I know I will not be taken advantage of when I go to The Auto Pro Shop. I needed a very expensive part that showed me my gas levels and malfunctioned my check engine light. They found a used part for $300 over the insane price for a new part. If you are needing an auto repair, oil change, new brakes, new radiator you can trust this business. They go the extra mile to make sure are getting the best price.

I've acquired car knowledge only through owning the ones I've had and it's all been bare minimum. All that to say, I have not felt like she was talking over me. I have not felt like this company is trying to take advantage of me, AT ALL. Unfortunately mechanics have a bad reputation but this company has proven to me that they are honest people. I've had to get an oil change and all of my coils replaced. They tried to see if my car would allow just the second coil being replaced but after starting my car a couple times, my car wanted 1,3 & 4 replaced as well. Anyway, I had to leave my car overnight which it's in an area that didn't give me any anxiety so there was no fear of my car getting vandalized. My car is running good-as-new so I'm def pleased that the problem has been resolved. You are able to buy the parts for your car and they will use those, since that can cut on cost. Those parts will not be under their warranty. I had to get my car fixed asap so I didn't go that route but it's def good info to know if you don't need to get it fixed immediately. My only complaint? That I am unable to interact with the mechanics in the garage. I love chatting with people and making new friends but then again..... this is already the hottest and most humid summer I've experienced in DFW (yall, I work outside as a laborer so I get to stand on this soapbox) The opposite of a complaint now: they offer free candy, cokes & water and also free play on arcade games while you wait. Aaaaand if you're curious, yes, there is a bidet in the bathroom. No, I didn't use it myself. 10/10 will use this auto shop again and again

This was two days before Thanksgiving 2024 and after a couple weeks went by receiving no communication, I posted a review on Google still no phone calls. I reached out to them YET AGAIN after another week and instead of communicating about my vehicle she wanted to argue about the bad review I left stating they attempted to call me. I printed out my phone logs just to further prove my point that during this entire fiasco they have attempted to call me only once. I sat in their office having a face-to-face conversation with them stating that the cosmetics mean nothing to me I need my vehicle to operate mechanically and safely just as it did before I was hit. Weeks go by and still no word. Once again I call them and I was told was that they completed cosmetic work prior to even looking at the mechanical work and were still waiting to assess the mechanical portion. On what planet would a mechanical shop perform cosmetic work prior to any mechanical work?! What if the car is totaled? I mean, I'm just a mechanic too, What do I know? We have now started a brand new year. It's a week in to 2025 and the last time I have heard about my car was at the beginning of December. If you want your car fixed correctly and in a timely manner, do not bring your car here.. I wouldn't wish this place on my enemies. Lessons learned.

I'm just lazy and a little low brow. If I can see to drive it's fine! My normal body place--which I love--quoted me upwards of $280 to replace it. They told me they would be expensive because they do not do a lot of windsheilds. First Class Auto Care did the job for $190. AMAZING JOB!!! Okay, here's the great part. They are located in the Plaza of the America's Garage. If you drop the car off in the morning you can pick it up when they are done and they will validate your parking for the day. So it's also free downtown parking. If you work downtown that's a huge plus. They are right on the DART line. Other services include hand washing, vacuum, was, steam cheaning, detail, lock outs, inspecitons, oil changes, hail damage, window tinting....I mean geez. I work downtown and had been stressing over getting things on my car taken care of. I could just drop it off and let the car elves do their magic while I work.

I informed him at that time I had a 3rd party warranty on the vehicle and he said they would deal with it. He called and informed me that he had to run a diagnostic on it and said warranty company would not cover the charges only parts and labor lie number one . Went on to tell me it would be an ungodly amount per hrs. And would be around 750.00 I said OK not realizing he has not actually talked to them. Didn't hear back from him so finally after a week I called concerned I was going to pay more for the diagnosis he informed me he would do it for 750 but he wasn't able to figure it out and felt it personally needed to know. I said ok didn't hear back for probably another week to him telling me I needed hv charge cable and hv batteries he wasn't able to do it but referred me to someone else to the tune $20,000 or higher. Said I would come get the vehicle what was owed he stated $930.00 was not happy but wasn't leaving the vehicle either. So went got the vehicle ended up taking it to a guy close to home good guy he told me that my high voltage charge port was cut and missing a fuse and warranty company voided my warranty and could not be fixed had to buy another cable$1200.00 so I call Justin a real winner he admitted to cutting the cable without consent and said it was necessary for the diagnostic $930 ago and said he didn't ​feel any obligations to make it right was totally comfortable with what he had done and said he was stepping away and not going to have any more conversation about it i could talk to the manager which would be better thought referred me to Janet or something I ask her if she could find a cable good or bad just wanted warranty company to cover it she said I quote "at the end of the day we are not replacing the cable" in was appalled being in a family that owns a business i cant imagine being around long. I'm reviewing the experience of coming here for a state inspection (just emissions since safety…read moreisn't a thing anymore). An auto shop has no business looking this good. The waiting area is the nicest I have ever seen and has some soft drinks, a Keurig, and lollipops for the kids. It smells amazing, is nicely decorated, and has comfortable seating. The staff is very friendly. From my chat with them, they don't do body work or transmission rebuilds (but will do replacement). I am not speaking to the quality of their work since I'm not familiar with anything beyond the inspection, but would absolutely get a quote from them if it means I can sit here and get some work done!

The problem came from there being some maintenance on my vehicle that I had not yet gotten to, and yet I wanted it done before I embarked on a twelve hundred mile journey. I had inquired at the garage who normally does my maintenance and they could not get me in for a few days and that would have been too late. I wanted to share my recent experience and echo the many positive reviews here to share a recent…read morefantastic experience with Brian and Detail Werkz. Detail Werkz provided a paint prep and ceramic coating install for me in December of 2018. Although my first experience using a coating, I was really pleased with the results and appreciated the guidance from Brian and subsequent install. The coating helps keep the car cleaner and makes cleaning a very simple procedure. It's quite a sight to see how the water beads off the thing when air drying the car. Last weekend I discovered the car had been extensively sprayed, accidentally by water with an chemical. Regular cleaning failed to remove the residue. I texted Brian shortly thereafter and got a swift response, making a plan to bring it by the workshop the next day, even though he wasn't technically open. Upon seeing the issues, Brian was able to remove the resulting damage. Give the extent of the issue we decided it best for Brian to keep the car for a day to reinstate the ceramic coating where it had been compromised. The car was ready and looking better than as ever as planned on the Monday of this unfolding on a Friday/ Saturday. The cost of all this was also entirely reasonable given the time and material needed to put it right. I totally appreciate Brian's knowledge and service and highly recommend his work based on my fantastic experience. He's a straight up guy with a passion for making cars look their best. Cheers Brian.
