I attended a work event hosted at Community Beer Company and it was a great experience. This place has lots of space and an upstairs area for private events. I was there for 2 days. We had an event in the back area and on the 2nd day we had an event upstairs. They have extra parking in the parking lot across the street. This place is dog friendly too. The food was really good and the drinks were a plenty. I had the standard smash burger with fries and it was delicious. This is a fantastic location and worth a visit.

I absolutely love this place!! Have been here several times for Dallas Pets Alive events, trivia, or just to hang out and always have a good experience. They have the best trivia I've ever been to in Dallas! The food and drinks are fantastic and a good price. It's such a big location with so many seating options. They were also super accommodating and let me bring cupcakes for a birthday with no issue! My friends and I always have the best time here :)

Great experience. It's a huge building with plenty of place to talk and get good drinks. The taps are really good and the location is tucked away, but inviting. Best for groups, you get there and just socialize while a server comes to you or you go to the bar to get whatever you need. They are not shy with the pours either.

Stopped in during the chaos of the GetLit adult bookfair. This spot is huge, chill, and a place I would have enjoyed spending The day playing board games at (but that's a life no longer lived). Sadly, the Mac & Cheese was brunch-blocked, but "The Standard" double-patty burger saved the day! Seriously, mouth watering delicious, and the fries were the crispiest, most flavorful I've had. P.S. NA Hazy IPAs are my new guilty pleasure. Dallas, I'll be back for this!

Decided to stop here because my husband is a brewery lover. The place was a nice size. There was seating inside and outside. Most of the beer flights were good . I had the Bavarian burger , which was a Wagyu smash burger with Bock beer-braised caramelized onions, bacon, I skipped the gouda cheese for American cheese with haüs sauce on a pretzel bun. Everything was good, service was fast. And the staff were friendly.

Visited Community Beer Company in Dallas and ordered the adult grilled cheese with a side of tomato soup. The grilled cheese was great, but I've gotta be honest -- the tomato soup tasted more like tomato paste thinned out with a bit of water. It didn't have that classic tomato‑soup flavor I was expecting. Aside from that, the atmosphere here is awesome. It's welcoming for both families and adults, and the space has a fun, energetic vibe. We came for a ping‑pong session, and it was the perfect setting -- clean, lively, and very community‑driven. A big shoutout to Abby, who helped us the most during our visit. Friendly, knowledgeable, and great energy -- exactly what you want from staff in a place like this. Service overall was excellent. If you're looking for a fun, social spot to hang out, grab a drink, and enjoy good company, Community Beer Company definitely delivers. Just maybe skip the tomato soup.

Visited again for trivia on Wednesday. Got some appetizers and plates to share with the table. I really liked the soft pretzel. It was big and easy to share. I also liked the nachos. They did not skip out on the vegetables and protein as the toppings. The fries are also very good. I really like the flatbread to share among a large group. Ordering at the bar is very easy as well. Everyone is really nice. I love that. They allow dogs inside and outside as long as they're on leashes. Can't wait to come back for another trivia night.

Overall a good experience. Nice atmosphere. Good food. Great beer. But charging a "convenience fee" to order using a QR code and website that's more convenient for Community than it was for me... and then suggesting a 20% tip for a server who basically dumped the food off with no silverware and never returned so we could ask for it... and pointed us to a water cooler when we asked for ice water.. seems a bit ridiculous. I must've been feeling generous since the 15% I gave him on top of the "convenience fee" for ordering on the app was probably 10% higher than was earned. Luckily there was enough other good things to garner 4 stars.

We loved it here! The vibe is great and it is huge. It seems like everyone loves it and you can tell they are very involved in the community and host a lot of events like the adoption event today. It was so nice to see! The food was great! The Buffalo chicken flatbread had great flavor but definitely could have been crispier it was a little floppy but it still tasted great. They do accept reservations which I thought was amazing and they reserve your table with your name so you can just seat yourself. We had a great time!

Order at the counter or from the code at the table. Typical brewery restaurant with good choices on the menu. The tacos were great and they let me try all 3 for 12$ so not that bad

This place is worth a visit for the outdoor space alone. Cornhole (bags) kept us entertained after we ordered our food and were waiting. The food was good, especially the cheese curds. You order by scanning a QR code at your table, which I'm not a fan of, and they only had one actual menu at the table. Of course I had to try a beer and it was pretty good. The food was a bit overpriced for what you get, but tasty.

Solid spot with plenty of seating and beer on tap. Tried the Recreational Hazy IPA and it did not disappoint. Glad I made the stop here and you will to!

This unassuming restaurant tucked in a corner of nondescript row of stores has stood the test of time. My first review of the place was in 2013. No numbers, they just remember who you are. I always get combo number 1 and add sweet potato fries. The prices are great and not much more than McDonalds but the difference in value is significant. The burgers are not thick but this time I noticed the double burger (#2) is just a couple of bucks more than the the single patty in #1. Note to self for next time. Although the patty is thin, the flavors work. The burger comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, and mustard. No ketchup, you add that yourself. The bun with sesame seeds always comes out piping hot. Sweet potato fries are crispy and not greasy. The combo comes with a drink for $10.99. That's a deal. I hope they stay in business another 13 years!

The neighborhood may continue to change around it, but Chip's remains the same. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Chip's has an old school, nostalgic feel. The restaurant has an iconic sloping roof with a yellow outdoor exterior and a big green sign with its logo. Inside, there are plenty of booths, a bar, and even outdoor seating. Chip's has grown and expanded over the years but to me that adds to the nostalgic charm. 1 Star. Service - Chip's may have invented counter service. Upon entering, you look at the menu posted on the wall and place your order. You'll get a number (or they'll ask for your name), and you grab a table, and when your food is ready it comes out. Fast, efficient, and the staff was super friendly. 1 Star. Food - Chip's is known for its poppy seed hamburger buns. While it's pretty and tasty, the most important part, the patty, is pretty average. Honestly, there are many other great burger joints in Dallas. On the other hand, the fried onion strings are a must order for your side. While I wasn't a fan of the burger, the fried onion strings saved my meal. The Oreo and Fresh Banana shakes were also a nice cold, creamy, sweet ending to my meal. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. I hope Chip's never changes. The restaurant has an iconic look, it's part of Dallas history, and the staff is great. 1 Star.

We ordered the fried mushrooms to start, and they were so hot that one of us severely burned her lower gums on them. Seriously! A prescription from the dentist was sought; mea culpa but damn. Once they were less volcanic, they were good. We split a burger with fried onions, and it was dry. The meat was overbooked, the bun was over toasted, and the whole thing needed plenty of beer to go down smoothly. The fries are fine, and we did appreciate that they had some steamed broccoli on the menu. Our daughter was happy with her kids cheeseburger meal, and she did like the chocolate-caramel malt shake she scored at the end. A main reason that we're landing on three stars is the ice cream situation. One of us ordered a soft serve vanilla, and nobody told her that the machine was down, so what she got instead was a cup of half melted Blue Bell soup...are you kidding!
