Brian did an incredible job bringing my black Land Cruiser paint back to life. Looks better than it did when I first bought it!

I wanted to share my recent experience and echo the many positive reviews here to share a recent fantastic experience with Brian and Detail Werkz. Detail Werkz provided a paint prep and ceramic coating install for me in December of 2018. Although my first experience using a coating, I was really pleased with the results and appreciated the guidance from Brian and subsequent install. The coating helps keep the car cleaner and makes cleaning a very simple procedure. It's quite a sight to see how the water beads off the thing when air drying the car. Last weekend I discovered the car had been extensively sprayed, accidentally by water with an chemical. Regular cleaning failed to remove the residue. I texted Brian shortly thereafter and got a swift response, making a plan to bring it by the workshop the next day, even though he wasn't technically open. Upon seeing the issues, Brian was able to remove the resulting damage. Give the extent of the issue we decided it best for Brian to keep the car for a day to reinstate the ceramic coating where it had been compromised. The car was ready and looking better than as ever as planned on the Monday of this unfolding on a Friday/ Saturday. The cost of all this was also entirely reasonable given the time and material needed to put it right. I totally appreciate Brian's knowledge and service and highly recommend his work based on my fantastic experience. He's a straight up guy with a passion for making cars look their best. Cheers Brian. I decided to give Detail Werkz a try since they offered a variety of services that included clay bar and utilizing quality wax and leather conditioner. I scheduled an appointment for mobile onsite detailing and the guys did a great job on my car. It hadn't looked that good since it rolled off the showroom floor. I appreciated the fact that they were kind enough to notify me that they would be late as the previous job they were on was taking longer due to an overly dirty vehicle. The website does warn this can happen if you choose a later appointment such as in the afternoon so just be aware. Their prices are on the more expensive side compared to some of the other car detailers, but the fact they list what products they use at least gives me an idea of where the cost is. Overall I'm very happy with the results, they treated my family car just as well as any of their vintage/supercars featured on their website. read more

I had an excellent experience with Detail Werks. They were professional and helpful guiding me through their various packages when I first called. They arrived at my home right on time and had everything they needed to the job. I wasn't sure if they needed a water hook up, but they didn't and the whole process was super easy. The car looks better than when I first bought it. The paint has a mirror-like finish and I couldn't be happier with how clean the interior is. The owner admitted his services were not done properly. They removed the wrap and ceramic coating from my car but only refunded $4500 of the $6,532.89. The owner refused to refund the rest of the services NOT rendered and also sales tax I paid. I'm not tax expert but I'm pretty sure you are supposed to refund sales taxes if you charge them. It was not until I complained and left a bad review here, the owner decided to refund me the sales tax. The wrap was not fully removed and I had to pay to have the dealer remove it and re-prep the car to have it wrapped again. Disputing the charges with my CC company since the owner refuses to refund me. They returned the car in worst shape that I brought it to them in yet refuse to refund me the full amount. I'm not sure how a business can logically justify not refunding a customer when no services were rendered and the customer had to pay to repair their mistakes. Ask around before you take your car here. You'll be surprised. Another update. I took my car to Invisibra Dallas and they did an amazing job. I had the complete opposite experience. Basically everything Brian and Detail Werkz told me they couldn't do, could be done. They made a bunch of excuses instead of apologizing. I've used this company through a referral. Previously, I had their mobile detailing come to my house and clean my sports cars. Wanting to promote their business again I called the owner (Brian) to discuss my options. He let me know their mobile services no longer exist because of the downturn in his business due to Covid. He directed me to his website to schedule and obtain services details and shop location. I scheduled and paid for the service in advance. The day of service (1030am appt), me and my wife drive 30 minutes to the shop location. Upon arrival I find that the shop address on their site is wrong and they moved over a month prior. I call Brian and he gives me the correct address which is right around the corner (no harm no foul). I get to the correct address and I get a text from Brian stating the technician is 8 minutes away. Now I'm frustrated and I send him a text back stating: "This is very unprofessional. Website has wrong address, I schedule a service, pay in advance and no one is here?" He calls me immediately with an attitude asking how this is unprofessional and why I can't just be patient and wait for his tech (as his tech arrives in an Uber). I try to explain how this can be perceived and unprofessional (as if my text wasn't clear) and he interrupts me to say he doesn't want my business and that I can leave and then immediately hangs up the phone. As I'm leaving his shop (with my wife following me thirty minutes back home in her car) I sent a text stating: "Expect to be blown up online.". He immediately calls me back and wants to talk about it (after hanging up the phone on me). Tells me I'm being unreasonable and unprofessional myself. I have to explain that I'm not the professional in this interaction (he's the professional business owner), but that I actually did my part "professionally" because I went to his site, scheduled, paid and showed up on time as requested. This owner has no business acumen and I would be careful using his services. He has no grasp on his employees and when and how they report for work. The speed of the leader is the speed of the pack and this owner's emotional incapacity to handle issue and obstructions to his business are little to be desired.. read more

They not only do high end cars as my wife have a 08 Corolla S and they pampered it and restored the glittering specks in the silver paint...they showed up on time, were very professional, and friendly. the car was better than when we first bought it inside and out! We brought our car here for a new car prep, full clear bra wrap and ceramic coating on top of the wrap. They did a terrible job on our clear bra and the owner refused to give us a full refund. We tried to contact the owner numerous time for a resolution, to either repair the wrap work or refund us fully. The owner did not want to repair the work or refund us fully. We could never speak to the owner during our 3 visits and he could not even call us to come up with a solution to fix the damage. Work is only as good as the person supervising it and overseeing it. I have used Detail Werkz for 15 years. But this last time I used them to do ceramic on my car and my bike. The results were better than expected, and every detail of both were done. They took care of little items that nobody else would notice. The ceramic is tough, has a deep clear shine, and is very easy to maintain. If you get Brian and his crew and have a high end car, you may get five star service. If you do not, a secondary crew will show up, which is not as detailed. After requesting a high end wax application, I noticed when I got home that some of the wax had not been buff out. Also, I had to ask them to put tire dressing on one of the wheels they missed. For a several hundred dollar wax job, they used Eagle One tire dressing, which can be purchased at Walmart for about $5 bucks. The last time I used them, they did not vacuum in between the driver seat and center console. Attention to detail is lacking and this is their business. read more

My husband paid over $300 to have a full outside and inside detail on his Toyota tundra. We asked for the engine to be cleaned which didn't get done. They said they shampooed the carpet but when the floor mats were removed there was still dirt and change and rocks. They said they detailed all of the plastic in the truck but we found coffee splatter on one of the plastic panels. He said he did all of the work but when my husband pointed things out he got huffy and said that if we wanted it to be spotless that he didn't think he could do that. Then what was the $300 for? He stated that he would clean the exhaust which didn't get done. When we complained he begged us not to leave a bad review and spent the next hour and a half re-wiping down both the interior and exterior. We could've taken this to a shop 20 minutes from our house as opposed to an hour and 20 minutes paid half the price and got the exact same job. These guys do an amazing job! There are really only a couple of truly high end detailers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and these guys are among the best. Brian is the man! He knows what he is doing when it comes to detailing cars. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my cars. There are plenty of good detailers in Dallas but few that are great and even fewer that take absolute PRIDE in what they do. Brian is an artist and his work speaks for itself. Brian did and his crew did an excellent job on my 2007 BMW 335i sedan. I was lucky to find out about Detail Werkz through Living Social when there was a deal for the Onyx package. I paid the optional price to get the engine bay clean and condition the interior and I am happy that I got this because it definitely made the car look brand new. Overall my experience with Detail Werkz was well worth the price I paid. After seeing my car fully detailed, the car looked way better than it did at the dealer's show room. Brian washed my car (the red Ferrari 458 showing in the image he posted showing it in front of his shop) 4 times. Although I was generally satisfied with the outcome, the last time he scratched my 300K car on the rear fender. It was a relatively minor but visible scratch like a white hair. He insisted that he wanted to sand it and buff it himself and he would not reimburse any expense if I would take it to a body shop of my preference. I would not let this guy touch my car again with a ten foot pole let alone allow him to perform body work. I took my car to a reputable body shop and they fixed the damage in 45 minutes for $100. I find his behavior unprofessional and of course he will never see my business again. Not only he scratched my car, but he refused to take responsibility. I paid $ 445 for a detailed wax on my 2012 Mercedes S550. After careful review, I found all the interior compartments were not cleaned. Likewise, I have major "swirl" marks that should have been removed by any nomal buffing, especially for $ 445. I emailed a request to Detail Werkz asking for someone to come back out to properly clean and remove swirl marks on my almost new car. Detail Werkz email reply from Brian stated they do not clean gloveboxes or compartments because people leave valuables/money in them. Also, swirl mark removal will be an extra $ 100 per hour under "paint correction". What?????? My car is garaged with 20k miles...like new. Very disappointed in the overall results. What even makes me more mad is that I paid another $ 450 for my wifes car.....almost $ 1000 to these guys. My recommendation....pay any other detail place the normal $ 225 for full detail and get much better results. read more

I would be careful in dealing with this company.They charged me for services on my vehicle that were not even performed or completed properly. The owner, Brian, assured me that my car would look "better than new," and I paid a great deal of money to find out that this was a complete lie. My car actually left his shop in worse condition as I found many swirl marks throughout the vehicle that he created, which was very apparent especially when looking at the vehicle from different angles in the sun. In addition I found some parts of my vehicle that were not worked on at all, the rear trunk panel had been completely skipped out and my wheels were never washed and polished (but he sure did charge me for it).Overall, he kept my car for longer than the estimated time frame, and completely overcharged me for a service I could have done myself with better results. There were other issues at fault as well, which is why I'm taking the time to write this review (so no one else makes the same mistake I did.) Maybe others have had better luck, or maybe they've received the same sloppy work as me but just didn't know the difference (or how to judge A+ professional detail work). Warning: STAY AWAY from Detail Werkz! They will steal your money!! I bought a LivingSocial deal for Detail Werkz and scheduled an appointment online before the deal expired. I received my confirmation e-mail, so I was good to go. On the day of my scheduled appointment, I tried to get my car detailed at the address listed on the deal, but there was no physical location for Detail Werkz. I finally got a hold of the owner Brian H, and he had rescheduled my appointment to that Friday. He explained to me that they no longer had a physical address and their mobile unit will show up at my employer's location. On that Friday, July 26, 2012, I wait all day for them to show up. I get an e-mail from Brian that they are 2.5 hours behind, and he was going to move me to a 10 am slot the following week. I call and e-mail him several times to confirm my appointment, but no response from him. I tried to request for a full refund from LivingSocial, but unfortunately, they told me I have to resolve my issue with the vendor. Detail Werkz will not refund my money...
