My first experience with Teso was through the online shop in my quest to find a very specific drink I enjoyed on vacation in Japan. Shipping products from New York of course was very expensive so I was excited to hear of it's arrival in Arizona. Although the Tea I'm looking for isn't at this location, I'm still very glad to have the many other Japanese and Asian products available. I've been twice and must have got lucky since lines weren't an issue. I like how bright the lighting is in store to make up for the condensed aisles. There's a wide range of products available such as Gundam, snacks, drinks, kitchen gadgets, face and health hygiene to name a few of what I was most interested in. Prices can range to very affordable and great value to quite expensive but also fair for the quality of the product. Overall, even if a product is "cheap" there are no disappointments in what I receive but possibly surprised at how much better it is. After thoroughly perusing and grabbing some snacks that were showcased in sale up front, don't forget to buy tokens at your checkout to play the claw grabber machines. Great selection of Japanese items, from beauty products to snacks and grocery items. They also have weekly specials which is nice to get items discounted. Price is at least 50% or more compared to actually getting the in Japan and that's not bad. I wish they carry real mochi like the ones you get from gift shops. I really miss those and also more selection of Japanese sausages would be nice. Things I normally shop here are sunblock face lotions, frozen ramen, frozen sausages and sanitary pads. read more

Amazing store, well stocked, clean. You can tell they care about how the store is presented. There were so many people in the store and it was nowhere near unkempt. It had a GREAT variety of options, feels like a Daiso but better. I will absolutely be back, and I live in Peoria. read more

i came in and it was a pretty good looking store. workers were kind except one. My mom and I go up to the register and we have two baskets. my mom explained she wanted separate bags because she was buying for my siblings. i even apologized that we had so much stuff because i understand how tough customer service can be, from being both a retail and waitress. i hand her a basket and say "This one is for one bag". i said it nicely, and i never had an offensive tone. she snaps at me and goes "Oh yeah I know." in a VERY petty way. i was shocked since i didnt say anything wrong! i understand people may have bad days but coming from someone who works customer service, who ALSO has bad days, don't talk to people like that!! I love teso life!!!! they have such great blind boxes & a great selection of home goods, snacks, beauty, skin care & MORE!!!!! this is my favorite place to go to try new things, or find adorable things from my house, car, closet, literally anything! there are also claw machines, and they're so cute and fun! My only complaint about the claw machines would be the price, I feel like it should be two tokens per dollar at least, but it's a dollar per token :( I collect blind boxes so I come here a lot! I would recommend the shop to everyone! And it's always so clean and the workers are so awesome! read more

My new fave store!!!! So many Asian goodies, particularly Japanese items. I was surprised to find out that they sell Japanese and Korean beauty items for the same price or way cheaper than Amazon. For example, the &honey shampoo/conditioner is almost $40 on Amazon but only like $17 here . I saw a lot of Canmake items on my TikTok before I saw this opened, so I was super excited to find out that a Teso Life was opening. I recommend the Canmake marshmallow face powders, the rom&nd lip balm (soo pigmented and only $10), and the &honey hair oil! (Think it's around $22). The line was so long when I went during the grand opening, but I went again recently and there were no lines. I was kind of overwhelmed the first time I went because there are sooo many things to look at, so I had to come back. I love how there are tester items for the makeup products! They also sell Korean skincare/makeup (3CE, round lab, some others). So many Japanese candies and snacks too. Also a whole aisle of Japanese health products. The concept was imported Japanese products/ Japanese-American and they truly delivered! The playlist was spot on when you were shopping! The store was neat, organized, and the staff were happy to help if you had any questions about anything or if you were just browsing. The claw machines intimidated me a bit because I've never won anything out of them since I can remember. To my surprise, I won the snorlax plushie with the windshield attachment and my partner won the stitch plushie!!! Safe to say, the claw machine games are actually fair! Great selection of different home, beauty, Japanese snacks that you'll probably have a hard time finding elsewhere in Arizona. They have some claw machines too. I will say though, I feel like the location in New York has a better overall selection of items. I'm not sure about now, but when it first opened it was very busy on the weekends so I'd probably recommend going on weekdays. The prices are a little bit higher than buying from some other online site like Yesstyle, but I guess you're paying for the convenience. It is nice to have everything all in one place and fun to browse. read more

The variety of Japanese items is positively overwhelming. We found Japanese items that cannot be found at any other Asian supermarket. They even sell the superthin Japanese condoms and toys. The large selection of ice creams and snacks are amazing too. I think Teso is more fun to walk around than the Daiso. read more

I've been to the Chandler location a few times and unfortunately each time has been disappointing. The customer service is terrible. No one is helpful or friendly. The prices are outrageous. We can go next door Daiso for the same product for much less and friendly customer service. A few items like face care is reasonable depending on what you get but snacks and drinks are very expensive. read more

I would have rate you 5 stars, aside from all the Asian products inside the store that is 5 stars, the front check out staff gets a 3, and that's being nice. A lot less talking, take care of your customers first, then do your pow wow. Paying customers, really do pay your salary, and should be your #1 priority. SMH. read more

Came to Teso Life after I got off work early (because I tried so many times on the weekends but the line was out the door, not worth it!). I'm glad to come on a weekday afternoon where I could browse the shelves without feeling claustrophobic. I did see snacks, drinks, and things you'd normally not see in your local Asian grocer / stationary stores here in AZ. Lots of Japanese/Korean snacks, makeup, toys, and etc, but some of them you can find for cheap at the Daiso next door. Now, I had some issues... Teso is CARD ONLY. I was not aware that the registers only took card, so I was a bit bummed by that. Another issue, I don't understand the lack of efficiency with the crane game coins where customers need to ask the employees that you wanna pay for the coins to play the crane games. Why not buy at least two coin dispenser stations? I get that it's not a big building since the Daiso and other businesses sandwich Teso into a plaza complex, but a coin dispenser machine saves a lot of the employees time as long as they have someone periodically checking the coin dispenser, filling it up with coins, and making sure there's not a long line of people. I guess that's something they'll figure out over time if they don't get one, but anyways... I gave them four stars because there's things in there that you don't see in other Asian stores here in the valley, they have crane games that are fun, items are cool, and they picked an ideal location where there's good stores around if you're not satisfied. Do I think it's worth to stay in the long line? No, but give the place a try when it's not so busy. Hopefully they learn to make the lines go more faster. read more
