The only option is to replace the wheel hub so I went to Springwater Trailers to buy a new one. It turns out tha there are two possible sizes of bearings and I did not know which I had. The trailer was disabled and sitting about a 1 hour drive from here and so this was a problem. The gentleman at Springwater Trailer sold me the new hub at a very reasonable price and then gave me a second set of bearings of the alternate size and an additional seal. He explained to me how to check the size and change the bearings if necessay. He did not charge me for the second set of bearings. He just asked that I bring back the set I did not use. I followed his instructions, changed the hub and today I will return the unused set of bearings and the seal. Over the years I have found that people who trust others are usually also trustworthy. This guy has my trailer business for as long as he owns the company. Jeff B.
