We were told that No Bull was the place to go by our salesperson Blake, who did a fantastic job. When we arrived at the restaurant, it was very clean, well decorated and had a wide variety of seating choices. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and the prices on the menu were reasonable. We placed our order and it came out in a very reasonable amount of time. Our order consisted of Ribs, Chicken, Brisket, Mac and Cheese, Cole Slaw and Banana Pudding. Now my buddy and I are not small guys, we both are over 6'2" tall and dare I say would make any offensive lineman coach beg us to play in our younger days. Anyway I digress, in short we both know BBQ. And hands down NO BULL is the best of the best. I have traveled far and wide and before eating at NO BULL, I have found that Kansas City was the best BBQ in the world. Joe's Original Garage, Arthur Bryant's, Jack Stack, Gate's all are top notch restaurants and feature their own unique specialty of BBQ. I highly recommend NO BULL. BTW: The portions were so large I couldn't finish my ribs and had to get a TOGO box. P.S. Make room for dessert.

The menu has the usual pub fare - wings, burgers, salads, and sandwiches. But on Saturdays and Sundays from 9-1, the menu expands to things like omelets, hash, Benedicts and breakfast sandwiches. So, when our Friday night hotel bartender recommended Lucky's for breakfast, well, we knew where we'd be headed. The breakfast service we encountered on Saturday was extraordinary, so hats off to our server Beth. Our party of ten walked in when breakfast opened, and she quickly set up a few long tables for our group. Oh, and she set out two coloring activities and crayons for the two young guests in our group. Our breakfast started with complimentary bowls of popcorn and we saw some very interesting eye openers on the menu, like a Breakfast Punch (with Rum, orange and pineapple juice, strawberry purée, and ginger ale), a Lucky's Blueberry Pancake Shooter (with Stoli Blueberry vodka, Butterscotch, Orange Bacardi, and a slice of bacon) and a Keoki Coffee (with Kahlua, Baileys Irish Cream, coffee and whipped cream). We passed on these alcoholic temptations; Beth took our orders flawlessly and the food started rolling out of the kitchen in no time. We started off with a order of Beignets for the table ($9.99) - "Deep-fried beignets made with croissant dough, topped with powdered sugar & a side of strawberry jam. I tried one and it was very good -piping hot, light as a feather, but surprisingly not greasy. My wife ordered a Ham and Cheese Omelet ($13.99 served with her choice of toast and a side of fresh fruit, home fries or cheesy baked hash browns. It was a generous portion and the fruit cup she ordered was fresh and tasty. My Cajun Hash ($15.49 with Andouille disks, shredded chicken, two big shrimp, peppers, onions, cheesy hash, & scrambled eggs) was one of the best breakfasts I've had all year. It was a gigantic portion, and I was more than full with half of it. Beth was automatic with the coffee refills, was very sweet dealing with the two children in our party and gladly gave our couples separate checks. One very cool thing we saw was a "Treasure chest" full of children's toys, coloring books, and activities as freebies for the little darlings that visit. These weren't junky dollar store toys, but some nice stuff. We could not have been happier with our breakfast at Lucky's 13.

This time around was better, they had an impossible burger, a really nice sounding salad and a "bowl", plus apps. Always wish for a place with some thing special like a good black bean burger or veggie burger, but beggars cant be choosers. The bun and the topping for their burgers were very good, which makes a difference with an impossible burger. The fries were "meh", but the cauliflower hot wings were quite good (not more than once have I been to a restaurant that messes those up). Service was quite good and attentive. Drink menu had some unique options too.
