Always my Go-To charging station. Conveniently located in the heart of Carlsbad and close to shops across the street, this charging station is always available. There are two charging stations downstairs and the rest is up the hill. The parking area is large and it is located by the Equinox Fitness building.

Pros: 1. Good availability of chargers when I went 2. Peaceful and quiet - no traffic here Cons: 1. Not the fast 250 kw charger - only 72kw 2. No amenities nearby to pass the time Notes: 1. Near the Equinox 2. Two handicapped spots on the bottom, and the rest are up the hill.

Actual rating 4.5. I'm very happy that a city as big as San Diego now has more than 1 supercharging station that services the entire city. Now that Tesla usage is becoming more widespread in the city, there's been a dire need for multiple charing stations just so the Qualcomm line won't be super crazy constantly. While the most convenient supercharging station is still Qualcomm due to its proximity to my work, this particular station will be my go-to should my family (or myself) take road trips. Unlike Qualcomm the service is not free, but I'll happily pay this considering the following: - 26 total charging stations. Keep in mind that there is NO LINE as the stalls are functional and there's enough stalls for people to use. Maybe this is because nobody knows about this station yet? (I'm the one that put the business listing up as well as the FTR). - Up to 72 kW charging capacity at $0.28/kWh. - While the majority of the stalls are on the upper level and are quickly accessible by stairs, there are two stalls that are ADA friendly and are marked as such. - The nearest bathrooms are the La Costa Wine Company on the same complex and the Starbucks across the street. - Places to eat are mainly across the street as the complex that the charging station resides is mainly dead. Hopefully with the installation of this supercharging station this should be an impetus to finally redevelop the Beacon. The area around the station looks pretty sad and is devoid of any activity.

I was very very thankful for this Musk given spot only a few exits away from my friends place in Oceanside. Every time I look them up on my dash, they usually have at least 10 chargers available. I slid in here earlier this afternoon and would've been towed out by AAA if I had to wait even a few minutes. Thanks Tesla for expanding your Supercharger network between OC + SD, makes commuting down South just that much easier!!

Great availability of chargers. This one was a little slower charging but the time goes by fast. I have my own charger at home but wanted to use my free 1000 miles of supercharging I got from a referral to a friend. It's about 8 minutes from my house so this is a convenient location. There's a Starbucks and Broken Yolk across the street and a Gelson's as well. I'm charging on Christmas morning and there's only 2 other Tesla's here. The 5 freeway is only 2 miles away so after charging I'm off to celebrate with my family!

The pros: lots of superchargers and fairly empty on a Saturday. The cons : superchargers are tucked away in a desolate area and it was a good thing I was with my husband because if I were charging there alone I would definitely feel unsafe. I would never go there as a woman alone at night. The restroom, by the way, is a joke! It is hard to find and down a dark long hallway that smells like mothballs. There were ants inside the bathroom and the faucet didn't work but thank God someone put up a sign with an illustration on how to Jimmy rig it so that you can actually wash your hands and get the water to come out. Come on Elon, are you for real? This does not live up to the Tesla brand. It's about as rinky dink as the distribution center. Just my $0.02.

    Lots of chargers.

Plenty of chargers here, but not that fast. The shopping center is super dead though. The only thing open there was a wine bar.

This was our first time using a supercharger even though we've owned the car for over 1 year. Very convenient and easy to use.

Good place for emergency charge other than that one of the worse places to charge. You'll get 72 kW if you're lucky. No restrooms.

The hotel is very kid friendly with many pools, water slides, splash pad, and fun kids activities. My toddler was always busy and doing something without complaining!! They also offer free kids activities such as necklace making, ice cream scoops, and much more. The staff is very hospitable and makes sure you have everything you need from the moment you arrive. They are very attentive, respectful, and welcoming. They truly make you feel like you're at home. Our room was located in the newly remodeled villas section, which had its own private pool and jacuzzi. It is away from the main pool area, which was much more quiet and more relaxing. They also have an adult pool in the main pool area, which had a view overlooking the breathtaking golf course. Breakfast at The Vue was pretty solid. The food at the main pool was OK, but the food at the adult pool was even better. Overall, I really recommend this resort if you have kids. It has everything you need and you don't really need to leave the property. Thank you for an unforgettable experience. We will be back!

Something big for me when being at a hotel or a resort is feeling comfortable AND welcomed. We went during 4th of July where just for breakfast one morning, they had 600 guests! Although the resort was packed, never once did it feel over crowded. Every place we went, I felt like our presence was appreciated. We also never had to wait to be seated even without reservations. This place really nailed their hospitality. every detail was well thought out! So why would I recommend this for families? For many reasons. Kids are welcomed almost everywhere! They hosted events from morning to sunset during the 4th of July weekend we went. Kids eat FREE all summer for breakfast and lunch (meals before 5) at a few of their restaurants. Then I believe it's half off for dinner! Food was great everywhere we went. Our daughter was too little for most of the events and their bigger kid pools + splash pad, but we did see they have a kids slide! She did love all the places she could run around and their complimentary tote bag! And for the staff- absolutely everyone was so kind, helpful & very welcoming. Most staff members went above and beyond for us. Servers- Jenna was fantastic. Sandra as well! I believe we had an Emma too. We did stay in the Villas by the front entrance. Our rooms were excellent. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Next time, we want to go with friends and family! Lastly- I hear it's near Legoland! We went to the Safari Park and that was a 30 minute, easy drive away. Can't wait to be back. I don't golf so I can't say much about that except for the views being absolutely stunning.

We went back-and-forth with if we wanted to stay there and pay that cost, or if we should stay at another local hotel for our visit. We are glad that we stayed at the hotel. Though the price is high, they provide a lot of great entertainment and things for the children to do right within the hotel. Also, the theming for the hotel is so cool for kids. We loved that there were two separated spaces for adults and kids. We ate at the hotel as well for breakfast and dinner. The food was good enough. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad at all.

As you are driving, the main line turns into two lanes, and then three, and then multiple, with nobody directing traffic--so of course you have a-holes speeding from the back of the line to cut in front when a new lane opens. Actual parking was surprisingly open for the shitshow line you have deal with to get there. Food Absolutely disgusting. I ordered "summer special" BBQ burger for $22 and had to choke down every bite(burgers are typically the one safe menu item I can order if I'm unsure of quality--not here!). Luckily I was able to at least wash that down with a $15 12 oz beer--which took me a good 20 minutes to figure out how/where to buy. My gf order Udon noodles that was served in so much sauce that it looked like ramen soup. They topped it with steamed shredded chicken that looked like cat food. She also ordered a water bottle for $7 that they failed to bring out to her, and when she went to go get it, they gave her a warm one that had been sitting out when she specifically asked for a cold one--mind you it's an 81 degree day and the air conditioning isn't working inside the cafe area. Rides If I had to do it again, I'd get the fast pass, but the day was already half over after two rides. We were halfway through the first line when we downloaded the app and looked at the wait time, which was 65 minutes, so we waited it out for this ride that lasted two minutes. Not wanting to face the same fate, we went to a ride that the app said only had a 15 minute wait--we ended up waiting another hour. Water Park Feeling majorly let down by everything else so far, we figured we'd try to make the best of the day and spend the afternoon at the water park. So we waited in line, just to be told it's an extra $30 per person to get in. At this point I started laughing to myself in disbelief, unsure of how this place remains open. There is a smaller splash pad by Lego Movie World, that we went to instead, and kids were running and slipping and falling everywhere. They need to add some sort of traction to the ground--I can believe they haven't had a lawsuit from a kid cracking their head open yet. Direction Staffing is rude and clearly inadequate. Nobody seemed to want to be bothered with questions, and nobody had answers anyways. There are not enough directional signs, I had to track down an employee to ask where a restroom was, and had to download the app/map for everything else. Final Verdict I will never come back here. I'd rather spend my time and money at the Zoo or go the extra mile for Disney. I actually look forward to this place going out of business. I thought robbery was illegal.
