Bonus points for having delicious eats all under one roof- Burger King, Popeyes, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, and Subway. TA Travel Center is grand in size, the establishment is extremely roomy, things were organized, and while most shelves and aisles were stocked, the chips department was bare as a bone. Snacks are plentiful whether you are in need of just deliciously processed foods or healthier options. The restrooms are tidy and have restrooms on both ends of the building- that leaves for less wait times and quicker visits going in and out. The sales clerk was friendly, prompt, and the pricing is fair. 5 stars, I wouldn't hesitate to come back again.

CONS: Hands down, Love's & Flying J Gas / Truck stops are far superior to TA Travel Centers any day of the week. TA simply feels old and outdated. The bathrooms are old, the coffee machines are old, and the corporate owners are not doing anything to upgrade the facilities. There have been times when the Men's / Women's bathrooms have been closed for cleaning maintenance DURING PEAK BUSINESS HOURS. Even though there are additional bathrooms, (albeit much smaller) on the premises, if a charter bus unloads a large group of passengers at this location during a peak hour maintenance break, YOU HAVE A DISASTER. C'mon management, it's a 24 HOUR FACILITY !!! Do the cleaning maintenance during slow traffic periods !!! There are many other gas stations at the East & West Laval Road Exits. (With TA Travel being on the East side.). But for some inexplicable reason, there seems to be a lot of flies at this location. So if you open your car or truck door for an extended period of time, you're sure to get flies in your cabin. I have never experienced this problem at other locations at Laval Road. There must be some sanitation issues there that are causing the flies to congregate there in force. PROS: HUGE parking lot. So if you want to walk your dog, or simply relax in your car for awhile, you're sure to find a spot which is quiet and no one will bother you. There is security on the property. (Although the same security company covers other establishments on Laval Road.) There are several food options ri. (Burger Thing, Taco Belly, Pizza the Hutt and Papi Eyes Louisiana Chicken, not mention the make it yourself hot dogs inside the TA facility.)

However, the column moved loosely, and the car would not go into gear. Upon my description over the phone, Lebec knew exactly what was wrong, and said he would be right there approx (30-45mins faster, and cheaper then tow). I had called some other mechanics who said they were too busy, didn't want to go, or told me they would help me in the morning. Lebec roadside managed to patch us up well enough to get us back to work on the road. We will see another mechanic for the needed part in the morning as He told us to. But thats the least of it. I crawled under the trailer to find the frame had been broke behind the axles. A new frame was sleeved inside the original then bubble gum welded back together. Hence no flooring in the back half. Cross members had been made for some odd reason, and poorly welded in place. The front cross member had broke free and was only 2in off the ground. Then a fresh coat of rattle can black paint to cover it all and make it look new. This guy is a total scammer. The spray paint was still wet when we got there. Dont buy anything from this guy. I wasted 100$ in fuel based on this guys word. He has a guy working there just to put a spit shine on them before they go on the internet. Steer clear, i wish i could put negative stars for this place. I had to put one star just to post it.

Luckily we found Golden State Tires still open and I called to ask for a tire patch quote and drove over immediately. We were quickly taken care of by Tony. He popped my tire off and told me that he recommends a new tire because he cannot guarantee the patch will be able to fix the hole. (Only because the nail was HUGE). He went and got the price of the new tire and was able to switch out the old one in the span of 10 mins. We were back on the road and overall took less than 20 minutes. I'm assuming we got lucky as they were closing in an hour. My new tire was slightly over inflated so it threw off some of my car sensors but we were able to deflate it when we got home and reset it ourselves. I'm grateful for Golden State Tires and Tony's expertise!!

We had two radiator hose clamps (under the drive shaft) break at the same time. We were in a very sketchy place and wanted to be towed back to their shop. They use a GPS app to ping where you are, which is kinda cool. We were out there same day for a very reasonable price (especially for the middle of nowhere mountain town.) Everyone in the shop was very friendly including the 3rd generation owner, Tyler. Expert towing, knowledgeable mechanics and friendly conversation. They made our bad day better and got us rolling down the road.
