(Hubby has a hard time when it comes to parallel parking. Being from the Bay Area, that's a way of life for us!) Checked out the following stores: Lush, the Lego store, Macy's, Dillard's, Nordstrom Rack, & Rack Room Shoes. It is a walking-centered shopping center, but some drivers are not letting peds walk in the designated crosswalks. Shame. (In Cali, if you don't give right of way to the peds, you get a ticket!) The shade is nice. So it wasn't so bad. We definitely got a lot of steps in. We also walked to the water feature, that we remember our son being obssessed with, when he was a wee one.

I did come across a few clothing stores I genuinely enjoyed, which isn't always easy to find. The landscaping is beautifully done. The greenery, open spaces, and overall layout give it a polished, inviting feel. It's clearly been designed to create an experience, not just a place to shop. The information booth is well positioned and generally helpful, although I was surprised they couldn't direct me to something as simple as a fresh green drink. I later found what I was looking for at True Food Kitchen, which seems like a fairly obvious recommendation in a center like this. My one real issue is the sheer size of the property. It's expansive... more of a campus than a traditional shopping center. What starts off as a pleasant stroll can quickly turn into a long trek, especially if you're not prepared. Comfortable shoes are not optional here. By the end of it, I found myself more tired than I expected. It's a beautiful place, but the scale can work against you if you're trying to cover a lot of ground in one visit.

We found the service at this property to be good and everyone was very attentive. It was also nice that the Summerlin shopping area was a 5 minute Uber away. We made appointments at the spa for body treatments and massages and the service was amazing. I had surgery shortly before this trip and the massage therapist made adjustments I needed without a problem. I also liked that the spa automatically added a 20% gratuity to services so I didn't have to think about that. I would highly recommend this hotel/resort if you are looking for a Vegas experience that is a little more low key, but still allows you to have the gambling, dining and shopping experience.

After almost 20 minutes, I gave up and was about to walk to the bar myself when I noticed Alicia taking an order behind our chairs, so I asked if that was her section. She said yes and told us she'd be with us shortly. Another 15 minutes passed... and nothing. When she finally came by, she seemed rushed, asked if we were ready to order, and there was zero introduction, no friendliness, no menu suggestions, nothing that made us feel welcomed. I actually had to get her name off the check because that was somehow the one thing she managed to come back quickly for multiple times. The service here is honestly terrible. I work in the industry myself, so I understand busy days and hard work, but this wasn't that. I watched guests literally chasing down servers all day. The staff here acts like customers are inconveniencing them by wanting service. No personality, no attentiveness, no effort to create an enjoyable experience. It's confusing because good pool service is exactly how you make money in this industry. At this point, I think I'll spend my money at another pool in Vegas where guests actually feel welcomed.

First time at this Tesla Supercharger location. It is not a new location, just a minor detour for…read moreme, but I traveled here to get charged up for the week to access the current best charging rate on the nearby Tesla Supercharger for this time of day ($0.30/kWh 11pm - 8am). The price is $0.54 per KWh for the rest of the day. This 8-Supercharger location is adjacent to a Burger King and El Pollo Loco, with Del Taco is a few minutes walk away, and a Walmart Superstore is at the far end of the parking lot. Cafe Rio is across the street. So plenty of fast food options near this location. The location is clean, feels safe (even at the dead of night, fairly well-lit (on the Burger King side), not too cramp to navigate and back into the individual stalls. Overall a solid Tesla Supercharger location. But I will only come here when the charging fee makes sense. 4/5
