Some researching and i found Debra and Jesse with Mountainside Glass. Debra handled the insurance claim for me so I literally had to do nothing on my end. And both Debra and Jesse reassured me that they would take good care of me. While Jesse was there, the hubby asked about a chip in his windshield and Jesse took care of that since he was at the house anyway. Chip repair was pretty reasonably priced. From the first call last Monday with Debra to Jesse performing the replacement 2 days later, it was nothing short of a great experience.

I requested a quote online over the weekend and received a call Monday morning. John set me up with an appointment and ordered the windshield then and there. What was the most helpful that he called my insurer while I was on the phone with him. My insurer told me that the crack had to be larger than a silver dollar to cover replacement. They went on to say that Blue Chip was not a partner of their insurance company. I asked the insurer if that meant that they wouldn't cover the windshield if Blue Chip replaced it. John promptly jumped in and told me that the windshield would be covered 100%, but that the warranty would be covered by Blue Chip rather than my insurer. I appreciated the clarification. He told me that there would be zero out of pocket cost to me. The insurer told me that the repair would be covered and John did the rest (which was literally everything). Blue Chip replaced the windshield right in my driveway, again, at no cost to me. The service tech, Dan, was on-time and went out of his way to answer my questions, like calibration of the camera. Since my vehicle was newer, it had a camera for emergency braking and adaptive cruise control, which required calibration by an authorized tech when the windshield was replaced. Blue Chip took care of that as well. Dan showed me where the camera was mounted and why it needed to be calibrated with the windshield change. Dan was professional, competent, fast and friendly. In the end, I got a shiny new windshield installed by professionals at no cost to me. I have found my permanent glass company!

They wanted me to come back a THIRD time to have one of their "better" installers do the work, but I accepted a refund and sincere apology instead. The first time I was in, the installer soaked my armrest so badly it made my shirt wet and caused damage to the arm rest material. A different company had zero problems and took a fraction of the time at a lower cost. I personally asked the installer for the different company if there was anything difficult and he looked at me confused. He said there was no problem tinting the windshield. Therefore, I feel like Xclusive lied to me and was using subpar installers. The only positive thing to share is that the tint on my side and back windows came out nicely.

I was given a 12-4 time block for them to come out and was told I would receive a call when they were on their way. 4 came and no one had called me yet, so I called the office and she took care of it immediately calling the person that was supposed to be here. I was a little disappointed that no one showed up in the time window but I am happy with how well they handled it. He ended up showing up about 15 minutes later. He came and fixed it super fast though. Seriously, it only took 5 minutes. The repair looks great and he cleaned my front windshield inside and out before he left. I bought the Yelp deal, so it was even cheaper than the original cheap quote I received. I'm happy.

The issue is they started calling me again a few months later and never stopped. Text and calls. Look man, it's a windshield. I'll call you when I need you. This is not really a thing you need to call me about every few weeks or so. I asked multiple times to be taken off the list. I'll call you. You don't need to call me. Well, one of the times they told me they'd "try" to take me off the list. I said no, I asked you explicitly to take me off the list. Do NOT call me. Well, that still hasn't worked. Still getting texts. I will never use this company again. Making a nuisance of yourselves, ignoring customer requests, and not following regulations for contacts is not good business. I would strongly advise against "The Auto Glass Co." or Excellent Auto Glass or whatever they're calling themselves today.

Odd but it is what it is. About three weeks later, I took my car in and six hours later we called and they stated they had issues with calibrating the car. My car wasn't ready until closing when I picked up my NEW 2025 Honda Pilot above the mirror was nothing but grimy handprints where they had to disconnect my camera. Very disappointing this happened to a brand new car will not use this location again.

I submitted my info and Will (the owner) got back to me the same day. He gave me a call and even helped get connected with my insurance to submit a claim. It was so simple and it was all done in 10 minutes! He asked my availability and sent his techs out to my house when it was convenient for me. They even have an in-house technician who can calibrate the new windshield (which was required per my insurance) to ensure safety on the road. I had another cracked windshield less than a month later. I texted Will and he got right back to me and I got it replaced and calibrated again all fully covered by my insurance. All in all, I spent $0 and had an amazing experience. I've been so impressed by Will and ProView's communication, kindness and professionalism. I will continue using them for all windshield needs in the future and would recommend to anyone in need.
