I hate to be this person but I felt this hotel didn't offer the customer service we paid for and…read moreexpected. This is more than likely a management issue so I won't name staff. But myself and the other guests in my party were not happy with our experience at this hotel. First of all, we weren't told at check-in that we had to specifically request housekeeping or else it wouldn't be done. So after our first night we had no fresh towels and the room hadn't been cleaned. We had to go up to the front desk to ask for towels. Apparently this is standard protocol for hotels now, but this isn't something we were aware of and it would've made our stay much easier if they had just given a heads up at check-in. We've stayed at plenty of other places and it's the first time we encountered this. Also, we needed to use the coin operated laundry facilities but there wasn't a place to get coins. The front desk clerk said they had just ran out of coins and that there was a laundromat we could walk to across the street to get change. I believe this was around 8-9pm. We asked if there was someone else that worked there who could open the drawer for change but they said there wasn't. This was frustrating because if there's a coin operated laundry machine it should be easier to get change for bills on-site. Those little inconveniences make a big difference for guests when they're traveling and exhausted, hoping for a place where they can relax and get things done without so many little setbacks. The guest in my group who was told to go across the street ended up having to do exactly that and washed there instead.

The housekeeping staff did a great job in our room (note: housekeeping was by request only during our stay, but it was no problem at all to request and get service the same day). The hotel was lovely, very clean, and quiet. Just a great experience overall.

Zero help when dealing with companies operating on their property. The management staff provided…read moreno help at all when dealing with High Mountain Helicopter - who operates on their property and the websites are linked, etc. We got totally ripped off by High Mountain Heli and the staff at the hotel and property did absolutely nothing to help us even contact the right people.

Breakfast was amazing! A peach crumble to start, then a fresh fritada (veggies from her garden), sausage, and croissants ... maybe more ... all fresh made (she asked us the night before about any food issues so she could modify the plan if needed). Great area for all sorts of things nearby ... but we will come back just to stay here again! Hopefully more than one night. Oh ... it's not just about the food, rooms were clean, excellent condition and comfortable. Several rooms off to one end with a small separate sitting area, so even if it was full I can't imagine feeling crowded.
