On planning the move, once more the staff were excellent to assist with my planning as I knew there was going to be some delay between the time of packing and the availability of my new residence. They made me feel secure in a plan to pick up my trailer on 31Aug and deliver it promptly on 09Sep. The customer service professional advised me of an ideal plan and that they would hold my items if they happened to arrive too early. No problem, right? However, they didn't pickup on 31Aug as described, unknown to me I had to call for trailer pickup that was supposed to be pre-arranged but a call cleared that up on 01Sep and they hauled it off. Since then, the trailer has been parked in Winston Salem, NC. A follow up call to their toll-free number on 08Sep to a less than interested employee suggested it may arrive on the 11th but they do not deliver on weekends so it may be the 12th...13th...14th even. At this point I'm wondering if I am going to require shopping for a new wardrobe to start my new job at my new location. The truck location still showing Winston Salem, NC and it's the day it was intended to be delivered. I have had to reschedule my unloading staff appointment and have no idea when to expect arrival of my belongings. My first experience would have been a 5/5. This experience, I would rate a 1/5. At this point I feel concerned my property is not secure and that it has not made any movement in 9 days.

Movers arrived for help with packing and moving boxes/furniture into pods, forgot the bubble…read morewrap/paper/protective furniture quilts I requested. Poorly used the supplies provided by me, and didn't even use all of it (several rolls of paper and foam packed as cargo but not used); a number of my items arrived damaged, broken or ruined. Furniture heavily scratched and covered in large rub marks, especially wooden dresser. Seemed to just pack things willy-nilly including medical records (put in pod loose, spilled contents everywhere with many pages ruined), fresh produce (slime by the time it arrived) and framed art (randomly packed with other items without protection, leading to broken glass in boxes). Personal computer (valued approx $1000) was packed loose in pod and needs repairs. Frankly, pretty angry and disappointed.

Very nice crew but too many broken items to make it worth it. Still finding things that are broken…read moreor stained with rust from moving truck. Received a VERY small compensation for the amount of broken or flat out destroyed furniture.
