They carefully covered our furniture after move them into the truck to protect our stuff. If 10 stars was an option, that's what I give Tetris Moving!! This was the second time we used Tetris. The first time they just wrapped our furniture and a different company did the actual move...big mistake. This time around Tetris wrapped the furniture and did the physical move; difference was astounding! They fully wrapped and loaded our 6 bedroom, 4,000 square foot house in 4 hours. We did all the prep, but still we have a lot of furniture, with living room, family room, dinning room, bonus room, 4 full bedroom sets, and patio furniture. Communication was spot on. They were quick and efficient, but wrapped the furniture to my expectations (wrapped with blankets and made sure all the feet were protected). On the delivery end, they unwrapped all the furniture and helped place some of the bigger pieces! Would VERY HIGHLY recommend! Will use them again, for our next move. read more

My Mom sold her house and we needed to move an upright grand piano that weighed approximately one billion pounds. I called Michael and explained that I had to move it on a certain day, the only time off I had from work. He easily accommodated my request and brought his crew to move the piano from Renton to Auburn. They arrived on time and had all the equipment necessary, rollers, dollies, straps and padding. Now I consider myself a pretty fit guy for a dude in his late 40's, but even moving the piano around in its existing room was difficult. When Michael and his crew showed up, I thought for sure they'd have a hard time with it, but two of them dead lifted it in about 5 seconds onto their dolly, wrapped it up in padding and out the door it went! From the house, the piano had to travel across a lawn full of grass and moss, but they overcame this challenge as well, securing it inside their truck a few minutes later. The piano has been in our family for five generations, and even though it needed to leave my Mom's house, she was still emotional about seeing it go. Michael and his movers were super respectful of my Mom, the house, and of course the piano, treating it with obvious care. No damage to anything, no nicked door frames or walls, total pros. The moving price was a flat rate with a discount for cash payment, which made the cost slightly less than some of the other movers I checked online. Highly recommended these guys. We weren't even finished packing and these guys came in and packed, disassembled our bed and table, drove to our storage unit and cleared it out, dropped off items and assembled at a relatives house who took our bed, unpacked at our new house, and cleared away our boxes. Took about 10 hours and all three worked incredibly hard the whole nice. I really thought I was dealing with a reputable organization. I should have known right away when I chose this organization and it took the owner, Michael, about three days to finally respond to my emails and phone calls letting him know I wanted to hire them! He sounded really eager to help and get me moved safely, and I believed him. He never reached out to me again once the contract was signed, I reached out to him a few days before my move to verify I was still on his calendar. I also explained to him that I had a storage unit full of boxes (no furniture, just boxes), but the storage didn't open until 11:00am. My common sense told me they'd want to get the boxes in the truck before the furniture, but he assured me the movers would still meet me at my house between 8-9 anyway. The movers showed up at 8:15, the guys were great! They filled the truck with the few boxes I had in the house and all the furniture, then they told me what time they would be to the final destination and they headed to the storage unit and I headed to my new home. That time came and went by two hours! They told me they had to reorganize the truck even after I explicitly gave them the dimensions of the storage unit. With two people it should only have taken 30 minutes to load! Instead I got charged for a two hour reorganization of the truck because nobody wanted to listen to me. One of the guys broke the stand on my tv, so now I have a tv that's not functional. I contacted Michael immediately the next morning about all of this, but guess what, it's been a week and he STILL HAS NOT RESPONDED! If you have disposable income, then hire this company. If you have no problem with the lack of communication, then go for it! If you don't mind the movers breaking things, offering to pay for it but leave before they do, then this company is right up your alley! I would honestly search out other companies before choosing this one! read more

The day of my move, they called to tell me they would be later than promised due to being held up at another job but they would give me twice the man power bc of this inconvenience. The estimated ETA was looking too late for me as it was into the evening and I asked if we could do the next day, they were more than willing and so nice about it. I recently used Tetris Moving Company, for an unplanned move. Edward and his associate were incredibly professional. They charge by the hour but were moving faster than I could have imagined. They even helped pack the giant tv for a safe transport! They took apart and packed all the furniture with more care then I would have done. As quickly as they loaded the truck they unloaded even quicker and up three flights of stairs in to a third story apartment. They were careful to place the heavy boxes in the right spaces. Wife and I bought a piano yesterday. Didn't think far enough ahead to realize that it was way too heavy for us to move into the house. I called any and every moving company I could think of, nobody was available at such a last minute request. Until I called the guys at Tetris. I called them while I was still on my way home, piano in the UHaul truck, and they said they could do it and meet me at my house in 30 min. They didn't bring their piano moving equipment because I forgot to mention the 6 or so steps that lead into my house from the driveway. That didn't stop them! They strong manned my piano gently up the steps and into the house. From the moment I called them, to the time they left my house, it was a total 45 minutes, so I didn't have to do any waiting on them and went back to enjoying the nice weather. They even offer a discount if you pay in cash. I can't thank them enough for being super professional, extremely courteous and fast, and beyond friendly. I recently used them as my moving company. They were suggested by my concierge at a large luxury high rise downtown. And they are luxury movers without the "luxury" price. They took great care of all of my furniture. As a person who lost their home (and everything I owned) in a fire in SF, via my neighbors, I wanted only the BEST care of the things I have re-bought! They wrapped everything in blankets and saran-wrap. Even the things I was worried about, my tv, my glass table top, our guitars...everything was done with such care! I even got a little upset because I was missing pegs to my bookcase and they immediately emailed me back and said where they were...super detailed oriented service. I've used other large brand companies (who shall not be named...*Bekins*) before and they can't even begin to be compared the these guys. I've unpacked almost everything and everything is perfect. I HIGHLY recommend them! They are a new company and don't have many reviews on Yelp, but don't let that deter you from using them. I was so worried about the process of hiring a moving company, and the first few places I called were rude, uncaring, and gave me the runaround. Tetris Moving Company staff were so kind and helpful right from the start, and immediately put my fears to rest. I had them help me finish packing as well as moving, and they did a fantastic job of carefully packing my belongings and labeling the boxes so I could find things later. Unlike other moving companies, they asked me where to put boxes in the new place, and took care to make sure I could still move around in each room, even patiently repositioning the storage shelves in the garage for me until they were just right. There were several hiccups in the process, through no fault of their own, such as a few sick staff the day of the move, and they called in reinforcements and even family members to help get the job done right still. And every single one of them was friendly, kind, trustworthy, and fantastic at the job. This being my first professional move, I felt really awkward standing there while they worked, and they made small talk while working quickly and efficiently, to make me feel more comfortable. I ended up having more things to pack than we originally thought, and without complaining they found a way to make it all work anyways despite the longer time it took. They were also the most affordable of all the moving companies, which was a real treat after having such a stellar experience on top of it. Imagine paying more, for one of those other rude, unprofessional companies! I am SO glad I found Tetris and will use them again anytime I have to move.
