My husband and I recently stayed at The Rittenhouse Hotel and unfortunately left very disappointed…read more Our experience started poorly when we arrived for our guaranteed 3:00 PM check-in and were told our room was not ready. The front desk offered little assistance and essentially told us there was nothing they could do. Strangely, just minutes later they were suddenly able to find us a room and offered a suite upgrade, although that room was not yet available. Around 3:30 PM we were finally given access to a room, only to discover that it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The couch was pulled out into a bed, drawers were left open, and the room looked as though a previous guest was still occupying it or housekeeping had not finished preparing it. The one bright spot in our experience was a very kind and attentive bellman. He immediately recognized our frustration, contacted the front desk on our behalf, and within minutes our suite upgrade was ready. What had previously seemed impossible was suddenly resolved in less than ten minutes. He was by far the most helpful member of the staff we encountered during our stay. While the suite was certainly nicer, the hotel itself feels dated. The age of the property is evident throughout the rooms, and in our opinion, it does not live up to its reputation as a five-star luxury hotel. We would rate it closer to a four-star property, perhaps even a 3.5-star experience based on the service, room quality, and overall operation. Adding to our disappointment, we dined at Lacroix and found the food to be well below what we would expect from a hotel of this caliber and price point. The delays and room issues created unnecessary stress, especially since we had dinner reservations at 4:30 PM and were already pressed for time. For the rates charged by The Rittenhouse, we expected a seamless luxury experience and received anything but. Overall, we were disappointed with both the service and the quality of the property. We will not be returning and would choose the Four Seasons for future visits to Philadelphia. At this price point, there are simply better options available.

It was a pleasure working with Tony, Mike, and Andrew. Tony was incredibly helpful from day one,…read moreguiding me through the entire solar project and answering all of my questions promptly. The installation team was professional, courteous, and kept me informed throughout every stage of the project. Overall, the experience was smooth and exceeded my expectations. I'm so satisfied with their work that I'm already working with Public Service Solar on another small project. I highly recommend them to anyone considering solar/roofing projects.

We had such an excellent experience with Public Service Solar…read more I started my process with EnergySage and wound up with 4 bids. They were all over the map, but I looked up all the companies, had zoom calls with three of them, and then narrowed it down to Public Service Solar and Infinity Energy. I went with Public Service because they were able to get the job done quickly, and because they had a roofing team as part of their business. They also had the best warranties on everything (roof, work, solar gear). I was also impressed that many of my calls had me talking to the owner/founder of the company, not a lower-level desk jockey. In the end Public Service outperformed all their promises. They got the permits lightning fast, did my roof in a day, and solar install in a 2nd day. The were super professional throughout the process, including placing 2 or 3 follow up calls to make sure everything was satisfactory. They managed the mess of paperwork with the state of NJ to get enrolled in all incentive programs, and one year on, we're saving a ton of money and selling excess production back to the grid. It's proven to be a great financial decision already. Truly I have not had many experiences with major contractors that have been as painless, and I have recommended them personally to several friends and colleagues when they ask me about or solar install.
