The restrooms? Absolutely spotless--honestly better than some hotels I've stayed in. There were green and red lights on the outside of each stall to let you know which stalls were available and which were occupied. The lines moved very quickly. That alone makes it worth the stop when you're traveling with kids. Now, for my grandson, this place was like walking into a wonderland. His eyes lit up the second we walked in. Between the rows of snacks, the huge drink stations, and all the fun Buc-ee's merchandise, he didn't know where to look first. He was especially fascinated with the Toy section there were so many to chose from. It was a Saturday so this place was very busy. I heard Al Roker from the Today show praise the brisket sandwiches. I also wanted one but the wait was too long. We ended up grabbing some treats--beaver nuggets (of course!), 3 slushies,beef jerkey, candy bars, chocolate covered pretzels, and a couple of souvenirs magnets, t-shirts, Buc-ees water bottle and a Buc-ees tumbler he insisted we "had to have." I appreciated that there were plenty of options, whether you want something indulgent or a quick, decent meal on the go. What really stood out to me was how easy everything felt, even with a little curious little boy in tow. Plenty of space, clear layout, and friendly staff who didn't seem bothered by all of the people shopping. All in all, Buc-ee's in Florence isn't just a gas stop--it's the ultimate shopping experience. You must go atleast once in your lifetime! If you're traveling with grandkids, plan a little extra time. There are multiple tire dealerships right around there, none open on a Sunday.

This is located right outside a mall food court, and there has been many non-Tesla cars parked in the stalls, probably to visit the mall. Came here today and there were lines on the ground and signs to indicate that the spots are only for electric vehicle charging. Awesome addition and plenty of normal spots all around for others to use.

So stopped here to charge up long enough to get back to Raleigh. Typical spot, hardly anyone here on a Sunday morning around lunch time. The Cracker Barrel is just across the road was packed I guess with the post-church crowed. Probably the busiest I've ever seen in a cracker barrell could barely make it through the merch to get in line for a table there were so many people milling about. There is also a Hotel nearby as well. The supercharger we picked at was working fine, charged up, and moved on.

Malls in general are dying, but on the day I visited- a few days before Christmas- it was packed! The traffic from I-95 helps too- if you are traveling through SC and need shopping, this Florence exit is the place to stop. Travelers staying in hotels also have store options (Belk, Best Buy, Dick's Sporting Goods) to buy whatever they may have forgotten or need. While Target isn't a mall anchor, it is just a short walk across the Belk parking lot. A lot of the typical mall stores I liked here have closed- Victoria's Secret, Express, Aeropostale. A lot of the newer mall stores are not my style but seem to be doing well for the demographics of this area. The Primo Pizza in the food court closed, but it still has Chick-Fil-A, Chinese Food, Charley's, and plenty of other options just down the road. What used to be JC Penney when I was growing up has been replaced with a huge arcade. I didn't go inside, but it's great that the mall has a place for folks to hang out, have fun, and be together, fostering friendships without necessarily buying stuff.
