Snow storm and mistake on delivery time still great experience December 29, 2025 scheduled date I was given, however Patrick had December 30 on his paper work and was surprised to see me there with my trade I just picked up from storage in Hudsonville, Mi. Problem was I had to have my deliver the 29th and I had to have it near 1:00 PM to give me time to get the new RV to my Hudsonville indoor heated storage location before they closed. Maybe the worst weather this winter tried its best to make things hard, but it failed. Patrick Brown (my salesman) did everything needed to make it happen even thought the finance lady was not there and he had to get a substitute money person to make the deal happen and he had to get the prep people to push the new coach delivery up a whole day. Patrick made everything happen and I made it to storage with 10 minutes to spare. I am not sure how the date got messed, but Terrytown and Patrick fixed everything. AS I said this is my 4 purchase from Terrytown which includes three Super C's and one B, this one was a new Super C and I traded a 2025 Sunseeker 2400B Sprinter (purchased from a different dealer) that proved to be great but just too small in the bedroom and in the storage department. All my purchases from Terrytown were for new coaches and all the purchases have been good experiences. I am 81 and have owned more than 30 new coaches. We brought our Jayco Eagle to Terrytown and they noticed a small tear in our roof membrane and recommended we replace the membrane. About 10 weeks later, the roof lining was finally replaced. We called to check on the trailer many times, and there were always "reasons" why it was not finished in a timely manner. Often items needed to be ordered. We picked up the trailer and from what we could see with the naked eye, the roof looked ok. We are not experts. Fast forward to February 2026. We traveled to Galveston, Texas. Just traveling down the highway at 65mph, the membrane ripped away. We contacted Terrytown and told them about the issue and stated: We "do believe that Terrytown should stand behind their work. Given that the new roof was put on by Terrytown only 6 months ago, the conclusion is an improper install." Terrytown refused reimbursement. They would not stand behind their work. read more

I wound up buying a 2025 Anthem 44Z from blue compass for 395,000. Terrytown was asking 595 for the same unit. tells you everything you need to know. Place is a joke. Website says they are open until 8. But that's for sales only. Lady made a point to open the door and 5:01 and tell me they can't help me with parts because they are closed at 5. Happy to sell you a camper until 8 but won't help with anything else. Bunch of classic cars inside but no campers. Must have turned into owners play place with shitty employees. At the DeVos camper show in Grand Rapids we were told more than once the unit was sold, but they were expecting more and we could even order the layout we desired. Deposit was given and papers signed and magically the unit was now ours. On the way home we noticed the unit was not a 2026 but actually 2025. We contacted the salesperson and was told deposit could not be refunded. They provided name of everyone who gave a deposit at the show and the amount to my credit card company. Buyer beware.... After reading the reviews, I reluctantly went in with my husband a month or so ago to look at a 5th wheel. I have never been so disgusted..... While sitting with a sales person, we over heard a "women" shouting at an employee in such a vulgar, disrespectful and degrading manor. We then learned that it was actually the OWNERS daughter. Needless to say we were so turned off that we politely finished the meeting and never returned to this place of "business." Purchase a 2014 Fifth wheel in December 24 and pick it up in March. Paid $299 for cleaning, new battery and propane tanks filled. Was certainly not cleaned inside or outside. Noticed the battery box was not screwed shut so I could see they had installed the smallest cheapest battery you could get. Was informed that was the standard battery they put in. Lights blink every time you turn on another one due to low output of the battery. Used the furnace for a few hours and ran the front tank ran out. Took both out to refill and found out the back one was only half full. If I buy another one, it most likely will be from another dealer. read more

we bought an over 100k 5th wheel rv from them and the delivery experience was a nightmare! From the time we completed the loan paperwork to the time we picked up the unit it was anything but enjoyable. We weren't given any instructions as to how to hook up even though we purchased the hitch from their parts dept. When it needed to be adjusted a little they indicated that their service department would charge and additional 200 to do this 10 min repair. My husband could do himself but didn't have his tools. We ended up borrowing someone's tools and my husband did it himself we werent about to pay another 200 after we just bought a 100k rv from them! Also they never set up any of the options or explain how things work except for a quick run around in the cold. Which was ridiculous because they have a huge warehouse except for all the collector cars that take up space so they can't deliver rvs inside. Don't think about buying from here!!!! Was told by our salesperson and during walk-through that our brand new Jayco fifth wheel had solar. We discovered after purchasing that it doesn't and TerryTown doesn't care that they sold us a misrepresented unit. We would NOT have purchased if we knew it didn't have solar. They also cheaped out and put an underpowered battery. We have arrived home twice now with a completely dead battery. The owner and daughter don't care and will do nothing to help a dissatisfied customer. There is no corporate to complain to. Not a reputable or honest business that takes care of customers. While they were nice to show the RV, the prices are a joke (both on the trade in and the new we were looking to purchase). I recommend looking elsewhere as the lowest price they will go is NOT the lowest price others will get you. We are happy we took the time to shop around even though they had exactly what we wanted. While I have to admit, I did get a good value on my purchase, the follow up customer service has been pathetic. They lowballed me on trade but that's nothing new. The issue is they offered to apply a ceramic coating. It looks like crap, does not repel water or bugs like a ceramic at all. I complained about it, and was told I could bring back for a repeat coat. Anyone who knows true ceramics, can't apply new on old. I paid for a real professional coater visit me, and he said what was applied was more of a wax, than a ceramic. Terrytown refuses to work with me beyond going to a Great Lakes chemical for them to do it again and I pay more. Since GL won't do anything else, Terrytown said sorry, nothing more. Terrytown sold the product and applied. They are responsible. Long story short, if you want a good sale, they are ok. If you want after the sale support, be prepared to be disappointed. read more

We were looking for a certain RV and posted it on a Newmar Facebook page. We received an almost immediate response from TerryTown letting us know that they had what we were looking for. At our request they supplied us with pictures about the coach they had and answered all the questions we had. We drove from just north of Indianapolis to Grand Rapids, MI on a Saturday and spent 3 hours with Gabrielle looking at the coach, taking a test drive and then working on a deal. Never once was there any pressure at all regarding buying the coach from them. We agreed on a price to buy the coach. Of course, we had money to transfer and a loan to be worked out. TerryTown worked out everything to our satisfaction. They kept us informed on what was happening. It was the most smooth transaction we have ever been a part of. Every person we dealt with was extremely knowledgeable and could not have been nicer. Yes, it was almost four hours, one way; but it was worth it. I would absolutely do it again. HelpEd my father in law with the purchase of a used Airstream. The posting said it had a new refrigerator ( it did) when they gave us the out the door price they tried to add $400+ for the refrigerator. We had to point out that the listing never said anything about it being extra. Turns out the refrigerator isn't an RV refrigerator its 120v only even though the salesman implied it was gas/electric. When we did the walk thru we noticed that there were no batteries, had to convince them to add them since once again that wasn't disclosed in the listing. read more

Do not buy here! Spent over 32k on a unit. Drove 5 hours to walk thru and pick it up. I got a 5 min walk thru nothing more. They made sure to grab as much money from me as I left. Need to upgrade your hitch. another 550. Get home, Load it up and go to use it find my Propane tanks are empty. Then I notice 3 power outlets in the unit dont work. Investigate further and they never installed a battery! But they made sure i paid 1000 for ceramic coating. This place wants to offload units at any cost. Buyer beware. Now i am on the other side of the country they feel they have no need to make things right after 2 months of this BS. Heard about the RV Show on TV decided to stop and maybe look at some RVs. As we are approaching retirement age and thinking about maybe trying the RV life in the winter. Walked in the door of the show room was greeted by a young lady, asked if she could help us and we said no thank you we would like to just roam around and look at RVs. She than said we couldn't do that without a sales person. We just wanted to look considering we have no idea what RV offered in today's world. We were disappointed that their website listed two trailers (Salem 31KTBSS and a 30KQBSS) we were interested in as available, but were not. I even called and spoke to a representative to confirm availability the night before we drove there to confirm and he told us yes. So my wife and I took the day off work, drove 1.5 hours to TerryTown, only to find out the units we were interesting WERE sold and no longer available! It was such a waste of time and our money (we blew a couple hundred bucks using vacation time to drive all that way, remember)!! Went and looked at RV at local camper show. Found one we liked. Explained we could not finance at that time as we needed to wait until our home refinance was complete. They suggested we put a $500 deposit down. We did just that, but then we found out that we would not be able to afford the camper due to credit issues. They now refuse to give our deposit back. They stated it was non refundable. We were not told that and we also told them that we could no finance at that time. I have contacted them multiple times to get my $500 back and they refused. Hi Rob, per your request I am updating my review. I want to thank you for being the most professional person I've dealt with at Terry Town. Sending the trailer all the way down to Indiana was a waste of yours and my time. The roof came back worst. The trim is lifted and not contacting the roof. Water still pools. Now there are brad nails pushing up through the membrane. They Just put Sealant on top of sealant I wish this was a joke! This just speaks volumes to the quality of the Forest River Brand. I now have a firm understanding some companies just don't have skilled workmen! To calibrate my expectations, just to make sure I wasn't a "crazy customer" I checked out their fan page on Facebook. All you can find is people asking how to fix what's wrong with their trailers. At this point I have no faith in Forest River at all. At what point? At what point is this trailer considered a lemon? At what point has there been to many repairs to a trailer? At what point should a customer be compensated for the dealer having the trailer longer than the customer has owned it. At what point? UPDATE #2 APRIL 2021: Our $25K trailer purchased from Terry Town RV, is now up to $22K in repair costs. This is simply for the cost of the damages that already existed when we purchased our 5th-wheel from Terry Town RV. The value of the trailer, in perfect condition is $34K. By the time we are done, I will have $47K into the trailer. UPDATE APRIL 2021:. We have had our 5th Wheel since July 2020. I covered the trailer for the winter and uncovered in March for our first trip of 2021. We had some snow, not unusual for our area. During the melt I checked inside of the RV and it was extremely wet in the bunkhouse. It turns out the slides were leaking as were the windows. We ran it over to our local repair shop and after they looked into it, they found 3-4 years worth of dry rot and mold. Our trailer, which was supposed to be a great deal at $25K, will cost over $19K to repair. Not such a great deal after all. We notified Terry Town RV and they leaned on the "As-Is" policy. Now to be clear, they did offer an extended warranty that I turned down, but the extended warranty does not cover this kind of damage, especially long-term damage. My caution to potential customers is BUYER BEWARE. JULY 2020: We purchased our trailer from Jeremy. We drove nearly across the country to go to Terrytown RV to purchase our first, new to us, 5th wheel. The team there was welcoming and made sure we were good to be before we left. I can't say enough good things about the entire team there. I'm glad we made the drive and I would do it again. read more

Paid almost $100,000.00 for a unit that has Issues. Tried dealing with the service department to no avail. Was told that they can't find help. We live in this RV full time so this is a great inconvenience for us to live in a RV that has a slide that won't go out. I was actually told by Corey in the service department " that it is what is" when I complained about the issues with the RV. They sell you a unit and once they get their money you are tossed aside like last night's garbage. They do NOT stand by their product!! I wanted to edit a previous review on Terrytown and reduce it from a reasonable 2 stars to an actual 1 star. A customer service manager contacted me with an aggressive defensive attitude about my 2 star rating. Had she given me 10 seconds to reply, she would have known that the complaint was not about the camping trailer that I purchased recently . My complaint was about the nonexistent service department and their lack of concern...to even return a call or answer the phone. I had called 11 times and talked with a receptionist who transferred my call to various people several times. I left several voice messages and never received a call until an internet sales person responded to my negative posting. My complaint concerned my motorhome that had three appointment and was dropped off and sat unattended for days and the service writer said it would be another 3 or 4 days until it was even looked at. The motorhome was delivered with a defect, was scheduled 3 times for repair and never got any attention. Covid, lack of employees or whatever the excuses are, all I asked for was someone to answer the phone or return a call so I could either wait or take it to a good repair shop and have the work done. My husband just got a call from customer service at terrytown and he was verbally attacked, she was on speaker phone and was rude to a degree that anyone who deals with customer service should be ashamed. My husband is a 100% American disabled veteran who did not lie in his revue. At this moment I am watching my husband try to regulate his breathing and if he can't I want to know who to send the bills to. This is very upsetting I guess the moral to the story is leaving a unpleasant review can be hazardous to your health. Would be zero but Yelp makes you give at least one. THEIR website allows you to inquire about inventory and even to allegedly get their best price. Not the case. You give info and never hear back but you do get endless automated emails regarding nothing of interest. Then you call to get the info and pretty much go through the full sales routine when all you want is the price. Thanks for having the best sales people that sell a customer on going elsewhere to do business. Odd way to run a business but hey to each their own. Oh and to whoever will reply to this with standard script about understanding but never do anything about it we were looking at Class A Diesel - MSRP currently in the $500,000 - $600,000 range. Not to happy. Our sales man got laid off. So no contact person now. Did not go over camper as well as we would have liked. Had to take camper back for some warranty work that's were it got bad. The brakes are not working and was told they were adjusted and better. Not better just made it around block and took it back. Than told they need to break in.... I dont belive the guy I was talking to knows much on fixing or operation of that stuff. Took camper for more break in and still not good. Called to get fixed and he back pedaled and argued with me. Our camper was broken into while they were repairing it. They told us about the break in the day they told us the RV was finished being fixed and asked us if we delivered it that way to them. Now we are going on first camping trip and some things they say they fixed are still broken. Did they even go into our camper to fix the oven, AC and heater? Pretty sure they would have seen our broken items and mirror smashed prior to the day it was done. Now we find out so much stuff was stolen out of. They said they are not liable. Why wasn't the camper locked? They said they didn't know if they have security cameras on their lot and sometimes kids from the neighborhood get in the campers. Go somewhere else. read more

I am posting an update to my previous review and response from "Todd," the business owner. The errors in the response are remarkable! First, it is my husband and my unit, not my father's. Second, we DID NOT have the unit be left out after the service - I walked IN TO Terry Town to pick it up and even spoke with Tripp to ensure that that everything was done. I phoned Tripp on the way home when I realized that the work we requested was not done (yes, I have proof on my phone records of that call), and it was then he told us "Ya, we forgot. Bring it back." I told Tripp how inconvenient this was because it was a two hour round trip, with two vehicles, and Terry Town already had it for 11 days. Also, we were told it was Terry Town's POLICY to leave the unit sit for two days on drop-off because of Covid, which we were very fine with. Your scenario portrayed in your response simply did not happen. Yes, your service manager did offer yesterday for us to bring it back up but was more concerned with my review than anything else. WHY would would bring it back to a company that is being so negligent and not truthful in their response? Again, we were warned by other former customers . . . Should have listened! read more

RUN!! Don't walk.. RUNAWAY from this place! We just purchased a 70K camper from them to find these metal shavings all over our carpet. Hundreds of these. You cannot 'walk on the carpet right now without shoes, and we were simply told by their service department Tripp Mueller, "The metal shavings you will find for a little longer. We clean our very best but do not always get it all. The more you drive it, the more it will shake those other pieces up. Nothing to be concerned about." I'm sorry, but this amount of dust, dirt, debris, and metal shavings means you did not do any type of cleaning. We waited 1 week for this to get ready, and then we waited another 3 hours at the dealership for them to get it ready because it still wasn't. This was very obviously a rushed and crap job. Take your money elsewhere because they don't seem to honestly care if this is how they are handling the situation. -My Trailer was with Terry Town for 6 months. - I had a list of items that needed to be fixed but the main reason I brought my trailers in was for my refrigerator to be replaced has it did not work all of 2020 summer. -My fridge was NOT replaced, nor do I think they even tested it appropriately. I set my trailer up on Friday and camped in it all weekend and on Sunday my Fridge and freezer still were not working. ---The ice cube trays were still warm and not froze, and the bottled water that is in the fridge is warmer then the air out doors (70 outside). This is not expectable -There were a few other items I noticed on the print out that also were not fixed, such as the metal tracking for the outdoor locks.  Some of the metal tracking is bent and there for the latches to not hit it and does not latch. -To top it off, when we went to pick the trailer up, my trailer  was not cleaned...there was old trim, staples and a layer of dust over the entire trailer.  It took me 4 hours to clean out my trailer that was brought to Terry Town spotless... read more

We purchased a Jayco and the fan was installed in the incorrect location. We are there now a week and a half later and have been waiting for an hour and still aren't hooked up and ready to go. We said something and now folks in the service area are complaining and acting like a group of school children because we said something to express our displeasure. Definitely not how I wanted our first purchase experience to go. At this point, I would not recommend Terry Towne for anything and wish we had went to Camping World instead. read more

I asked for an extreme winter package and when Papers were Signed the head guy in the office signed it covered under belly! I paid $2444,00 for a 10 year extended warranty...The main boss in the office tried to make e sign As is by Terry Town. However I signed Under dourest I feel forced to sign this. I do not agree. I paid for full warranty and wrote my entitles He also stole the original agreement whited out extreme winter package and changed it.to covered under belly! Again I signed disagree I paid for extreme winter package. I also see in the final papers I received from the bank it says As is by Terry Town. Sure enough first week in the camper and the water tanks froze; gray and fresh...And Terry Town will not fix it unless I pay them to come and get it or drive it in...I told them I do not have a truck yet from the beginning! The Camper comes with Road side service but no Terry Town says to me, that's only for a flat tire! The service man Hung up on me! I still have a three year factory warranty! And ther;s a stcker on my camoer that reads etreem weather and yet no help!!! I will be getting a truck in six month's and will travel,,,However for now I live in a brand new 2019 broken camper with my father whom has cancer and this is our last days together!!! read more
