I'm extremely unhappy with my experience at the Tesla Collision Center in Tempe. I expected better service, especially since I was dealing directly with Tesla. I own a 2023 Tesla Model Y, and after the repairs were completed, I noticed several damages to the car. I immediately reported them to the advisor (Jason Kendall), who scheduled another service appointment to review the damages. When I returned, I showed Jason the damages and it wasn't just the damages that were a problem--when they replaced the lift gate, it seemed they didn't use any protection on their feet, leaving footprints all over the trunk. On top of that, they didn't even bother to clean the inside, leaving debris all over the trunk and rear seats ( as showed on pictures), also I had a warning on the screen telling me the cameras needed a software update and to schedule a service appointment. Since they replace the rear camera I figure that was the issue. Jason was unhelpful and refused to perform a camera software update (even though they replaced the rear backup camera), telling me I had to schedule another appointment with Tesla Service for that. His lack of professionalism and how the situation was being handled left me extremely mad and frustrated. After some back and forth, the manager got involved and manager was able to do the update the car's camera software, fix the loose lift gate, and replace a damaged rear door trim. However, they refused to fix the damage on the front hood, claiming it was already there. When I asked for proof, they showed me a picture of the hood with a piece of tape, which they said that they marked potential pre-existing damages with tape. Even when zooming in on the photo, I couldn't see any damage on the picture that they showed me. When I asked if they took a closer picture, they said no, because that's not their process. I pointed out that the picture didn't show any visible damage, but Jason didn't respond. By this point, I was exhausted and fed up with the lack of care and accountability. It was clear to me that they didn't care about my concerns or my car. I'm furious with how they handled the situation, from not providing proof of the supposed pre-existing damage to the careless, the messy way they returned my car without even cleaning the repaired areas. I will never return to this location, as they don't treat customers or their cars with the respect they deserve. read more

Check my profile. I've never left a bad review in 20 years but this place deserves it. They would rather play games with the insurance company to juice them for extra money than do the job. They don't care about leaving families with infants without their vehicle for extended periods of time. I am probably going to forego my car being repair since this is the only Tesla approved shop through my insurance and they quoted a 3 week minimum lead time (with the bumper painted and in hand). Their quote was 3x more expensive than the dealer to repair it and the dealer said it would be a 1 day job. This place had the gaul to try to tell me that taking off a bumper and replacing it is an 2 day job. And $2k for a plastic $50 rocker panel too? But the cherry on top? According to a surly receptionist: "That's before disassembly. We can't tell you if Tesla will match our rate or what the final price will be but if you don't pay it, your bumper is already off and can't be replaced unless you pay us an amount we have yet to determine. Dropped my Wife's Tesla Model Y here after some road debris hit the frunk and left a dent and a long scrape and the team here was absolutely fantastic! They were quick to give a quote, a detailed explanation of the fix and Rob was amazing in his communication about how it would be fixed and afterward after I picked it up! Tesla Collision in Tempe did not fix my car the first time. They said they fixed my 2021 Tesla 3 with under 3k miles in July 2024 . This was from an accident, they said something was wrong with the alignment, and I never heard anything about it. When the finished the car the message said they did not charge for the wheel , tire and alignment. Then I began having slight issues and thought it may be tires . I spend 1k on tires, then it began to pull again in December 2024, i found my tires were bald from possible suspension. The app froze and I could not make and appointment for service until 2 weeks later , one tire blew out and one shredded. All warning/alerts came on. I had to have it towed to Tesla Service center . They said I had chassis or harness problems from a prior accident. They pointed the finger at Tesla collision and said they could not touch my car. I had to pay to have it towed to my house, then wait two weeks to get it in at Tesla Collison tempe. My car has been there for several weeks, they have not updated my information, they claimed my car was damaged from pot holes or curbs and claimed I should have had my alignment done after the last time I had my car fixed there. Ashley from Regional and John Spears the GM don't return calls. Ashley claimed they sent an estimate to my old email and that they sent the appraisal. John informed me that they can not check the car without OEM tires, then stated that the collision center only does dents and body damage. That he would have to check to see what the actual damage was. So they have no idea what they are doing , so their claims of estimate , where the damage came from, that they are not liable, or that they claimed they told me I needed to get my alignment done does not hold weight. They made promises to get back to me and update me what the actual issue is, and have not. I have never had good Tesla service other than when they sold the car. They make it so you can't contact management or make something happen with anyone. It has been so frustrating and I have not had a vehicle for over a month. I just contacted the Arizona Attorney Generals office to file an actual complaint. read more

I had a great experience here. They followed up with me all the time until my car was done. I got updates and news on every item and issue. It took a long time to get fixed but that wasn't their actual fault. Parts were needed and they had to order more as they noticed more things broken behind the bumper once it was removed. They fought the insurance company for me and made them pay for everything even when the insurance company was upset about having to. Car was repaired like brand new. read more

My Model Y was rear-ended. The police said there was no damage, however, I could see the bumper was slightly warped and pushed in. Jorge managed the repair and communicated with me throughout the process. He even took care of a paint mismatch issue. Tesla Collision communicated with my insurance company on the back-end since the repair was determined to be more involved, after removing the bumper. The staff at Tesla was professional and courteous; they are straight shooters that delivered in a timely manner. Rob, Jorge, and Sarah kept me up to date, returning my vehicle to me within 5 days, completing a spectacular job on the repairs. I have dealt with other body shops in the valley that do not come close to the level of professionalism that I experienced at Tesla's body shop. Don't take your Tesla anywhere else. read more
