THIS REVIEW IS FOR VISUAL SNOW TREATMENT: I first started seeing Dr Tsang in May of 2022. I'd been diagnosed with visual snow syndrome two years prior. When I had the first onset of VSS, I didn't know how I could live with the condition. I fully understood how some people on message boards said they were suicidal. I did a lot of my own research, changed my diet and had come as far as I could on my own without a lot of support or understanding from the medical community. One doctor told me I should stop searching & join an online support group. Another doctor in NY, who claims to have VSS herself, said she never met anyone who got rid of 90%of the symptoms. I am proof that this condition can go from severely detrimental to just a mere inconvenience with the right treatment. When I first got VSS, I could not see. There was a bright, loud static in front of everything. I was terrified. I was having panic attacks and fainting. The "floaters", which looked like spiders, were unbearable & nearly opaque black. As time passed, they got lighter on their own but were so persistent in my vision that I wore sunglasses to cancel them out, even indoors and especially under fluorescent lighting. After having VSS for two years, the migraines weren't as frequent, the floaters had become more translucent grey than black, and the static was faint. But I had an odd sense of confusion around spatial awareness & balance, increased grey floaters & increased static whenever I'd get sick, stressed or after receiving the Covid vaccine. I called them flare ups and once they increased, they'd hang around for around 2 months. My goal in seeing Dr Tsang was to become more resilient to flare ups, bouncing back quicker. I didn't know she would be able to make my life as good as it's gotten. After doing in-person & Zoom rehab regularly with Dr Tsang for about four months & then more infrequently for about 3 more months, I saw incredible progress. 1). Ability to bounce back to a baseline quicker after "flare ups" 2). Severely lessened appearance of floaters 3). Eliminated feeling of head pressure or fullness 4). Restored balance & spatial awareness 5). Able to go under fluorescent & sunlight w/o sunglasses. 6). Bonus: my vision & focus are crazy sharp now, so I can read much better I'm sure there are many things I'm forgetting but mainly, Dr Tsang has a program that works. It's very hard to describe because I just don't understand how it works! It just does. One of the most effective parts is the use of colored glasses worn daily for 10 minutes outdoors (I stuck my head out a window each day for months! Or sat in the yard). I think it's called Syntonic light therapy but don't quote me on that. I almost immediately stated noticing a tolerance for light that I just didn't have before & less head pressure. She incorporated a holistic approach, conditioning my body to relax while doing the eye exercises and more importantly, she gave me hope that there are ways to get better from VSS. I recently had a flare up and she sent me new glasses for a 10 day cycle where I did the light therapy with my head out the window, because I started seeing floaters again after an increase in stress around Christmas. It is still shocking to me that it worked to make them much less noticeable again. This review only brushes the surface on my gratitude for her and her staff.

Dr. Tsang provides great care and applies her experience and expertise to come up with creative solutions to complex vision problems. The staff is caring and responsive. They offer a good selection of quality frames. I especially appreciate their nice offering of Nike frames. Ruby is patient and very helpful in picking out frames. They moved to a new location at the corner of Irvine Center Drive and Bake Pkwy. I really like the new location, because of the ample parking spaces available. From Irvine Center Drive you turn right onto Muller into the parking lot. Go straight through the first round-about, and at the second round-about make a right turn, and the building will be to your right. They're on the second floor. There are staircases on both ends of the building and an elevator lobby in the middle of the building. There's a sanitizer as you enter the office. Easy access, easy parking, and great care.

A huge shoutout to Phi, who was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I walked in, he made me feel welcome, cared for, and truly seen. His attention to detail and warm energy made a lasting impression. It's rare to come across customer service like this, and I just wanted to share my appreciation. Thank you, Phi and team! I'll definitely be coming back.

This is by far the worst eye clinic/optical store I have ever been to…read more My entire experience was incredibly disappointing. I found the doctors to be unprofessional, lacking integrity, and showing little respect for their patients. They wasted my time with what seemed like unnecessary tests instead of addressing my actual concerns. I also questioned the accuracy of my eye exam because the prescription they gave me did not match my vision needs. What was even more frustrating was that my prescription listed a contact lens brand they don't even sell. When I asked if they could order it, they told me they couldn't. Then they said that if I wanted to purchase a different brand that they do sell, I would have to undergo another eye exam and get a new prescription. The entire process felt unreasonable and like a waste of both my time and money. I have completely lost confidence in their professionalism and would not recommend this place to anyone. Look at all the bad reviews! No matter how they argue, this place is terrible !

Our doctor at the Beverly Hills Eye Center referred us to Dr Domínguez, Modern Eye Optometry, in Lake Forest. Since 2018 we have been with Dr Domínguez and his team; we have only received excellent, professional and caring services. Our fears were allayed immediately, and time and time again Dr Domínguez' expertise in optometry has been demonstrated. I had an opportunity to also see an ophthalmologist that when I mentioned I was under Domínguez' care, he said "Ah you are in great hands." Thank you Dr. Domínguez, you and your team are definitely and highly recommended for the personal caring reception you always give your clients and because of your level of expertise, use of updated technology, and flexibility in seeing us.
