BEWARE......My car had just broke down and I needed something in order to get back and forth to my daughter who was in Rehab after a bad car wreck. I looked online and found a White suburban that look good cosmetically on the pictures. I called the number and Jason responded by text.He gave me the address. The ad said it was like $1049 down.I borrowed my mom's car and went that day. I get there tested drove the car and I noticed that the check engine light was on. Jason assured me that they would fix that with no charge. The truck seemed to be in good shape on the inside and outside. The truck was advertised at $9,000ish total. I ended up putting 3,000 down and deferring $500. The $500 would be due with my next payment. On the 17th I paid $876. Jason had showed me how much he purchased the car from the auction and papers showing that the transmission was repaired. When I took the Truck to the shop to repair what they promised to fix. The truck was making a knocking sound and what seemed to me to be the transmission slipping. I was told diagnosis was $79 a hour to see what was wrong with it. They told me it was the rocker arm which was $2,000 with parts and labor. Supposedly the owner said he would split the cost with me after I threw a fit that I just purchased the truck not even a month ago. I paid $946 for them to fix the truck. As I said before I needed a car in the worst way to get from Balch Springs to Our Children's House in Dallas. I paid my car payments on time as promised. Fast forward to now. The truck started doing the exact same thing it was when they "supposedly' fixed it. The car wouldn't go forward.I texted Jason and he told me to speak to Pat. When I called she was already in defense mood and said you bought the car as is. It's your responsibility to get the car to us and have it diagnosis. She told me it would be the $79 an hour. I said OK and hung up. She called back and told me that once I got the truck there they couldn't promise it would be worked on right away. I said OK and hung up. I never heard from them again until the payment was due on the 17th. They texted me a few days later and said a wrecker was on the way to pick up my car. I texted back and said good. Then they want to ask questions and act concerned. I told them where the car was and they act like they couldn't find it. As if I was lying or have a reason to keep the LEMON they sold me. The owner Jamie contacted me telling me they found the car. Duh! I told you where it was. Now they are asking for the keys and since I'm not going to make a trip to bring them to them, he's threatening to put it on my credit. OK. I knew that! Please DON'T buy from them. I have text and receipts to back up my story. They are out for your Money. They don't care about people. I have washed my hands and took the lost of the money.I purchased the card at the end of February and he we are in May. A complete waste of time and money. Obviously this dealer helps folks with bad credit and that's great but I have learned that there are better vehicles and loans to be had elsewhere. I bought 2 vehicles from them. Got a second on their "trade up program" which all it does it make you more stuck with them since you are rolling over negative equity. It's not a trade up you are just trading in like you would anywhere else. The truck I got had a bad gauge cluster that I mentioned and they said they would fix it. Long story short over a year later and I still have no working gauges. What's even more curious to me is how did the truck passed the safety inspection and how was it legally sold without a working check engine light? That is a big no no and should have never been legally sold by the dealer. After over a year of trying to get this fixed after they suggested I drop off the gauges and keep driving with no gauges while it was being fixed I finally gave up and traded the truck in at another dealer. For over a year I called weekly and was told a different story every time. Shop here if you like but there are better loans and vehicles to be had elsewhere. read more

How does a con shop stay in business and operate like that right under the polices nose. There needs to be an investigation into the business practices of this chop shop. They to change the name to texas best lying a-holes that takes advantage of peoples good fortune and makes it there own pr#%KS. Lol. Cracked myself up. But it's not funny it's tragic and sad. I'm getting some people together that are tired of losing money and being taken advantage of and I'm going to picket this place until an investigation is open and something is done. I bought my 2007 Dodge 3500 from Mickey at Texas Best. I needed a good work truck that is dependable so I stopped in and asked him what he had that would work for me. I told him I had a bankruptcy before and basically my credit was shot. Mickey said "no problem that's what we are here for"! He explained in-house financing and how it worked. I told him I only had a trade and a small amount of cash and he said lets look at what you got and if I can swing it you will be the owner of that truck!! The biggest crook in Texas work and own Texas "best" Pre-Owned. I had to get the government to intervene during my dealings with the con-artist at this dealership. They harassed me every month with threats, would say they did not receive my payments, when they had received them, and would cash two checks at the same time. They have Bibles laying around their offices, and Christian signs on the wall to assist in their fooling folks.
