Meh for the event. Food was good but lacked good service for this location. Usually a very good place to enjoy.

Be aware when they ask you if you want sparkling or still water, the waitress brought two bottles of expensive water, $8.00 a bottle and opened both, I told her I didn't order them and she proceeded to pour one in our glasses, don't know why she opened both, I guess because she didn't want to take the second off the bill. She did the same to two others at the table next to us, brought two $8.00 bottles for on two people. I wonder how many others had their bills padded for her tip. I didn't say anything else because it was Mother's Day and I didn't want to cause a scene. I've been here 5 times and have never had this happen. The potatoes on the salad bar and side items brought to our table were very cold, not even lukewarm and they kept bringing only sirloin, chicken and sausage around. I was not going to leave a review, but then I read one that was very similar to our experience. Someone left a review about an $8.00 bottle of water that they were unaware of ordering. We felt obligated to pay for it since we consumed it. We did not order it. I honestly thought it was part of the meal charge. I did not think that anyone would be dishonest. Our waiter purposefully deceived us and was likely doing it to a lot of other customers. We also had to wait a very long time for very little food. In my experience with similar restaurants, I've actually had to turn my card over to red because they brought me too much food. This was quite the opposite experience. No one came by for a very long time. After a while, we finally ended up asking if they could send a few more meat servers (gauchos) to our table. Last night my boyfriend and I went to Texas de Brazil to celebrate our anniversary. Overall, the food itself was phenomenal and we really enjoyed the experience at first. However, as the night went on our server became noticeably less attentive, which unfortunately changed how the evening ended. At the beginning of the meal I asked our server which drinks were part of happy hour. She directed us to the first page of the drink menu, so we ordered from there. When we received the bill, we realized the drinks we ordered were actually not part of the happy hour menu. It was frustrating to specifically ask and still not be directed to the correct drinks. We also ordered desserts to go and ended up waiting over 20 minutes at the table before they were finally brought out. What started as a wonderful anniversary dinner didn't end that way. The food was fantastic, but I wish the wait staff had been better trained or more attentive. This location is really hit or miss. When they first opened I understood the staff needed training and supported this new business in the area. Visited a few more time and the service improved. However, I came for Father's Day weekend and food service was horrible. The most recent gauchos (server) did not know what they were doing. They did not bring around meats to all the tables, if they did, the meat was raw. Instead of taking it back to the kitchen to cook the outside again, they would come to the table and say it was "medium" rare" when it was very rare. If you did get a cut of meat some servers would splatter you with meat juices. Our waitress tried her best to assist and ask us if we wanted particular cuts. Whenever service was bad, it's always been the gauchos. The gauchos need more training before they should be allowed to serve guests or partner up with more experienced team members before serving on their own. I could see other guests in our area not getting much service as well. Food options have grown in NWA. I won't be visiting this location anymore. I'll stick to other Texas locations or other Brazilian steakhouses. read more

Went here to celebrate a birthday. Noted it on the reservation and even told the host when we checked in. We were seated immediately. Our server came by our table right away and took our drink order, gave us a quick rundown of the restaurant even though we said we had been to Texas de Brazil before, and told us we could begin at any time. The food was disappointing. It was overly salty as many reviews have said. The slices were very thin and because of that meat didn't stay warm on our cold plates. The salad bar area was mediocre with the usuals. Nothing to highlight. The Jazmine (yes, that's how they spelled it) rice was undercooked so it was hard. The au gratin potatoes were watery and sliced paper thin so it wasn't enjoyable. The lobster bisque was just flavored with lobster ... don't expect pieces or anything lobster-like. The meat kept coming out but there were so many of them lining up to serve and the slices were so thin, the meat was all disappointingly cold by the time we got to it. My son is 12 and we were charged full price for him even though he barely ate a plate of food. There was NO Acknowledgement that we were there for a special occasion. We were offered to see the dessert tray, but after a very expensive and disappointing meal we decided to not spend any more money here. As we were getting ready to leave, a group of bigger sized guests walked in and we overhead the server and I'm assuming, manager since she was dressed differently, commented on how the guests were going to get their moneys worth of food and better tell the staff to get ready for eaters. Extremely insensitive and for what they charge per person, who cares! Save your money, avoid the Texas de Brazil in Rogers, AR and find yourself a local steakhouse or Ruth Chris down the street! Everything came out so good. It was our first time there and we went there for valentines dinner. All the meat was top tear. Only complaint was that the sides were cold (french fries and mashed potatoes). The Brazilian cheesy bread was so good too! The service was top tier, everyone was so nice and right on top of things. Incredibly disappointed and will never be back. I frequented this restaurant in a different city, so when my sister got a promotion we decided on this restaurant as a special treat. Boy was I embarrassed. We had to ask the waiter AND manager 3 times for someone to bring us meat, I don't understand why we kept getting passed up. The manager, an older woman, was unprofessional and actually ROLLED her eyes at my mother. Thank god she didn't notice and we didn't tell her until we were in the parking lot. My mom never gets mad, especially at restaurant staff since she was a server for years, she knows. But this was ridiculous. On top of that a literal fight broke out between the cooks, which we got front row seats to. They then took it outside and we still had front row seats to the fight going on outside. We came in on a Sunday afternoon right after they opened, and sat at the bar. Andrew was our bartender and he was phenomenal, extremely personable and very kind. Out of the food runners/meat carvers, Chris stood out in particular as he would come by and do different accents including Scottish, Jamaican, and British; he would just put a smile on our face every time. Food was delicious. Service was really not good. The guy was serving so many tables on his own he couldn't keep up. There was food on the floor, very slippery in some spots. To start, we ordered one coconut drink and two peach drinks. We got one coconut and two mango drinks. Sent the two mangos back for two peach, then we received two pineapple.... Sent it back for our peach. We also asked our server for the desert menu, never got it. We decided to get the check and go. Waited 20 minutes to get the check and pay. A carnivores delight. This was my first time at a Texas de Brazil, but I have been to plenty of rodizio style restaurants before and this one is very good - on par with fogo de chao. Nonstop endless meats are served medium rare, but you can ask for more well done if you like. The included salad bar is to die for - so much good food there! Just don't fill up too much on it or you'll miss out on all the wonderful meats. The place was clean, service amazing. I wasn't going to leave a review here, but I see several poor reviews that just are not fitting at all with my experience here. I highly recommend checking it out if you love meat. read more

The Texas de Brazil in OKC was where I fell in love with this chain. I could not have been more excited when the opened one in Rogers. We went for the first time last weekend and I was extremely disappointed. The meat was lacking salt. It was almost as if they were not using it in the kitchen. It's sad when you use the table salt to season your picanha and flank steak. The the salad bar was great as always and the lobster bisque was great. I wish they had used actual lobster meat in the bisque though. The service was great as well. He really did everything he could to help satisfy my experience but the kitchen kept falling short. First, every location we have been to they always cook it Medium Rare and if you want it cooked differently then you ask your waiter. At this location every piece of meat came to the table Medium Well. Four times the staff came by with the same cut of meat that I asked for which was Medium Rare and four times in a row it was medium well. The Flank Steak was over cooked and I couldn't even eat it nor wanted to eat it. My husband took his flank steak that was cut for him and pushed it aside on his plate because he wasn't eating it due to be over cooked. My entire table was already ordering dessert and I was so dissatisfied with my dinner I waited until I finally received a Medium Rare cut of meat towards the end of our dinner. If you enjoy Medium Well meat than this is your place but I don't plan on coming back anytime soon. read more

The various meat dishes were served through the night, sometimes with about 5-10 minutes between options and sometimes multiple at once. We ate here last night for my daughters birthday and we'll I'm not sure I would go back. We love the Fogo de Cho in Addison but this place was the only option near Fayetteville where my daughter is in college. The food was ok. Some of the meat was way past medium rare but tasted good. The floor around the salad bar was so greasy I was very careful not to slip. Our service was terrible. They knew it was her birthday and barely came to the table to take away plates and toward the end of the dinner I drank every ones extra water because our waiter who was just hanging out just out of ear shot was not going to refill our glasses. When we asked about dessert he mentioned bananas foster. My daughter who knows how to make bananas Foster ordered that. It came out and was a pre-prepared piece of pie kind of. Our waitress took it upon herself to make 1 persons drink order at our table; everyone's drink order, bringing out 2 bottles of seltzer water, because we did not want alcohol, trying to order other drinks was out of the question for this waitress, she just refused to listen. She was MIA the majority of time we were there, finally fed up, our youngest refused seltzer water & he wanted a soda & the waitress brings it out in a wine glass, we had to ask for a kids cup, the waitress looked annoyed; I asked for tap water, ice & lemon, she tells me there's seltzer water on the table & comes out with a empty wine glass with lemons around the rim, I ask for ice, finally get ice, I ask for tap water again, she comes out with a dirty glass of tap water & food floating on top. I'm not understanding her train of thought, everyone at our table was highly frustrated with the experience, no one was making rounds to our table with any meat for over 30 minutes. Not worth $250 for a table of 4 & I cannot recommend. They need better trained staff & they need to respect families that do not drink alcohol because they push extremely hard at the beginning of the dining experience to sell alcohol. I've heard great things about other Texas De Brazil locations, the location in Rogers, Arkansas is a huge disappointment though. Our first visit was excellent. Our second visit not so much. We were seated in a back room at a two seat table. The other table in the room had 10 people half of whom being small children. While the steak was good it was the only meat item we had an opportunity to try. Maybe even the servers didn't want to here the shrieking of 5 YO girls.
