Update: Awhile back ago I talked about how Texan Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram f'd me over when it came to getting my van registered & titled. Taking longer than 4 months! Well after complaining I finally got the title & registration! I'm still waiting on my plates since Oregon has to make the Disabled Veteran plates but I got a temporary Oregon plate to last me until my real plates come in! Not only that but the dealer admitted their fault with not being transparent & not keeping me updated or my lien holder updated on the title & registration. They personally walked the temporary tags & registration to my mothers house & gave me $200 worth in gift certificates which covered the cost of them using the 3rd party to do my titling & registration in Oregon. It's sad it had to get to the point where I had to report them to the DMV & BBB plus put them on blast with reviews for the general manager to get involved (while still being a bit rude to me) & make their titling department do their job but I'm happy it's pretty much resolved & I'm now able to drive up to Oregon! I'd suggest if you buy from them that you title it in Texas. They are not great with out of state titling & registration. read more

The young lady at the front counter is very timid and unknowable as if she just there. She didn't look me up in the system nor try to help. I asked you to get someone who could give me my keys because I was told (by Edgar) my car was ready for pick up. She came back with an older gentleman who came out and escalated the situation. He did not greet me, he was not customer service friendly, he did not try to help, he did not look me up in the system. He was a very condescending and unreasonably rude. Mind you, I am pregnant and had my two dogs with me. We contacted the dealership every single week asking for updates and they couldn't give us any update or diagnostic of the truck. They have had the truck for 30 days and then proceed to tell us they can't put us into a different truck. I would give zero stars if it was possible. I went there today to have them look at 2500 ram that I purchased in July of last year. It was well within the basic warranty. I started having issues about two weeks ago, where the wiper fluid would not come out or very small amount. So I stopped by Texan Dodge since they were closer to my place. They take the truck and a technician looks at it and I guess it's leaking from the inside of the hood area. So either a hose from the reservoir broke or came loose. Once they determine that, the woman service advisor came and told me I would have to pay a $225 fee because they couldn't guarantee that it would be warranty and it clearly is a part under warranty. A line coming loose or cracking would not be normal at around 15,000 miles. Sure looks like some shady tactic. I called the dealership that I purchased from Tomball Dodge, I spoke to one of the service advisors And said absolutely they would not charge me since it's within the warranty. I guess I will be taking a little from humble on Monday to get it fixed without screwing me over all my money. Stay away from that dealership, Texan Dodge! Damage paint job and bent pinch welds. They didn't even do the job right they left the exhaust loose causing it to rattle. I took my Wagoneer in for three main concerns while I was out of town for a week. My windshield washer fluid pump wasn't working correctly, my passenger heated seat would not stay on for more than five minutes, and while reversing the entire system would freeze and restart before I could use the backup camera. Out of the three concerns, they only addressed one and replaced the heating element on the wrong seat. They ended up having my vehicle for two weeks, where I had no loaner, and when I saw the video of the maintenance, I realized there was issues. When I went to pick up my vehicle, I started noticing damage to the interior, including a puncture in the driver, side door, scratches on the wood, paneling, and deep scratches on my glove box door. I had to prove in the video that some of those damages did not exist when I brought the car in. I have yet to hear back from the manager, regarding how they would compensate me, or fix the vehicle. Besides not repairing the concerns I had, the service technicians tracked oil and dirt onto my floor mats leaving behind a stench so strong I was getting migraines. When I attempted to shampoo, the carpets at home, the water was black, and the carpets were visibly stained. Between my third-party extended warranty and myself, thousands of dollars were spent for this dealership to not only falsely repair my vehicle, but also damage it extensively that it would cost me thousands of dollars on a trade. Aaron is the only good thing about this dealership, but I will never see this dealership ever again in my future. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Bought a 2023 3500 Ram from them and there were 2 pieces of "trim" that were messed up on the date we bought. We were told they would be repaired and now we are trying to get them fixed and nobody knows anything about it. I've called and spoke to staff and spend about an hour on the phone, only to be transferred to a voicemail that isn't set up and was ultimately disconnected. This is not customer service I don't recommend them to anyone. My 2015 dodge dart broke down with a shift cable recall, the car was towed to Texan Dodge in Humble. Bruce Amaya in service was rude during the whole bad experience. I was told there is no fix for the shift cable recall and for me to get my car away from there or they will put a lean on the car, I even offered to pay them to fix it at least good enough for me to drive it home but all they would do is charge me $266.00 to do a diagnosis just to tell me what we already know. An still they say they would not be able to fix the car. Then they tried to charge me for having the car towed to the dealer but I had already paid, showing rude Bruce Amaya the receipt, he could not argue after seeing the receipt. I talked to management with no results. The next day I got the car towed away from there and a friend of mine that is a mechanic ordered the shift cable for $50 and fixed the car the next day. However, not only did he fail to provide any updates on the first day, but on the second day, he completely ignored my message when I reached out. When I called the dealership before noon on Day 2, I was placed on hold and then transferred to Albert Nunez's voicemail. I called back and spoke with Camryn, who refused to answer a basic question about whether the diagnostic fee would roll over if I had to take my car back due to work and later return for the repairs. Instead of assisting, he claimed he didn't know, confidently stated that Adrian was on lunch, and refused to escalate my call. At this point, I requested a supervisor, and after a brief hold, Adrian himself picked up the phone, without identifying himself. When I asked for an update, Adrian had no new information and instead tried to shift the blame on me, suggesting that I "misunderstood" the time frame. This was not only inaccurate but also condescending, especially given that I had been clear from the start about the distinction between the diagnostic timeframe and the actual service repair timeframe. After I corrected him, he backtracked and admitted I was correct, saying he would reach out to the technician. Hours passed. Still no update. The service center was approaching closing time, and I once again had to chase him down for information. This dealership does not prioritize communication, customer satisfaction, or accountability. Really the worst part of this experience is I will never consider purchasing a new vehicle or receiving service/repairs on the vehicle I bought from the dealership. My husband and I drove over an hour to look at a vehicle. We were ready to buy, was preapproved and was told that we could do the paperwork the following business day when the Jeep was ready with four new tires (this was at 830pm and clearly no one wanted to stay to do paperwork). The next day they said the service department was backed up, and the Jeep would not be ready. We called the following day and did all our paperwork over the phone with the finance manager, and was told that we could sign when we came to pick up the vehicle. No one ever offered a DocuSign or asked us to pay a deposit on the vehicle. I messaged our sale guy Clayton and joked, don't let anyone else have our jeep! That day they said the vehicle still wasn't ready and we could pick it up the following day. They also said they were replacing all four tires along with the oil change however they only replaced two tires and said the other two were just fine even though we agreed upon the four tires. In response to my earlier review, the general manager posted inviting me to contact him and indicated that the staff was "looking into" the issue of having been overcharged for taxes and licensing fees. I did, in fact, email him directly and provided the contract showing the amount collected of $9,120.37, as well as a print out from the DMV showing the amount actually paid by the dealership which was $5,508.49. To date, no response or refund of the extra $3,611.88 collected. I scheduled a recall service. I was not notified that they did not have the parts to complete the recall in advance. I showed up at my appointment time to be given this information. I listed the reason why I was scheduling the appointment while making the online appointment. The service advisor (Aaron) assured me that I would be notified when the parts arrived. Fair enough. He informed me that the recall work could take up to three days to complete. I asked about a loaner as I cannot be without transportation for that many days. I should not have to pay for a rental while a repair is done that was not caused by me. I was told they did not offer loaners here. Finally, weeks later, I was informed that the parts were available. I request they check on a loaner from the dealership GM. Another couple of weeks passed. All in all, between 8-9 weeks passed, and I still have not heard back from Aaron regarding a loaner and getting me on their schedule to correct this manufacturer defect. I went to Mac Haik Dodge and easily, seamlessly had this recall item taken care of in one day. If a dealership can't properly handle the small jobs, why should I trust them with handling the larger jobs like purchasing a vehicle, and service after the sale, etc.? STAY FAR AWAY! I went to the dealer because of a ram 1500. I saw online. I talked with them via text message to start because I work random hours. My sales person was Great. at first what they sent me the numbers, looked pretty good. I was trying to get to a certain payment at a certain price. they asked me to come in to discuss it and to test drive the truck. I came in and the price went up they said because of the financing. They also have $3800 in BS markups that they won't budge on. I noticed that the truck had damage in the bed of the truck and I told them. Come to find out it was a demo that they didn't tell me and had 2000 miles on it. They sold that truck and told me that they had a grey one similar, they then sold that one. Messaged me about a third truck. We spoke about getting the monthly down and I would put a little down and they would come down to meet me. I go in again. They wouldn't honor the price we previously got. The $1000 I said I'd put down did nothing because the took $1000 off the trade in value they originally gave me. Shady, criminal tactics. This dealership has bait and switch practices. I contacted them about an Internet advertised price of $52,990 for a 2021 Dodge SRT Scatpack. The sales person sent me an email price listed as $52,990. When I asked for and out the door quote I received a price of $54, 990 as the base price + normal fees and an outlying "Total Financed After Markets" of $2995.00. When asked what that was, I was told that was a "protection package" standard on all new vehicles. It includes perma plate, wheel locks, life time warranty on window tint, nitrogen in the tires, and theft patrol (gps tracker). When I explained that I would not be needing any of those. She said it was standard and added when each new car arrives. When I queried about the price difference. She said the advertised price was and error and the manager changed it when she "pencilled" the quote. I explained that is illegal in the State of Texas. She had the sales manager call me unprompted. He said it was mistake that there was a $1500 rebate. I explained it was not included in the advertised price and was not on the quote. I explained it was illegal to do such things in Texas and I would be reporting them to the State. He discontinued the call. So in this experience, we see a bait and switch on base price of $1,500 and $2,995.00 of unnecessary add ons. This does not seem like good business practice. read more

Typical dealership. Once you purchase your vehicle, they treat you like an inconvenience. It took them 3 weeks to figure out that my van had a specific program. I could understand if you're some random car dealer, but not an official Chrysler dealership. They had fixed my steering column and it started to crack a little and told me that was normal because the "grease was loosening" up. I had the dumbest look on my face hoping they were joking, but they were not. Took my car in for service and it sat a week because their transmission guy was coincidentally not available. If you take your car in full of gas, they drain it and tell you it was "necessary", when it probably went into one of their cars. If you take it in with no gas, they don't put any extra in. Took almost a week for my car to be diagnosed and with NO COMMUNICATION given to me. Was told that they would need to hold my car until the diagnosis could be made. Why couldn't I have brought my car back in (a reservation/appointment) on the day that they would be able to diagnose it, rather than be out of a car for almost a week...JUST for a diagnosis!? "The technicians have an order that they take in the cars and they get paid per job and if your car is not here, then they still get paid for your car and the company has to pay them" is what was told to me. Doesn't really make sense to me. They need a better system. Fast forward to diagnostic...I had to call and call and call to find out about the car's diagnosis. First time, they said the technician would call me back. He didn't. I texted the number that was given to me at induction of my vehicle if "I have any inquiries" and NO REPLY. Called back and no answer about my vehicle...did it get taken in? Did it get diagnosed? NOTHING! Only a measly "I can see some notes here in the remarks"...but no actual information for me. I feel like this place gives you the run around...takes your car in and then doesn't answer any calls about it, doesn't give you any information about it, which makes you think they're "working on it" when it's in fact just sitting back there with nothing going on. If you're trying to get a diagnosis on what's wrong, I suggest finding another mechanic to do that because this place will charge you $200+ just for that and you'll be out of a car until they decide to get around to it. For a set appointment I arrived on time and literally waited 9 mins to be acknowledged. Only to be assigned an advisor who I had to literally question to ensure she completed protoco. The typical walk around, odommeter check. etc. Not once did she look up my vehicle confirm what packages, if any I had. I had to ask when she was going to review that. I purchased a vehicle from Texan DCJR in early Dec 2024 and the only thing that was pleasant about this experience was Samuel Dawson, my salesperson. The story of how a 5-star experience quickly became a 1-star review... I purchased the vehicle on Saturday (12/7) understanding that the locking mechanism on the door needed to be fixed because it was screwed down too tight - or so we thought. I bring the vehicle in the following Monday to address the lock, which I was assured would be quick because I just purchased the vehicle. I waited 2 hours no update, then when I ask they pull my truck to the back, only to find out they actually need a part that they don't have. I have waited 3 hours to be told, I have to come back. Sam gets me a loaner for the night. The lock is fixed the following day and I can enjoy my new truck now, right?! Wrong! On 12/12, I make Sam aware of some concerns with my truck... driver side door not aligned with the back, bubbling in tint, and the larger concern trembling/hesitation when transitioning out of first gear (It doesn't happen all the time, so recreating this issue on demand proves challenging). He's helpful, and coordinates a time to drop the vehicle off and asks if I need a loaner. I decline as I can manage without it this time. I drop the vehicle off 12/12 afternoon. They look at my vehicle 12/13, indicate that the shuttering was the result of the recall which they addressed and fixed, the unalignment of the doors is a factory defect and would be fixed, but I would have to bring the truck back. I've had the truck 2 weeks and I've already had to go back to the dealership 3 times. I didn't even push the bubbling in the tint. So, I bring the truck back 12/16 and drop it off to have the door fixed AND I let them know that the hesitation is STILL occurring. Truck is ready on 12/18. Service team advises doors are aligned and they feed me a story about how the software update didn't clear out the error, but they cleared it and everything should be good now. Nope, still feeling the hesitation/tremble. I make my salesman aware on 12/23 and as a next course of action, he coordinates a time with me on 12/27 to test drive another truck like mine to see if I experience the same hesitation/tremble. On my way to the dealership I paid close attention to whether the issue occurred and it did not, but as I indicated previously it is very sporadic. I test drove the truck like mine and the issue did not occur either. I was planning to leave my truck that day for further investigation, however, after waiting for a loaner from the service team for almost an hour, we finally agree that I will take my truck and coordinate a time to bring it in if the issue occurs again. I notify Sam on 12/30 and on 1/1, he advises me to bring the truck in again, but this time I ask if we can have a loaner set up because I will need a vehicle and I don't want to wait for hours once I drop off the truck. Sam tells me I will need to wait until next week when the service team has a loaner available. I reach out to Sam on 1/6 to see if a loaner is available, but I don't hear back so understanding that Sam has a job to do, I stop by the dealership to speak with a manager. At this point I'm introduced to Jordan and I explain to him everything that I've went through with this vehicle up to this point and simply just ask for help addressing the issues I'm having. I don't hear from Jordan, so I reach out on 1/8 and speak with Jordan who seems confused that no one has reached out. There's much more to tell, but not enough space. Ultimately, I have had to fight every step of the way to get anything done. I'm on week 2 without my vehicle and no timeline when my truck will be fixed b/c a STAR case has been opened. The Texan managerial team could care less about resolving my issues with their product which leads me to believe this is a common occurrence. read more

My truck was left out in a bad storm with them KNOWING I had a leak .I received a text the next day, that my truck was not starting . My RF hub was fried and when they removed the cover, "water just poured out." Prior to me dropping off my truck, I had no problems starting my truck. Their negligence cost me 1K and an unnecessary repair . I was told "This water leak you are experiencing is a very common issue and it is known to cause water intrusion in the RFH (Radio Frequency Hub)." So if this leak is such a common issue and the service department knows it's known to cause water intrusion in the RFH, why was my truck left out in a bad storm for this part to be damaged ? Also, why is this not a recall since so many experience this "common issue?" I was sent two pictures of someone else's truck in which they were showing me cracks in the window frame. This truck was not mine since it did not have a truck cover . I asked if the truck cover had been removed and the service guy said no . Then I told him I was asking because there was no cover on the bed in the picture. He then told me this was a picture of another truck that their window specialist sent as an example. That was not explained until I told him the reason I was asking . I was also told my back window had to be replaced because it would break when they redid the seal. I consulted with another company and was told that the window did not have to be broken to be removed. The service guy told me it would be an additional $572.50 to remove my seats to replace the window that they have to break . Mind you, my seat would have had to already been removed to replace the RFH. So was I going to be charged twice for the same labor ? I spent a small fraction of the cost to have the window and brake light replaced at another company in comparison with Texan dodge . In addition, I was told that my truck recall was already done ,but when I told the service guy I did not want to proceed with the additional repairs , I was told that it had not been done . He told me they will work on it and would let me know when to come get it. My truck was there for 9 days and the recall had not even been done . This further delayed me to get to work on time and not to mention the rest of the inconvenience this experience caused . When the service guy text me that my truck was ready , I told him I would like to speak to a manager and the service guy told me he wasn't in. I asked for a number and he said he would look for one when he came back from his break . When I came to pick up my truck, I asked to speak to a manger and spoke to the director Diana. She told me to go ahead and pay and they would submit a claim for $300 reimbursement. Diana called me on Monday and left a voicemail saying it was denied and to call her back if I have any questions . I called back multiple times and she never returned my call (it's been about a week and still have yet to hear from her). I was able to get ahold of the Manager Dalton but he was not able to do anything to make this situation right. 9 days and the only thing that was fixed was the damaged part caused by their negligence . It's ironic that on Texan Dodge website they show the acronym: "R.I.G.H.T. is actually an acronym that encompasses all of our values. Together these values create the foundation upon which we build every customer and employee interaction." Because after a visit there and dealing with Robert Barrett you would think the opposite. I have never met a more arrogant, rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional human being. I am not sure what Texan Dodge is thinking having someone like that represent their brand but after reading many other reviews it seems as if many others experience the same thing at Texan Dodge. I have been to so many other dealerships in town and the majority of them are very nice, courteous, and professional unlike Texan Dodge. Stay away from these guys. They use the bait and switch tactic and DO NOT care about you, the customer. They only care about making $$$ and it clearly shows. It is sad that in today's currently social/political climate that people can't take out a little time to be more caring and tender. I am ashamed of these guys. No lie worst vehicle service experience of my life I brought my jeep to Texan Dodge Chrysler Jeep for service. They told me it needed a part and I needed to wait for the part to come in to repair my jeep. The parts were delayed, so my vehicle stayed on the lot longer than expected while there it was stolen. I was under the impression it was not operational at the time waiting on this part. When I came back on the to get some things out of my Jeep they couldn't find it! THEY COULD NOT FIND IT? WTF? So they proceed to make assumptions and then tell me "oh no you'll have to come back later after we see the camera footage before we can agree it was stolen" at that point I should have known something was up but I filed the police report and went home. Well I came back the next Monday after that All their BS with the cameras to find out that it was stolen during the day during normal business hours on Camera. Following that they turned it over to their insurance and swiftly absolved themselves of any responsibility. Did they help me with recovering my loss? NO Did they apologize? NO Did they make accusations before they told me what they already knew? YES Did they make it right? No Did I get the oil changed like I wanted? NO Did the oil change get charged to my account? NOT SURE " I wouldn't put it past them" This is not the first bad experience here at this location but it is the worst service experience of my life. I have been less than impressed with the purchase of my Dodge Ram 2022 equipped with a V-6 purchased from Texan Dodge in November 2022. My first indication of poor service came within a month of purchase in November. The truck started experiencing wanting to stall episodes after completing a right turn. I took it in at the start of 2023. They had no solution or the workforce to look at the problem. The stalling episodes continued. Over the year I took it in several other times. No solutions. Once I left it for 7 days the problem was not resolved and I had to pay over $400 rental. I spend days trying to get a refund. I was not successful. I did get a letter from Dodge that said in a nice way you are screwed! Ram trucks equipped with e-torque as seen on the internet have a long history with stalling and complete shutdowns as seen on YouTube videos. There was a published recall on April 20, 2023 for 131,700 Dodge trucks with the 5.7-liter Hemi eTorque as this engine could suffer an engine shutdown in certain operating conditions. It did not include V-6 engines. Today I am at home and the truck will not start. I have had to jump through hoops beginning with the dealership to get it towed to the dealership. I could hardly understand the service person. I was given a roadside assistance number by the dealership to call and I did. It initiated a text message which opened a link on my phone to answer questions like if was I in any danger, where was the vehicle, was in in a garage, what floor of the garage, how wide is the garage, what is the vehicle vin number. If I wasn't in any danger at the start I probably would be if I was on the freeway or a bad neighborhood at night without a flashlight and unable to see my vin number. At the end I saw a number I could call as I could not proceed without a vin number. I called and again I could not understand the person. I started the ID process all over again. Name, problem etc. etc. My account could not be found. My name or phone number could not be found. He needed a vin number so I was put on hold and he called customer service. After 6 minutes (good thing I was not in a bad neighborhood!) and I was asked where I wanted it towed to. After another 3-4 minutes went by because he could not find the address of the dealership I wanted to be towed too. Finally, he said there was a charge beyond the allowed mileage to the dealership and the out-of-pocket expense had to paid first before the tow occurred and if I was agreeable with that, he would send a link for me to pay. I said no. I have no idea who the link is and how secure they would be with my payment information. He said your only choice is to hire one yourself. So much for Dodge warranty. With that, I placed a called back to dealership and asked for service manager and it went to voicemail and no one has called and over 2 hours have passed. Good thing I am at home and not in a bad neighborhood. I have purchased 18 new Chevrolet cars and trucks in my lifetime and just this once I got a Dodge as this is probably my last new truck. Bad idea. I am thinking of going out to buy a new Chevy Truck and having the Dodge towed back to the dealership and just having the driver drop it off on the lot. Got an oil change package for 3 oil changes which was a good deal at the time. On first one they told me I needed an engine air filter. I said I would do it my self. Went to change filter and found they just put old filter back in with dirt and debris left in the housing and left locking tabs unlocked on housing. On 3rd and final oil change they left oil filter loose. Leaked oil all over underside of truck. Tried to call several times to talk to a manager and left messages and no response. Will never use this place again. So after getting the canned response from the dealer I emailed the general manager like they said and still have no reply. read more
