Manhattan Project Beer Co is one of the top rated breweries in Dallas, so naturally, we had to visit during our short trip to Texas. Things I loved about MPBC: 1. The parking situation! They have a small parking lot and surrounding free street parking. I always get anxious visiting/ driving to new places in large cities, and I was so happy that parking was a non-issue. 2. The space! Covered outdoor space with misters to off-set the heat, a modern bar with several stools, and a variety of seat-yourself tables in the main bar and in the brewing area, there's a spot for everyone! 3. The beer! I LOVED the 2.6% beer option. It was a delight to slowly drink two pints and not feel bloated or tipsy. I love the variety of things they offered, since I was driving, I left the higher ABV beers to my partner. I loved the IPA and pilsner. 4. COFFEEEEEEE! Coffee at a brewery is *chefs kiss* 5. The food! The food was AWESOME. Even if beer isn't your thing, I would argue this place would be a great option for dining. We came here not really knowing what to expect and left very happy. We had three arepas: caprese, pulled pork, and beef. All three were divine. So juicy and full of flavor, genuinely incredible food. Service was very quick, everybody was very nice, no complaints there at all. I don't drink beer. I took a sip of my husband's and actually enjoyed it, which says a lot. He was very happy with his. The space is great for hanging out. They have an inside and outside area, a section for private parties which was being used for a birthday while we were there, and a small merch corner. We even bought a t-shirt. My husband loves it. Parking is somewhat limited, a couple of rows, but nothing terrible. The floor was a little sticky but it's a bar, things get spilled, I understand that. Bathrooms were very clean. Overall a really good time. Enjoyed every minute of it and we will absolutely come back. P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. They make new rotating limited beers every month or so, so each visit is filled with excitement to see what's new on the beer list. Some of my favorites have been the pina colada IPA, rice lager, italian pilsner, and coffee stout. Their craft kitchen is one of the best - this is also my go-to spot for steak frites, which they do a steak-and-eggs version of with potatoes during Sunday brunch. Don't skip dessert, either. I ordered the American breakfast and devoured every bite. Fluffy pancakes, perfectly seasoned potatoes, delicious avocado spread, and eggs that were somehow extra fluffy and flavorful. The place ended up getting crazy busy, which honestly says a lot. Great atmosphere, amazing food and drinks, and definitely somewhere we'd come back to. Pet friendly outside only, and super family friendly. 6 months pregnant myself, and saw maybe 4+ other babies/kids and other pregnant ladies. So fun! We stopped by Manhattan Project Beer Co. after finishing a nearby 10K, and it ended up being the perfect post-run hangout. First off, the outdoor patio is fantastic. You can tell this place really shines on a nice day or summer evening--it feels like an ideal spot to grab a few beers with friends and settle in for a while. Fun side note: the name "Manhattan Project" is a nod to the historic WWII project, which fits since they started as a brewery first and built a reputation around thoughtful, well-crafted beer before expanding more into coffee. I went with the tres leches latte and it absolutely delivered. Not overly sweet at all, which I really appreciated, and it gave me the caffeine boost I needed after the run without feeling heavy. The breakfast sausage sandwich was a standout surprise. Way better than expected. The bread, egg, and extra cheese all worked perfectly together, and if you're a fan of a runny yolk, this is a must-order. One of my buddies tried the seasonal matcha banana latte and said it was spot on. The banana didn't overpower the matcha and everything was well balanced--again, not too sweet, which seems to be a theme here. A couple others grabbed some of their seasonal beers to go, and if you're a beer drinker, they all said it's definitely worth checking out their rotating selection. I enjoyed my visit here. I went to "secret shop" this place as a potential venue to host an event and the food as the staff did not disappoint. The vibe was cool, people where there working, some networking and some just relaxing and enjoying a beverage. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. Whether it's in the evening for some drinks (lots of different beers!) and dinner (they have an amazing food menu -- the thai fried chicken is delicious! ) or come in the mid-morning for breakfast/lunch (or brunch on sundays). This past visit, we stopped by around 10am after dropping off someone at the airport. They have a full coffee bar so they can make a very good latte (even had oat milk for me!). Manhattan Project is pretty widely distributed in Texas so I wanted to try them out. They're largely known for their IPAs (which I don't drink a lot of), but their other beers were good. I specifically enjoyed the limited-time Enrico pils. Not the best beer in Dallas but no complaints. The vibe of the brewery was nice, very modern restaurant/bar area. This place has been my go to place for beef tallow fried chicken lately. They also have some very delicious beer in the atmosphere and ambulance is very relaxing. You can also bring your dog. The service is outstanding, everyone is so helpful and greet you with a smile. Wanted to share with you the incredible experience my husband and I had this afternoon at The Manhattan Project. From the moment we drove onto the property, we were blown away--it's hard to put into words how welcoming and beautiful the place is. Accessibility was a big plus for us, especially since we brought our puppy along, and they made it so easy. We had the pleasure of meeting Brad, who is an absolute gem. He's full of knowledge about the cuisine and gave us fantastic recommendations. Big shout-out to Mario, the head chef--his work truly made the evening special. We also met Darien and Meredith, who along with Brad and Mario, run the place like pros. The whole vibe reminded me of New York Soho--laid-back, friendly, and pet-friendly, with people who treat you with genuine respect. We tried three dishes--the steak frites, Thai chicken, and the "regular" fried chicken with garlic aioli sauce and truffle fries -- every bite was phenomenal. The Cappelletti Spritz were just right, and refreshing... The seating is roomy, with a tables that easily fits six to eight people, perfect for groups. Add to that great music, perfect weather, and outstanding customer service, and you've got an amazing dining spot. I've heard their brunch is incredible too, so we're definitely coming back this Sunday to check it out. First of all my partner and I have been wanting to visit this brewery for awhile. We finally were in town and had a chance to come in. We were pleasantly treated by a very nice bartender that was very happy to be there and very proud of brewery. He offered us multiple samples before we settled on our selections. I had the half life and my partner had the double half life. They were both delicious hazy IPAs that hit the spot. LOVED our first visit! So much to enjoy, and sounds like plans in the works to mature the already excellent experience further. We came because I love the Hoppenheiner beer I get at local package retailers. The brewery is what I look for - tables for socializing, a good selection of beer, and a view in to a clean high quality establishment. Hands up.
