The Texas Crab company truck was in the neighborhood and I didn't feel like cooking so we thought we would try it. We were not upset at all. They were very friendly and you get your food fast! We ordered the fish plate and the buffalo shrimp. Both come with fries. I will start with the fries and shrimp. They were delicious, fries were crunchy and seasoned well. The fish was flaky and crunchy but it could have used a little more seasoning for my taste. Nothing a little hot sauce didn't cure though. The main even was those shrimp! They were really stars of the plate! We will definitely be back to get more of those. Hubby and I decided to split the shrimp and fish since I couldn't stay out of his plate. Did not have a good experience I'm afraid I'm sorry but it is what it is. 45min wait 2nd in line (showed up late) stood in hot sun and they served no drinks. Also the food just wasn't worth it. Corn was soggy and crab was Meh! Cajun poor boy wasn't good either $70 I expected better.. I'll get my crab from HEB since they will steam it for you. read more

Forget the negative reviews, food is great, fresh and fast. Ordered the small shrimp boil ( not so small), with Cajun spice, I like it hot. Shrimp, potatoes, corn and sausage were delicious and cooked perfectly. First but not last time here, my only complaint is I'm here in Seguin on business so asked for utensils which were not given, luckily hotel had some. First visit as we don't make it to Seguin very often, but we definitely believe that this seafood spot is worth a return trip. Small local place with friendly, quick service. Very accommodating to a special request from my wife for a plate not specified on the menu. The order came out quickly, and everything was fresh and hot. Iced tea was pretty good, and a heads up that the soft drinks are cans in case that matters to some folks. Limited seating inside, so we enjoyed our meal on the covered front patio area, which was very pleasant on a cooler day. Definitely recommend you give it a try. This is one of the best places in Seguin for seafood. I always get the small shrimp plate lunch special. It's about 10 broiled shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and corn in seasoned butter of your choice. You definitely get the impression from the building that this is a small family business. There's nothing fancy about it. The crab legs, potatoes, and corn were very tasty. They were very flavorful. However, the crawfish tasted as if they were freeze burnt frozen, then thawed and steamed to be sold. Mind you they were delivered to my table in a styrofoam container with more than 1 inch of water at the bottom of the container. I thought it was flavored sauce until I tasted the substance. Water. The establishment lacks Cleanliness, Customer Obsession, and Quality Service. The tables had not been cleaned. I was not asked if I would like my drink refilled. When I approached the manager about my concerns, she stated no one else complained; then stated she sold 50 lbs of crawfish today. Mind you the table across complained about the exact same issue. The other customer stated, while outside. It is very noticeable when their product is fresh verse frozen. She was not pleased either. Needless to say, I did not feel like a valued customer during my first time visiting. Definitely not pleased with the service. I will not recommend this place to anyone anywhere. read more

Stopped in with the family on a road trip due to the great reviews. Service was friendly. Food was definitely worth the short drive from I-10. My son and I shared the crab and shrimp and my wife and daughter had the shrimp. All of the food was great. Sodas were served in cans, which is on the small size for spicy food. Recommend switching to 20oz bottles and charging a little more if necessary. The ambiance on the porch was nice on this beautiful winter day, but some music and decoration would have added to the experience. Will come back next time I'm in the area. Very good. read more

We tried this place as we passed through Seguin after looking at reviews on here. We were very pleased with their poboys & calamari. It is a tiny place, but luckily we stopped in between crowds. Staff was nice & helpful. Prices were great. Food was served quickly, hot, & perfectly cooked. Normally poboys have too much bread for my liking, but this bread was amazing! Light, airy, & the perfect ratio to seafood, lettuce, tomatoes, & sauce. We will definitely order these again! The fries were super crispy & seasoned well too. The calamari was another win as it was cooked perfectly, not tough at all. We normally prefer a lighter batter on calamari, but this was very tasty. We look forward to visiting again on another trip through town. read more

Unfortunately, don't want to leave a bad review but I think others should know before they spend the $$.​ I got a crab and shrimp plate along with some crawfish. The crawfish were obviously reheated (or had been there an awful long time) and somewhat overcooked with minimal flavor. The crab was close to the same but a little better. That was disappointing but I could have dealt with that. The main issue was both plates were absolutely smothered in a butter sauce. We're talking 1/4 inch+ in the bottom of both plates. I normally eat 5 lbs of crawfish in maybe 10 minutes. I couldn't even eat 2 lbs because my hands and mouth were nothing but an oily, greasy mess. I didnt realize Id need a throw away shirt just to eat The potoatoes were good (sliced) but again in so much butter sauce you couldn't really enjoy them. The shrimp were cooked pretty well. Overall, would not go back. Thats a shame because I was happy to see something in the area since choices are limited. To be clear, this was from the food truck that travels. read more

My dad requested we take him here for Father's Day, so we obliged. When we walked in, my dad commented that he'd been there previously with my mother, and she didn't like the smell of it. I agreed that it smelled a little fishy, but we were down to eat! And eat we did!!! My husband and I split the large crab and shrimp tray and my dad got the fried fish. Dad was really happy, but my husband and I were absolutely shocked at how good this food was. It is now a week later, and we're going back! This is our new go to place in Seguin. read more

We stopped by on our way home from Houston after a martial arts tournament. Isn't amazing how you find these places randomly? Well this is one of the best, if not the best seafood places we have EVER been too. The price, the flavors, etc etc etc. We got messy! But loved it. It's small and I think not really intended to be a sit in restaurant. We didn't care. This is one of the few places we would drive too from San Antonio just to eat. The list is short. We were super disappointed with our shrimp and crab boil. We added an extra crab cluster, and extra shrimp. When we picked up the food right on time for what we were "it would be the preparation time, the container did not feel very warm. We got home and found that the crab had been over boiled, the shrimp was over boiled, the corn was mushy and soggy, and the potatoes were in little tiny pieces as opposed to chunks. We had eaten from this establishment, at least four or five times previously and never had a problem. We ended up throwing away the rest of the food and we're super disappointed. I think they just reheated or re-boiled some stuff at the end of the night since we were to be there at 7:30 PM, which is approximately the time they close. When we got to the drive up window, the girl said she couldn't find or didn't know about our order which I thought was strange, but anyway disappointing, disappointing. Disappointing and I'm bummed because we always thought we had this place to go to as a fresh seafood place that would not let us down. But last night it sure did. read more

Great food and I'd have to say perhaps the best seafood in the area for what it is - a place that specializes in platter style boiled crab and shrimp, sausage, potatoes, corn, etc,. Now there's also the Cajun/fried selections which looked good however for me, why go fried when the boiled selections are just spot-on delicious! Price was also on point too. My hungry family of 5 - wife had the large shrimp tray and the rest of us shared 2 platters which for a combined total of 5 crab clusters (3 + 2), 50-ish nice sized shrimp, sausage, loads of potatoes washed down by 5 large drinks. Whoa!! Filled our bellies, filled a to-go box/carton and still threw some potatoes and sausage away. With tip, $130 - quite reasonable.. Will be back, no doubt. read more

Service was great and friendly. The food was perfect. Great Flavor. I ordered a Shrimp PoBoy. I had only had one many many years ago in New Orleans La. Though we spent 17 years in Louisiana and have eaten great Sea Food in Many places as well as cooking it. The Flavor was spot on. Cajun . I think Mike ordered Crab legs . Each of us ordered differently. We all agreed the food was Great. Prices were good about what you might expect today for Sea food. So if you are going for a real treat give this little place a shot. I would list it in the $$ to $$$ price range depending on what you order. Casual eating , plenty of paper towels. Friendly service. For those who drink there is a bar. This has happened to me 3 times now. They close an hour or more before the time that is listed on Facebook and google. 2 hours ago they posted on facebook they would be open till 8. I called at 7:15 to place to go order. I was placed on hold, after 6 minutes I hung up and tried called again. They had turned the phones off. I called several times. During this my husband went through the drive through at 7:30 to be told that they did not have enough to give him a whole tray.
