Clean, organized and affordable. Employees are really nice. Skin care, snacks, self care products, plates, pots, household items, cleaning products. You name it, they have it. I really appreciated the way they have the ceramic plates set up. Some things are pretty pricey and some things were a steal!

Teso Life is located in the heart of Flushing and conveniently within walking distance from the Flushing-Main Street subway station. The weather was in the high 50s today. This was my favorite Teso Life store. The shelves were stocked with a lot of Japanese snacks. Also, you can buy beverages, ice cream, kitchenware, health & beauty, etc. Check out their promotional sale items too! I bought these items below: Calbee Shrimp Chips Value Pack $4.99 Toko Strawberry Cookie Rolls $2.29 Morinaga Hi-Chew Mixed Soft Candy $3.59 Glico Pocky Crunchy Strawberry $1.99 I love, love, love Teso Life so much!

The first Teso life I went to was in St. Marks, then the one by Herald Square; The last time I was here, they helped get points that didn't get added to my account from previous months. I was really surprised when I saw the old Golden foot court mall getting transformed into this giant two floor space. They carry a great selection of popular, useful household products, besides collectibles (we've been missing anime figure selling stores in Flushing for decades.) There's someone who speaks fluent English (which is rare in Flushing) and Mandarin. It is one of the largest Teso stores in NYC. I missed out on their free tote bag surprise give away promotion, but I saw the Chinese New Year Lucky Bag promotion still available for $24.99. I got eight products from this bag and the value was way beyond what I paid, just with three items alone. I took the liberty of searching for the products I got on their web site. Their site isn't the best when it comes to product searching by name or categories; I practically had to search every page just to find what I bought. The girl at the counter was nice enough to help and let me pick the mixed surprise bag since products differ per bag. I'm kind of tempted to see what the other stores have left in their selections since there's 3 Teso life locations in flushing alone.

Cute looking store with chill music and lots of Japanese skincare, haircare, and similar products. There also seems to be pet supplies and kitchen supplies sections but they still seem to be renovating those areas. Because of this when you go to the back there are still some empty and under construction areas. Additionally some of the shelves are empty. However, the parts that are open look nice.

A Japanese supermarket or store right in the center of Flushing. Awesome!!! They sell everything straight from Japan. The items may be a bit expensive compared from buying them from other places. But it is soo cool the fact that you are getting stuff straight from Japan! I will definitely come back more frequently to this place as it has soo much cool stuff and everyday Japanese items that I could integrate into my life : )

There's about 3 Teso life stores in Flushing, each slightly different with what they have in stock. This one is particularly known for the collectible blind box toys they carry (and less the beauty items the one on Roosevelt carries). I love to pop by every now and then to oogle the new collections they carry. Honestly waiting to see when this Teso will have the latest Smiski At Work series... it just came out :D Worth walking a few blocks extra for these babies!

Cute convenience store for all the Japanese goods and snacks! The store is clean and organized. Staff were helpful and friendly. They offer promotions periodically. The price is reasonable.

My very first time in a Teso Life store. So I wonder, is this what it's like going shopping in Japan. The store was busy with customers of all ages. They had toys, frozen foods, snack foods, candy, cosmetics, home goods, cleaning goods plus more. Definitely a great place to take your time, roam around and buy things that you didn't know that you needed.

There's like 3 Teso Life locations within walking distance around the heart of Flushing. They each have a bit different focus. I feel like one had more household products, another had more skincare, and the other had more snacks. We ended up coming to this one because we felt this location had more Japanese ramen options. The cost was the same. They have so many different options for ramen with different price range. On average, they cost from $3.39 to $5.89. There are some that are more expensive. We ended up spending $50 just on ramen. It's a little bit more expensive than Mitsuwa, but it allows us to save time and stay in Flushing rather than spending at least 2 hours for a round trip to Mitsuwa. We also enjoy just coming here to browse Japanese products, like toys, figures, puzzles, clothes and bags. My GF especially enjoyed looking at their snack and drink isles and wanting to try everything. I really liked their action figures and anime related items. If not for the ramen, this is a store that you can kill some time in just by browsing.

The problem is finding a Target with them in stock. Looked for the cheese, strawberry, banana, and peach on their website when I got to work. Nyack said that they had them in stock, so I was going to drive the 2 hours, after work, to get her the banana. Then the peach popped up as in stock at the Flushing location. Left work as soon as I got off, took the LIRR, and rushed to this location (cause you Mfers wouldn't answer the phone). Got there, and to my dismay, nothing in the shelves. Saw Jessica G. come from the back, and asked if they had them. She looked on her handheld, nothing came up, until she put the item number in. Sho nuff, they had 9 peaches in the back, with a 2 max limit. Jessica also found a squishy duck, which my daughter also wants. JESSICA G. you made me stopping my boycott for the day well worth it. I was checking out at the self checkout around 9PM on a Tuesday evening. There weren't many customers around as it was a weekday. As I was checking out, there was a sales person by the self checkout section. I was paying by coins today as the machine gave me an option to pay by card or cash/coins. I usually pay with cash or card but since I wanted to get rid of some coins laying around the house to declutter my space, I brought some coins out to use. Then the lady, went up to me and asked me, "you're paying with coins?" I responded, "Yes, I am." She then said, "You can't put coins all at once or else the machine will jam." I respected her reasoning, I took notice, and I accommodated and slowly put in the coins little by little. She then had the audacity to tell me to "show her" my coins. WTF. Why do I have to show her the money that I was using to pay the machine to her. I am paying at a self check out. I directly asked her, "Why?" In no way shape or form was I going to let her step all over me and my rights to my own money. She made me felt so unbelievably uncomfortable. There was a camera in front of me and from the camera, I saw her in the background literally eyeing me down the whole time as I was paying. The funny thing was she an Asian middle-aged woman, probably in her late 40s or early 50s, had long black hair, and spoke perfect English. She targeted me, an asian woman, in her late 20s, and in no shape or form looked or done any illegal activity. I was well dressed, wearing a north face jacket, and a gym fit, long white socks, and a new balance sneakers with a duffel bag, since I wanted to do a mini target run after my gym workout. I have innocent features & appearance. I look way younger than my age, my hair was cleanly tied back. I had an open body language. I was only purchasing three things: frozen chicken nuggets and a bottle of ketchup and chitpotle sauce. I definitely don't feel comfortable coming back here anymore. Target, do better with your hires. You lost a loyal customer. I'm going to the one in College Point from now on.

Glad I had taken a look because there were lots of great-valued goodies on sale by the clearance section. Additionally by the look of things, it seemed that they recently had a renovation of the inside of the store. The old Marshalls I had known years before no longer looked familiar to me but in a good and positive way. The skincare/makeup section is moved from the back to the side. So much easier to find products now in comparison to years ago where if you see it, you'll see it. And if you don't, well that's too bad and it's on you. More beauty brands from Sephora including K-Beauty are found in store like The Inkey List, Herbivore, Glow Recipe, Kiehl's, Summer Fridays, Laneige, Farmacy, Curlsmith, Clinique, Skinfix, Peter Thomas Roth, Glossier, First Aid Beauty, Drunk Elephant and etc. Glad to see that the Flushing location finally has a separate section just for K-Beauty alone. It's about time, Marshalls! Next, it is also more convenient to find yoga mats, yoga towels, and other sports/wellness related vitamin (gummies) in the Active section which is located right next to the beauty aisles. If you're looking for a sturdy but inexpensive yoga mat alternative, then Gaiam is the brand that got your back! Their yoga mats only retail for $15 and the yoga towels are $10 in total. The service from staff is helpful + patient + friendly + top notch. Love shopping at Marshalls from time to time. Things are pretty affordable + great value + very durable + highly recommended. I'd stopped in to return something that I'd ordered online, As soon as I hit the entrance, I asked the girl (security? Greeter? Both?) where to go to return an item. She said, upstairs. I go upstairs and there's a male employee not far from the top of the escalator. I ask where to return an item. He showed me, and then asked me if I have Verizon or T-Mobile. Part of me wishes I'd said one or the other to see where the conversation was going. But, I had other stuff to do so I said as I walked away, "I have neither. I have Mint and am very happy with it." Then I went to return my item. Return process was easy-peasy.

This is just the latest in what I have come to expect from this particular Target…read more After heading up to the upper floor of this Target to pick up a few things, including lightening charging cables; I paid for my purchases there at the electronics counter. As I exited the store through the exact same doorway, I had entered through, the security sensor went off. I stepped back into the store and the security guard asked me for my receipt and took a quick look in my bag, suggesting that a clothing item may still have a security tag. I then walked over to a register nearby and asked a cashier to help me locate and remove the security tag triggering the door sensor. Taking all my items out; absolutely none of them had a security tag. So I went back to the same exit and the sensor didn't go off from the bag but went off as I walked through. I handed the bag of purchased items to the security guard and stepped through the sensor with nothing but what I entered the store with and it went off. The security guard then states, "you can go, I trust you." But I was already embarrassed and felt targeted; especially seeing the mom of another kid that attends my son's school. She wouldn't even look at me as she got her shopping cart; lord only knows what she thought I stole. Then the kicker is, I was already a bit delayed as I just wanted to pickup a few things from Target with the spare time I had until pickup time for my son from school. The sensor didn't go off at all as I walked through it that final time. I absolutely believe I was being targeted as I have encountered inappropriate surveillance and requests to view my receipts (while other patrons passed without them batting an eye); as well as refusal to print me gift receipts for gift cards that I purchase for gifts. I believe the usual security--who may be used to seeing me--weren't around; therefore, I once again fell prey to unfair profiling this particular Target store engages in.
