Delicious beer Great atmosphere Perfect spot to enjoy . Friendly staffing Hope you can enjoy

I stumbled upon this place because I was looking for a non-bougie sounding brewery.. and I wasn't the only one because the other patrons here were amazing! The owner, David, sooo fun and hospitable to everyone. They've been open 10 years. I had a sample of Texas Blood IPA even though I'm not an IPA girl but the flavor was really good. I stuck with the blonde ale, Break Free. The seltzer* they had tasted dangerously good.. so I got some to go lol. *TAPWTR Blood orange mimosa seltzer - sugar free hard seltzer that actually has good flavor compared to...... They do flights and sell tamale and snacks. There's restaurants around and the beer garden is beautiful. The bathroom is super clean and automated (except the paper towels which are conveniently available).

This may be one of the smaller breweries but they have some good staple beers. My favorite is the Texan blood orange. We walked in and the brew master let us know everything we would like based on our likes. She was very helpful and let us sample ones we were interested in. Cute place with the normal cornhole outside. If you don't like being outside, this brewery is not for you!

The Texas Ale Project is a newish microbrewery in the Design District with a cool indoor atmosphere and decent beer menu. The TAP has engineered such memorably named brews as "Fire Ant Funeral" (in my top ten list all time best beer names), 50 Ft Jackrabbit, and Texas Blood. It was cold enough outside when we visited that we were unable to enjoy the garden seating. But, the inside of the bar area is clean and modern with plenty of space for various sized groups. A large metal, backlit sign dominates the back wall. Games are available for customer use. We played a sort of two-person version of Cards Against Humanity and laughed a lot. To the right of the main entrance is a large open room with a table where some peeps were playing beer pong. While the variety of spaces was nice, the parking lot runs in between the garden and the brewery building which created an uncozy distance. As we approached, a small amount of seating available by the door created a crowd of people who had to part so we could enter, odd and a little inhospitable since there was ample space inside. We attended for the launch of the Fist Full of Dollar Mexican Stout. A Dallas foot race routed down Riverfront Blvd made it difficult to park The beers we tried were solid but not remarkable. I was hoping for a stronger chocolate flavor and less hops. The IBU's seemed higher in general on the beer selections than my personal preference. She tried the Cotton Candy Pils and enjoyed it, but didn't love it. Again, we hoped for more flavor. We didn't get a strong welcoming vibe off the bartender. Might've been a long day, which we all have. It seems that the landscape of tap rooms has matured to the point that just "having one" isn't cool enough. After having tried a dozen or so, I'm finding that certain ones stand out. TAP has a cool room and set of dining spaces that could use a bit of homeyness added. If you like subtlety in your beer flavor and don't mind bitterness, you'll be a fan.

    Nice!

First trip to TAP brewery, but not my first TAP beer. Took the fam for an after-Thanksgiving outing, and this place did not disappoint. Ordered a flight of some fantastic libations, pulled out some board games, and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. While not a large indoor taproom, there was plenty of seating avails in the brewery and outdoors. I'm not sure how long the taproom has been open, but it sure looked nice and shiny new to me. And now the beers. Let's start with the BBA dubbel. Nice flavor and true to the style. But my favorite was the 100 million Angels Singing DIPA. Hazy and nice backend flavor. And you can't go wrong with their Texas Blood IPA--juicy to the last drop. I'll be sure to visit again.

First time here, today 2/29/20. Parking is non-existent. Have to park on the street and there aren't many spaces available. Asked to try a couple of their beers before deciding and after 2-3 samples was told we can order a flight...hmmm.... Felt like a suggestion that she didn't want to give us anymore samples. Actually watched her as the next people came in and she poured a samples then dumped 1/2 of it before giving it to the customer. WTH?? The beers were ok. Had the Thai Hazy IPA (nothing Thai or hazy about it) and the barrel aged stout. Both were good. About $6-8 a pour of 10-16 oz pour (in a dirty glass). Super small place (seating for 28 inside), but love the decor. Nothing makes up for crappy service though. Had one beer and left. Know your customer or you will lose them...

Cool, chill spot to hang out with indoor and outdoor seating. They have some games like corn hole. Restrooms are really clean, but the beers here are nothing special, unfortunately. Tried their raspberry sparkling cider and it just tasted like a pilsner... No hint of raspberry at all. Also tried the porter and meh. They DO have food here now!! The vendor told me it only happened recently. The menu looks good!

Great variety of beers, good atmosphere with food truck, ping pong tables and cornhole, needs more seating since it can definitely accommodate more, but overall great experience - stop by if you are in the area

So juicy and full of flavor, genuinely incredible food. Service was very quick, everybody was very nice, no complaints there at all. I don't drink beer. I took a sip of my husband's and actually enjoyed it, which says a lot. He was very happy with his. The space is great for hanging out. They have an inside and outside area, a section for private parties which was being used for a birthday while we were there, and a small merch corner. We even bought a t-shirt. My husband loves it. Parking is somewhat limited, a couple of rows, but nothing terrible. The floor was a little sticky but it's a bar, things get spilled, I understand that. Bathrooms were very clean. Overall a really good time. Enjoyed every minute of it and we will absolutely come back. P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. If food/drinks/service impress me, I'll be happy to come back. If not, the stars reflect that.

The vibe was cool, people where there working, some networking and some just relaxing and enjoying a beverage. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. Long story short, this made the cut of finalist to host my event based off of the quality of the food and drink and the space to host an event.

The taproom is right off Inwood Road and it feels very city. Between the train cars crossing the bridge overhead to the activity in the bar, I definitely think Celestial Beerworks has the right vibe for what it offers. I ordered the Strawberry Lemonade sour, and it was very good! Not as sour as some others I've tried, but was definitely tasty nonetheless. My other friends enjoyed their drinks as well. There is a cute little food truck outside that offers tacos, queso, quesadillas, etc. I ordered the veggie street tacos and queso and chips (not pictured). Bit expensive for the amount of filling in the tortillas in my opinion ($2.5 / street taco, $6 queso and chips) but was tasty nonetheless. I appreciated the sauces on the side but ultimately would have liked more kick to them. It's Texas, baby, bring on the spice! Food takes a LONG time, which is nice when you want to sit down and have a few drinks, but not too great if you show up pretty hungry! Overall, would definitely come back for another beer / trivia night but would probably eat beforehand.

She identified herself as the manager and then physically stood in the restroom entryway, blocking access. Because of that refusal, the situation escalated unnecessarily. Instead of resolving it professionally, I was told to find another restroom, including being directed toward an alley. During this time, even paying customers who needed to use the restroom were unable to access it and appeared concerned about what was happening. Another staff member, who did not even understand the situation, then shouted "everybody get the fuck out" at us.
