Really disappointed after they quoted me 1306.00 to change my alternator and belt . I had been calling around to see what parts cost one call was to my dealership they quoted me 611 for my my alternator so I called O'Reillys to see what a aftermarket would be and they 240. asked Kelly' while he was explaining why it was so expensive that the part he quoted me was 608 and I said that a OEM Correct? He said no aftermarket rebuild . I said but The OEM for my car at the dealership is 611 at that point he get very short and rude I called other shops to get quoted one shop wanted 743.00 while the other was 660 00 . I'd be very careful using Kelly's auto do you homework' ladies they are dishonest and rude. I only give them a 1 cause I have too Update after Firestone fixed my car I DID NIT NEED A BELT! Extremely rude, called about a window motor was cussed at and given attitude for calling at 4:30 am I work night shift and sleep during the day this place is open 24 hours so it was one of the only places I could call, I'm not one to complain but I was very nice about it and just asked "hey are yall able to change out a window motor and if so how much would it cost?" And was greeted with "what the F*** this couldn't wait? Do you realize it's 4:30 in the morning?" Was extremely unprofessional and rude. read more

I had my son's car towed because it overheated. I was charged $325 for Terry's Garage to say there was nothing wrong with the car other than he added 2.5 liters of antifReese. Needless to say, I left feeling screwed because obviously there was a reason there was no antifreeze!!! Today, his car lost all its antifreeze again!!!!!! I called them, and they said they did everything they knew to do!! Really??? Go somewhere else!!!!!!!! Now I'm out $325 and the car is still broken with the EXACT same problem!!! read more

Car wouldn't start, so need a tow home. Called Terry's, met me quickly and I was parked at MSU, in an angled parking spot. Driver Jason got it out and placed it in my driveway. The key fob wouldn't work, so couldn't take outta gear or turn wheels. Jason called Mercedes and did it safe and properly. Very nice guys to help me at 6pm on Sunday to pull out a wracked car on the roadside a couple of miles east of 65! They reacted so quickly and finished the job including finding the car within an hour. Great job done! However, they never told you the cost until you came to pick up the car for $880!!!! It's always very basic and honest to let the custom know the cost before providing their service, so the custom can make a choice. This is totally not acceptable. He just told me that it costs a lot of money to run his business, but this is not the reason to hurt the customers so badly! read more

I had the unfortunate experience of striking a deer head-on at night, on a busy highway, in the middle of nowhere, and in a rental car. Totaled the car and the deer. Fortunately, I was able to walk away, After calling the Highway Patrol, I called the car rental company, and they dispatched Terry's for the tow back to Springfield, about 50 miles away. Terry himself showed up, in the middle of a rainstorm, and had the car and me loaded up and headed back to Springfield in about 10 minutes. Not only was he efficient and courteous, but he also called the rental agency on the way and convinced a representative to stay a little past closing time to enable me to rent a replacement vehicle. Then, with the car still in tow, he drove me to the rental lot, and I was able to transfer all of my belongings from the wreck to the replacement. I have used Terry's in the past so they were the first one I called today. The roads are icy and my daughter slid into a ditch right outside of our community. Whomever answered the phone was more interested in ordering his breakfast and making sure he got extra gravy. He had no idea when he would get to her and the price was estimated at "well over $100." The last time I used them it was $60. This place is obviously not concerned about the customer's safety and food and money are the priority. read more

This auto shop is top notch. My car had a big problem and Terry's team fixed my car in the same day. While other shops would have kept my car for a few days. Terry also worked very hard in giving me the best deal possible. He said my car would most likely cost up to $400-600 to fix but I only ended up paying $300.
