was immaculate, the staff can't be friendlier or more helpful and the results are exactly what I needed. Great dental experience. Being of the crowd who generally avoids/dislikes going to the dentist, this place is really nice. Easily the smoothest dental experience I've had. From the moment I walked in the door, the staff were nice and easy going. Dr. Aznavour is amazing. He's very patient, non-judgmental, and has excellent bedside manner. His exam was very thorough, he was very knowledgeable and had no problem answering all my questions. I had an dental exam that turned into having two emergency cavities filled. I'm grateful he was able to fit this into the appointment. The Dr and his team work quickly and efficiently; the entire appointment (exam, x-rays and filling 2 cavities) took about an hour and a half. Amazing. I would give Dr. Aznavour TEN Stars If YELP allowed. I CHIPPED my front tooth a while ago, biting hard on a fork. I didnt look like an extra from Breaking Bad Set, but I could def. notice it. I took my time to get it fixed because I wanted the perfect dentist. Mean time, I tried to just chuckle instead of my hearty laughs. Nevertheless, Thanks to YELP, I found him. After quick and FRIENDLY exam, Dr. A came up with the genius idea of filling in my chipped tooth and slightly grinded down the lower teeth so when I bite down, it wouldnt put too much pressure on the tooth. Hence the filling wouldnt pop out. The above took less than 10 minutes. Second, Dr. A advised to help my Tmj, he would make night-guard for me. He took a mold of my teeth and I get to pick them up in just a couple of weeks. His entire TEAM is super super SUPER welcoming, kind, well spoken and I felt at ease the entire time. Quality:------ A+ Great work, my tooth looks PERFECT! Office:-------- A+ Super clean and cozy! Remodeling soon so Im sure it will look even better. I try to take care of my teeth so I don't have to see the dentist. My friend recommended him to me and OMG I am so grateful, within one day they processed my insurance info, got me in for an appointment the next day, took my x-rays and did my cleaning! He also pulled out my wisdom teeth within five minutes and I was so fine as if it never happened. I had no issues with billing, his prices are absolutely great. Dr. Aznavour and his dental hygienist Jessie is the best. I appreciate that they're open on Saturdays. The office is clean and calm space with a lot of cute pictures of the doctor's family. He also updates his equipment regularly! The xray process is one of the easiest I have ever experienced. The doctor also never recommends unnecessary procedures, which may be a concern for patients who don't really understand if its needed or not. The office staff is also very great. Tina especially is so warm and welcoming. I remember first calling on a day they were closed by accident and Tina picked up anyway. They are usually cheerful and friendly. They're absolutely sincere and genuinely concerned about your well-being. They don't overlook you as "just another client." They take the effort to remember each customer and treat them as if they were family. Their workplace is always spotless and well-equipped. Until I got here, I had no idea half of this new technology existed in dentist offices. It's extremely fascinating because while you're sitting there, you can see your x-ray and close-up photographs of your teeth. During your initial visit, they go through everything with you. But seeing what they're talking about (i.e., dental difficulties) on the big screen is extremely cool! My first cleaning session went without a problem. They were polite, cautious, and exact. I've been to other dentist clinics where the staff is rude and the cleanings leave my mouth hurting. But not when it comes to AG Dental. There was no need to be rough because they were quite thorough. They also provide you with safe eyewear to ensure that no water (if any) gets on your face. The doctor was also very nice and communicative. He was very helpful with answering any questions and didn't seem bothered, nor rushed. Dr. Anzavour really cares about his patients and making sure all our questions get answered. I highly recommend anyone looking for a new dentist to check this place out. I have a bit of a dentist phobia and have had some bad experiences at the dentist, so finding Dr. Mike and his team has been an absolute life changer. His front desk staff are kind, professional, and efficient. His back office staff are gentle and knowledgeable. Dr. Mike is everything you want in a dentist. He doesn't try to sell you things you don't need like Invisalign like many other dentists do and he knows his stuff! I had a tooth that was causing me a lot of pain and he took his time with it and referred me to a specialist (instead of trying to handle it himself) and it turns out that a previous root canal I had wasn't properly done and there was an infection dealing havoc. If I tell him a tooth is hurting or feeling sensitive, he doesn't jump to doing unnecessary treatments, rather he really looks into it and gives advice like switching toothbrushes. I used to have dental treatments all the time. Did I suddenly stop getting cavities or does this dentist just not want to unnecessarily drill my face?
