What's up: Charging up here as we make our way back down to California. Parking: There are two sides to charge from. When entering the area, you can either take the left or right side to access the chargers. There are rear in and 1 head in charger (located on the left side near the Courtyard Marriott). Environment: Not too busy when we arrived, but when we left, the place was packed! There are trash cans available nearby. The area is mostly surrounded by hotels, but there's also several food options nearby with a little bit of walking. Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. The area was clean and there are trash cans available. Pretty close to freeway entrance/exit. Sometimes traffic can get heavy around Springfield so prepare for that. Walking distance to McDonald's. Further walk across street to more fast food options. Hop Valley Brewery is walking distance for a sit down meal and I've always enjoyed their food and brew. I think there's five or six stalls. It's behind a hotel so not sure of the safety aspect at night but there's lots of commerce surrounding the chargers. read more

The Springfield Supercharger is conveniently located next to several hotels and restaurants/convenience stores. There are two banks of Superchargers that are in two separate parking lots with two entrances that do not connect that and back up to one another. On arrival there were plenty of available chargers. Tip: As always, if there are multiple open charging stalls, please avoid parking directly next to another vehicle to ensure charging speeds remain as high as possible. read more

The Tesla chargers are located towards the end of the holiday inn express parking lot and behind the outback steakhouse. This is an excellent location to charge your car for people who stay at the nearby hotels such as the holiday in express or the comfort inn suites because they are walking distance to these chargers. The location is also good because you can walk over to different restaurants or get your takeout on the way and then eat it while you charge your car. Because the chargers are past the hotel towards the back and behind the outback they are a little bit difficult to find when you first arrive. The location is safe. read more

Tons of stalls on two sides. Close to the freeway. Clean area and safe. Located in Holiday Inn lot, which means not a lot of bathroom options but I was able to use the lobby restroom at the adjacent Courtyard. Speeds were approx 60kW/195 Mi per hour so not amazing but I've seen worse at a busy charger. read more

I plan my road trips around this Supercharger. Right off I-5 it's convenient, and a big plus you can use restroom of the hotel who's parking lot the Superchargers are located within. Perfect for road trips! read more

Extremely slow charging. Probably one of the slowest. Takes an hour to charge for us to go to the next charger. The hotel where it is parked does not allow you to use the restrooms. So people are pissing on the sides of chargers. These are the most annoying areas where we are forced to charge while traveling through. Try to avoid if possible. read more

This location was pretty full up but we still charged quickly. We were able to walk to many places for eating options (but we had preordered wraps from Cafe Yumm, an 8 min walk, which were great). Holiday inn Express convenient and friendly for restroom. read more

The supercharger is good. There is no public restroom really close by. Holiday inn express used to let one use it but now they have stopped

Not only is this one of the creepiest places to charge your car, the Holiday Inn Express where it is located will not allow you to use their restroom and the staff was extremely rude. Avoid at all costs. read more

16 stalls, at two different hotels. Surrounded by restaurants and shopping. There are countless restaurants within walking distance but make sure to have your jacket handy. It's chilly here in the winter and the walk is easy but it's more than a few steps. read more

Almost 1/2 of the chargers are not working. The whole side by Holiday Inn is dead. I stopped working about 5 minuets after I plugged in.

Surrounded by hotels but within walking distance of outback and elmer's to name a few. Eight stations. The cones are just to keep other cars from parking there. It seems tesla needs to have a tow away number for when other cars driver can't read or just don't care. read more

Eight spots wide open when we arrived midday on a Thursday. The spots are in the back of the Holiday Inn parking lot. Short walk to a Denny's, a McD's and localish brew pub and a couple convenience stores. If you are staying over the night - walking distance to not only H Inn, but also Courtyard and Comfort Suites. read more
