We stopped by Texas Leather Interiors in Spring just to look. Brien took the time to explain how TLI process works. Before long we were testing floor models and decided to take home some fabrics of leather. Ordered a couch with reclining ends, and two separate recliners. Custom high quality leather and the different options allowed us to pick our finishes. Brien told us about 3 months custom order, but order arrived in 9 weeks. We have been so disappointed in our purchases. The furniture sits nothing like the set in the show room. Beyond the furniture being uncomfortable and not what we hoped for appearance-wise, it has not held up well. A repairman came out to address the sagging of the leather on the back of the sofa but informed me that it would happen again as soon as I used my recliner so it wasn't worth fixing. I don't usually recline the seat, so the unevenness and sagging (pictured below) seems excessive. On a positive note, the staff is very pleasant even though they were unable to remedy any of our problems. read more

We purchased a sofa, love seat, chair and ottoman all in leather from the Houston, north I-45 store. We began shopping on the website so we knew the style and models we were looking for. The quality looks very good. The store has hundreds of color samples and we found the right ones for us. Brien was very helpful and patient as we wrestled with the exact colors. Delivery was earlier than the original time window which was a nice surprise. The delivery workers were timely, polite and treated the furniture with care. We went to the store and were very impressed by the quality of couches. And we were told that all couches were custom made and any couch in the store can be made into a sectional or sofa and love seat. They let us take home samples of the Leather we liked and didn't push us to make a decision. We finally made up our minds and ordered a sectional. It came sooner than expected and it is beautiful. A lot of leather furniture to look at, but they tell me only 10% on the floor. Can go on their site and call for quotes. The prices in store are MSRP, which is higher than you would pay. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Journey and Brian were great to deal with, no high pressure, great suggestions, and since I was moving to TX and not available to pick the leather, Journey sent me swatches twice. Even though I had to wait due to the China virus delays, I received EXACTLY what I wanted. I had been looking for the perfect dining room table and they had it! My dining room table is fantastic, and the sofa and loveseat are the most comfortable that I've really ever sat in.....no exaggeration. Their products are very high quality without the crazy price tags, and if you're into something that's slightly unique and personalized just for you, this is the place to go to find pieces that no one else has. Even when I got a little grouchy/impatient with the wait, Journey was always sweet and helpful. Don't go anywhere else for your furniture. They're the best! read more

We bought a sectional sofa from Texas Leather Interiors approximately three years ago. Over the past year, the dye has been significantly wearing off the cushions. We are well past the warranty date, but Texas Leather Interiors gave us a really good price to replace the cushions (about half the cost of having them re-dyed. Not impressed with the condescending attitude. Salesman lied to me saying the leather I wanted was ONLY AVAILABLE from their store. Once he said that, I knew right away his character was not what I wanted to deal with. Leather stores buy their leather from companies who only deal in leather. Leather is dyed in only a few places. By the next day, I had talked with the leather manufacturer, confirming what I knew and I also was able to learn where else I could order what I wanted in the color I wanted.... which I never would have done had he been respectful and honest. Reminded me of the used car salesman with the Sale only lasting as long as you were day...and gone if you walked out the door. Too much competition out there where you can buy same brand and same leather so no need to give someone like this the business. read more

We shopped at many stores before we found one that fit our style and what we were looking for. We felt the pricing was a little out of our price range and the store was willing to work with us to bring the pricing down. I have now had my sectional sofa for about one week. It seems to be very well made, and the leather is exceptional. I really like their manual recliner mechanism. The activating lever is hidden between the arm and the cushion, unlike the rather unsightly arm on the outside of the seat most others have. read more

We recently purchased two sofas from Texas Leather Interiors. The leather is one where there are two colors, a base dye and a subsequently applied surface color. About two months after receiving them, the surface dye began flaking off in places (I'm sure that flaking is not the correct technical term, but...). We contacted our salesman, Charles Pilkilton. He recorded our complaint and told us to live with it for a while longer. This was important because in order to get the customer service result we desired (replacement, not repair) the defect had to be obvious and significant. Well, we did and so did the defect. I'm happy to say that Texas Leather is replacing both of our sofas. We just chose the new leather yesterday and look forward to receiving our new furniture. In today's world doing business with a company that truly stands behind their product and working with a salesman who really understands his product, the process and is dedicated to making his customer happy is refreshing indeed! read more
