Amazing shrimp and wings!!! They were out of crab legs but the crab knuckles were good. No refills sadly but good service. Inside was small but cool and has 2-3 tvs

Forget the negative reviews, food is great, fresh and fast. Ordered the small shrimp boil ( not so small), with Cajun spice, I like it hot. Shrimp, potatoes, corn and sausage were delicious and cooked perfectly. First but not last time here, my only complaint is I'm here in Seguin on business so asked for utensils which were not given, luckily hotel had some. It's so good though I would have eaten with my hands lol.

First visit as we don't make it to Seguin very often, but we definitely believe that this seafood spot is worth a return trip. Small local place with friendly, quick service. Very accommodating to a special request from my wife for a plate not specified on the menu. The order came out quickly, and everything was fresh and hot. Iced tea was pretty good, and a heads up that the soft drinks are cans in case that matters to some folks. Limited seating inside, so we enjoyed our meal on the covered front patio area, which was very pleasant on a cooler day. Definitely recommend you give it a try. It's a definite winner for fried seafood as well as crab or shrimp boils.

This was our first time eating here. All of the food was delicious. Very generous with the butter and seasoning in the boil. It did get busy around 5. Customer service was great!

Shrimp poboy = delicious! Lightly battered, cooked perfectly, & the bread was the perfect ratio.

We tried this place as we passed through Seguin after looking at reviews on here. We were very pleased with their poboys & calamari. It is a tiny place, but luckily we stopped in between crowds. Staff was nice & helpful. Prices were great. Food was served quickly, hot, & perfectly cooked. Normally poboys have too much bread for my liking, but this bread was amazing! Light, airy, & the perfect ratio to seafood, lettuce, tomatoes, & sauce. We will definitely order these again! The fries were super crispy & seasoned well too. The calamari was another win as it was cooked perfectly, not tough at all. We normally prefer a lighter batter on calamari, but this was very tasty. We look forward to visiting again on another trip through town.

Food is amazing and portions where spot on. Service was very fast but the restaurant could use a good cleaning and indoor seating is very limited to only 4-5 tables. I would definitely eat here again for ver another other "fast food" restaurant in town.

We had a party of 20 plus and they accommodated us with ease. We were sat at two long tables, and we had two waitresses to take care of us, and they did. Super job from the whole staff. Very friendly and polite. I had the chicken fried steak, the portion was large, took up the whole plate. The meat was all the way to the edge, with the breading. Just the way it should be. I had Mac and cheese, and cream corn. Very good tasting. Maria had the chicken strips with gravy and fries. I'm not much a fan of steak fries, but these were done perfectly. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Andrew had the chicken Alfredo, what a meal, especially for an 11year old, but he took care of that plate all by himself. We also had a slice of coconut cream pie, oh boy, it was so good. For some reason, my pictures won't post.

The name of the restaurant should have been self explanatory: Ocean Blue OYSTER bar, but it was anything but. I didn't know how to navigate the menu-- there's Thai food, but also cajun food?? I opted for a little bit of everything: a pound of garlic butter crawfish, papaya salad, and their crawfish étouffée. But... even with a full spread of dishes, not a single thing was good. I love a good leftover, but it wasn't even worth salvaging. WHY: The crawfish had zero flavor. Making crawfish is an art, and the artist here is clearly a novice--you can tell it was rushed. The papaya salad should have been light and refreshing, but boy, the fish sauce overwhelmed every bite. Lastly the étouffée... was far from an actual etoufee. The roux was off, the texture was more like gumbo SOUP, and I barely found any crawfish in it.

Initially, the hostess told us they couldn't accommodate our party, but then they changed their mind. The interaction felt uncomfortable, as she emphasized their policies for large groups and mentioned that they normally require a minimum of $145 per person. She ultimately allowed us to bypass that requirement as long as everyone ordered an entrée. Our waitress, however, was wonderful and provided excellent service throughout the meal. I ordered the clam and mussel pot, which I found surprisingly bland, though the bread was delicious. The rest of my group seemed to enjoy their meals much more than I did. Unfortunately, there were also some cleanliness concerns. A spider descended from the ceiling onto our table during dinner, and another bug crawled across the table. There was even a bug zapper in the corner of the restaurant that seemed to be going off constantly throughout our meal. For a party of seven, our bill came to around $700. Given the overall experience, the food quality, and the atmosphere, it felt a bit underwhelming for the price.
