DO NOT USE THIS SHUTTLE SERVICE!!! Take a taxi instead!…read more They were late and after three calls and waiting 1/2 hour, it was clear that I was getting the run around. First I was told they will be 1/2 hr late because of traffic (on a Sunday in Jackson Hole?!). Second call was they will be still 1/2 hr late due to, this time, construction (again, on a Sunday in Jackon Hole?!). Third call was "the shuttle is in route to the airport. But with only one road from the airport and town, there was no Jackson Hole Shuttle nor construction to be seen from the taxi I ended up taking after waiting 1/2 hr and a very long travel day. The guy from Jackson Hole was basically lying and rather rude saying the fare was non-refundable. Other members on our tour that had used this shuttle said that they had to wait over an hour past their scheduled pickup times. On my return booking, I skipped this terribly unreliable shuttle since I had a connection through Denver that I didn't want to miss. And with upgraded seats that I paid an extra $400 for, I wasn't about to take a chance that the shuttle would show up at 5:15AM on a Saturday to take me and the Mrs. to the airport. This charge is being disputed with my credit card even though it was a non-refundable charge. Now I know why they list it as that. That way they can be as late as they want, or as I was told by an airport worker a, not show up at all. Also the hotel front desk person said that they have become unreliable. If I could give 0 stars I would! Again, DO NOT USE THIS SHUTTLE SERVICE!!! Take a taxi instead!

I don't like writing negative reviews, unless well earned. But looking at others' reviews, I see…read morethat my experience was not unique. I had pre-booked and prepaid for a one way pickup reservation for the airport to town for a specific time, 2:00PM departure. I arrived at the pickup location 5-10 minutes before departure time and discovered that the driver had given my seat to a walk-up rider. I mentioned my reservation and told him I had my paid receipt on hand. The driver said the van was full, but that another van would show up soon, for a departure that would leave around 2:30. A friend who works at the airport offered to give me a ride into town so I told the driver I was cancelling my reservation and wanted my fare returned to my credit card. The driver gave me the phone number to call, so I left them a message but have not had any response from the company in the four intervening weeks. Their price is reasonable (hence one star) , so I may use in the future, but I won't bother making a reservation. The reservations are meaningless and only favor the company, not the customer.

This is a great service that was suggested to us by our hotel in Jackson Hole. Since we did not…read morerent a car we figured this would be a great way to get to the Grand Targhee Ski Resort for a day filled with skiing. We were picked up by a cab from our hotel at 7:30am. The cab then took us to a bus car park in Jackson so that we could load the bus, with other skiers, that would be taking us from there to the ski resort. The ride was beautiful and our bus driver was very knowable about the area. When we arrived at Targhee our bus driver explained where lockers were, where we could eat lunch and gave us other insight about the ski resort. He let us know we could leave anything in the bus, the bus would we parked there all day. He told us to meet back at the bus at 4:00 for a 4:15 departure. The ride home was also beautiful, the bus driver even pulled over so we could take pictures of the sun setting on the Grand Tetons. Now for why this service is receiving 4 stars instead of 5: Just as in the morning, we went back to the car park. The bus driver let us know that our taxi, that would be taking us back to our hotel, had not arrived yet, but ensured us that the taxi was on its way and would be there in a matter of minutes. We were let off the bus, with our skis, and left in the cold in a parking lot to wait for our (soon arriving) taxi. Twenty minutes later, we were still in the cold, waiting on our taxi. This had to have been some sort of miscommunication on the companies part. Eventually we were picked up and taken back to our hotel. I would use this service again. Next time I would make the bus driver wait for our taxi with us.

3 years ago my husband and I decided we wanted to take our sons, their wives and some close family…read morefriends on a trip to Yellowstone and The Grand Tetons. We didn't want to rent a car and drive ourselves nor did we want to be on a bus with 30 other people. I hunted around on the Internet, spoke to many different tour operators and eventually found Rowan of VIP Adventure Travel, Rowan and I talked for weeks via phone and email to determine the best time to travel, the best way to see the parks, where to stay, where to eat and how to plan the trip, even down to when to stop and buy snacks for the van we would be in for 7 days. We decided on the week of Memorial Day 2014 and set about making reservations and final details. Rowan suggested we fly into Montana, stay at the Chico Hot Springs for 2 nights while we get adjusted to the time and see the northern end of the park. What a smart and perfect way to start the trip. Rowan was at the airport waiting for us with a beautiful comfortable van, made us feel welcome and started us on our weeks adventure. During the day we laughed, played games in the van, asked Rowan a million questions as he drove us through the country to the most spectacular spots to see wildlife and scenery. He suggested where to have dinner, what time to leave to see the best of Montana and head into Wyoming for the parks. Rowan was organized, detail oriented, prepared and enjoyable. He took us places we would not have seen had we driven on our own. He knew where the best waterfalls were, the best hiking trails, the best off the beaten path trails were and the best place to see wildlife. We spent a fabulous week with Rowan, seeing Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons from the inside out making it s trip we would never forget. We still talk about the trip, remember the great times and fun we had and we owe the experience to Rowan. It was a gamble to hire a private tour guide to spend a whole week with but it was the best decision we ever made. Rowan and VIP travel made our visit to the parks a once in a lifetime experience. I would highly recommend using Rowan for a private tour of the parks. He knows the park inside out and you won't regret hiring Rowan for a trip that's worth taking.

Yes finally a place that caters to people who don't want to get stuck behind Mr and Mrs Brady and…read moretheir spoiled little shit kids. I called this place because I googled a bunch of places. This is how the conversation went down; ME: Hi I'm in town till sunday and want to ride LADY: Okay, what type of rider are you ME: Aggressive and I don't want a sled that is governed down LADY: You want to ride tommorrow with Kyle, its the only day he is riding with experienced riders like yourself ME: Okay where are you located LADY: No, where are you located, we will pick you up. YAHTZEE !!!! With that said I was picked up at my hotel lobby and taken back to the shop. I opted for the upgrade which was a Polaris 600 with a 153 inch track on it and was not disappointed. My guide like I said was Kyle and from the minute we left the parking lot, to minute we got back it was hard core riding. The parking lot we left was somewhat sunny, but we entered the following areas according to him: Salt River Rand, Wyoming Range, The Greys, River Canyon and Apline Wyoming. Half way through the day we pulled into a real ranch in the middle of nowhere and were treated to a delicious lunch with homemade cookies. We then headed out to some serious boondocking back country riding, unlike anything I have ever experienced in my life. Riding on a base of 20 feet of snow with fresh feet pounding down was the ultimate experience. Our guide kyle let us freestyle for a good 2 hours total off the trails and I was completely spent by the end of it. I flipped my sled once, but Kyle was right there to help me right the sled. I know some people reading this may think this place is too hard core, but they cater to families as well, the inexperienced and the intermediates. I personally think this is the place you want to go if you are in Jackson Hole and want to ride. They have a tour that brings you to much wild life in addition to yellowstone.... Fuck yeah As good as it gets !!!
