Roger picked us up at my hotel right on time. We drove directly to our first winery. The day went exactly as planned. Lunch, included, was superb. All three wineries we visited were perfect choices! The day, a birthday gift adventure for friends, went off without a hitch! We were regaled with information about the geography, history and culture of the area. I cannot say enough about this tour. I totally would do it again...and will!

I had the pleasure of touring The Willamette Valley with Tesla Custom Winery Tours. Going into the trip I had no knowledge of where to go or even begin. Karen and Roger curated an unbelievable day for me. The experience was five star white glove service beginning to end. From planning and booking my tour, to the pickup - drop off and all that was in between (lunch, laughs, wine and a lot of wonderful knowledge) I put this at the top wine experience I have ever had. I highly recommend this tour as a must for anyone looking to explore the Willamette Valley (solo to a family trip). Thank you Karen and Roger!

Roger and Tesla Custom Winery Tours did a great job. We had a group of 14, varied wine experience from brand new to members of multiple wine clubs. Roger was able to schedule three different styles (high-end, boutique, and small private) to ensure there was something for everyone. We traveled in the Sprinter Van, which was comfortable and had plenty of space even with all the wine we bought. The lunch was excellent, high-quality presentation and generous Charcuterie Board. It was worth the extra fee and so much better than the obligatory box lunch other tours serve. I was in charge of organizing the group and ultimately responsible for the experience, and Tesla Custom Winery Tours made me look good. Thank You, Roger!

We found Roger online and couldn't resist splurging for a day visiting wineries being driven around in an oh-so cool Tesla SUV. Roger picked us up at 10 at our hotel in the wine country and we spent the day visiting 4 boutique wineries. Roger was great working with me up front to tailor the stops to our desire to visit small, artisanal places and avoid the big mass market brands and corporate empires that seem to snatch up all the little gems. Our first stop was Alexana where we learned about the 22 soil types found in the region while savoring the wines and the view from their stylish and sleek hilltop estate. Next we were off to Blakeslee Estate where we tasted their just released Rose and several other notable wines including their unique white Pinot. Here Roger also laid out a lavish spread of meats and cheeses along with sandwich fixings for a perfect picnic lunch by the infinity pool. After lunch we headed off to tiny Natalie Wines where we met owner/vintner/farmer/tasting room host Boyd and tried his delicious reds including merlot and Cabernet. To cap off the day we indulged in a seated prestige tasting at Domaine Serene and sampled their highly acclaimed products. While not a requirement, we bought wine at each stop which in some cases waived the tasting fees which were ($15-$40 pp at each winery). Of great fun was riding around in the rocket-ship on wheels and marveling at the technology, speed and elegance of the Tesla SUV (only $125,000!). Roger was a gracious and knowledgeable host and we got a lot from the tour. While not cheap, it was a very memorable day. Highly recommended

Please book them! I picked this tour because of the great prices plus I love Tesla's. We didn't get the Tesla cause it was booked but we got a huge Mercedes Sprinter van which was super convenient for my family and I to get in and out of. There were 6 of us. We had Matt takes us to 3 hand selected wineries. I was overwhelmed by number of wineries in The Willamette Valley, I wouldn't have known how to pick which ones to visit. He picked out 3 amazing wineries. We LOVED all 3. Matt was super attentive and kept us on schedule but never in a pushy way. He was super knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the area and the wineries. We LOVED the convenience and the excellent service. Because we were celebrating my sister and I birthday, he gave a us chocolate cake with our sandwich/charcuterie board and it tasted amazing with the Cabernet were drinking! Had such a great day!

We had a wonderful time on this tour! There were 8 of us and we booked 4 wineries with Roger as our guide. He did a perfect job from being informative, making our winery reservations, private tasting rooms, and providing a nice history of all the wineries we visited. We absolutely loved all of them and it was a perfect day of tasting. The lunch was perfect mix of cheese, salami, olives, and cold cuts to pair with our tastings. He also provided a cake for my friends birthday, which was a perfect touch! All the wineries we visited knew Roger and were very accommodating to our group. Would definitely recommend this tour!

This wine tour was amazing from beginning to end. Roger and Sarah were very detailed oriented and kept in communication with us about the tour throughout the planning process. Sarah was very knowledgeable about wine and the Willamette Valley region and accommodated to our personalities. I would take this exact same tour next time I come to Oregon.

    Our delicious lunch!

He was very attentive and wanted to get a vibe for what the group (6 women) wanted and enjoys in life - all so HE could plan 2 amazing days at wineries in the greater Portland area. After the chat, we netted out on two full days (8 hrs each day. We survived by the way.) in June. He picked us up right at our Airbnb (Pearl) in a comfortable van with lots of room and already had the jams playing (his 90s/00s playlist is ON POINT). For the first day, we went out to the Mt. Hood area which was beyond beautiful (don't think I've ever seen a winery with a majestic mountain as a back drop). I highly recommend this route as it has more of a mom & pop feeling than other major wine areas I've visited (especially if you can do multiple days in this region). You also get a wider range of varietals vs. Willamette (not knocking W.V. AT ALL as I'm a Pinot Noir gal). Cedric completely planned the entire day and we hit up 4 different wineries and none disappointed. He also grabbed us lunch which was fantastic. The drive is beautiful along the Colombia River. Dropped off at our place in the Pearl. Day 2 (the following day) we hit up the famous Willamette Valley. We had a couple last minute requests (in terms of must-have wineries) that Cedric completely accommodated and he re-routed our day to ensure we hit the best of the best. He worked his magic and we were able to visit FIVE (!), including the last stop where we chatted with the owner/winemaker while playing bocce ball (Utopia wines). It was a fantastic day. We visited some big players like Domaine Serene (YES) and Stoller (great for a picnic lunch), but also some smaller but beautiful wineries like Colene Clemens (top of hill overlooking valley) and Vista Hills (think tree house vibes). Cedric promised a magical day and he delivered. This was by far my favorite wine tour experience and I've done a lot of them across the country/world. Cedric was the difference maker. He's a fantastic and hilarious host and truly makes the experience one to remember. His company has other drivers as well and I imagine they are of the same breed as Mr. Cedric, so no matter who you get, you won't be disappointed!!

Our party of four spent the day with A Great Oregon Wine Tour, and it set a new standard. Wayne,…read morethe owner, built our itinerary around a specific request. I wanted at least one winery pouring Sauvignon Blanc in a valley dominated by Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. He found Balsall Creek, then rounded out the day with Ridgecrest and Compris. All three were off the beaten path. No crowded tasting rooms, no tour bus circuit. Just remarkable wines and winemakers with stories to tell. Our guide Robert is a master sommelier, and it showed all day. My wife and I have tasted extensively in the Russian River Valley and Bourgogne, and Robert drew sharp comparisons between all three regions. He walked us through the Willamette's geologic history, from the Missoula Floods to the volcanic and marine sedimentary soils that define its AVAs, and connected it all to what was in our glasses. It was a full day of wine education disguised as a tasting tour. The picnic lunches, made by Wayne and his wife, were a highlight of their own. The turkey sandwich with apple and cucumber drew raves from the table. My vegan lettuce wrap was every bit as good. These were not afterthought box lunches. Our group of four had a roomy van to ourselves, which kept the whole day comfortable and unhurried. If you want a Willamette Valley experience beyond the usual stops, book with Wayne and ask for Robert.
