We had recently gone to Valvoline to get my oil changed and was informed that I needed a new battery. So, I stopped at AutoZone to confirm. Doug tested my battery to check if it needed to be replaced (which it did) and he helped me pick out a new one - even explaining the difference of pricing and features. We greatly appreciate his patience with us and willingness to give as much details as he did. He was kind, spoke clearly and didn't make us feel silly for not knowing much about cars. I went to this AutoZone after another location told me they couldn't replace the bulb in my headlight. I really love this location. I came here the last time I needed a bulb and they were great. Myra the manager is amazing and also Edward for replacing the bulb for me even though it took a little while. Everyone there is just in a good mood and eager to help you. We appreciated his attentiveness to our problem as well as his patience with a slow and non-Responsive system and faulty equipment/broken cords which hopefully management will look at for their very helpful employees. Went here and was pointed to the wrong direction. On my dash, a symbol of a battery appeared so I went down to this autozone. Wanted a guy to test the battery and alternator, he said the battery was low voltage. Then he pointed at my *brand new* battery terminals and said that "coloured terminals cause issues" and tried to sell me terminals. Turns out, the alternator needed a rebuild. I cannot believe the incompetence from that employee. He wore a gray jacket and black uniform so I assume he was a higher rank than the regular associates. He should at least know his left and rights before even touching a car! read more

Diego was awesome! I was at a client's home, readying to leave, and the familiar wrowrrr sounded upon starting. During my busy day, I was not happy with the prospect of not knowing if, at my next stop, my original, 2013 battery would juice 'er up, so I looked up AutoZone, a tried and true company for problem-solving just like this. I stopped at the N Rainbow location, and there was one Tech at the register with 8 people ahead of me and one out in the parking lot assisting another customer...so I started my car (successfully, thank goodness!) and headed down to this S Rainbow location. No Customers There - whew! Within 20 minutes, DIEGO helped me with testing my battery (to be sure that was the problem) and replacing it...and I was on my way! Diego was attentive, skilled, quick, and pleasant - could not have asked for a better experience. And, of course: as 5-Star experiences require, in anticipation he asked, since I have a vehicle with "over 50,000 miles" on it, if my engine was protected with a gasoline additive that they had on sale (2-for-1) - so I invested 'just a little' more in my vehicle today, based on his recommendation. Take my advice and if you have questions don't rely on any employee here to give you the right item. I was being helped by a manager and still was directed to the wrong filter. That was after he inspected the current one under my hood!! Also returning to pick up a battery within two hours, the guy working with my friend had totally forgotten who he was. Amazing! My battery was dying. Not only did the guy (I believe his name was Adam) check my battery for me, but he also showed me how a lot of mechanics might try to screw me over by setting the battery tester incorrectly so that it would show a bad battery even if it was a good battery. Wow! Thank you! Secondly, I expected to have to buy a new battery. He double checked for me and determined that we bought that battery at another Auto Zone and it was still covered under warranty! Free battery! To top it off, he installed the new battery for me and attached a temporary charger to the vehicle to make sure it didn't lose a charge, as my vehicle might have gone all wiggy if it was without power for too long. I told him, and I was being 100% honest, that if I carried cash, I would've given him a tip! He said it wasn't necessary and that our family has done enough with my husband being military.
