And refuses to return. None of us are prefect, but I'm private and only one side was heard. Grace wasn't given, love needed to be earned. This church was the final straw and after decades of me searching for God, this Church taught our family that Faith comes from us and not a building full of judges. My kid saw it before I ever did. And that's heartbreaking. Since we left...we coparent and our kids are thriving without having to meet so many moral expectations. So maybe the heights saved us in the end.

(The one I attend is for the 50+ age group at 9:30 a.m., so we can attend 11 a.m., and we love it too. It's called Open Door.) Financial inconsistencies and unexpected fees, notably with summer program charges that were not clearly explained or justified. - PARENTS, PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS LIKE "WHY IS MY PART TIME STUDENT PAYING THE SAME AMOUNT FOR SUMMER ACTIVITIES AS THE FULL TIME STUDENT IF THEY ARE NOT ATTENDING ALL ACTIVITIES THAT THE FEES ARE PAYING FOR. Payment and late payment procedures are inconsistent and the front office staff aggressively bully. They had journals; the teacher would have a sentence written on the board before class begins daily and the students would copy it, using the finger space method to space out the words. This place does not use worksheets at nor are they practicing writing their names or anything else. They are not practicing holding pencils or writing ANYTHING!!! In three weeks of attendance, she brought home ONE picture she had drawn- ONE!!!. Granted, she missed a couple days during her time enrolled here, I refuse to believe they were actually doing any kind of schoolwork on those days my child happened to not be there. I thought I'd be able to rely on this school, however it is hardly a school; it's a kiddy jail with a pre k teacher that doesn't have patience and screaming is the only way she can try to keep control of the classroom. I may lose patience with my little one at home from time to time, however I will not PAY someone else to do it on a daily basis. I confronted the teacher about this on my daughter's second day, repeating to her what my daughter had told me. She admitted " Yes, I do scream, I do get loud with them, but I always apologize though." Excuse me!!! WHYYY are you screaming at 4 & 5 year olds!?!?! Mind blowing!!! I am in agreement with the other reviews that stated they had the feel that this place strictly about business. I would not be surprised if they are offering discounts for positive reviews, because ain't NO WAY!!!

The kids stay active and engaged, the summer program has field trips and fun events on site (the bubble truck was my daughter's favorite). The after-school care allows her to get her energy out after sitting in school all day. I also love that the kids get some Bible time as well. Their prices are perfectly reasonable, especially considering all the activities available for the kids. Lionheart is perfect for us. I plan on bringing my daughter there for the next few years.

It's not a fancy facility by any means, but the counselors are great and he's never bored. They have homework time and play time in the afternoons which is sometimes indoors, sometimes at the park next door. The price cannot be beat either; it's about half what any private facility would charge. If we didn't like Dottie Lynn I'd pay more to have him go somewhere else, but he's very happy here and I trust the staff. -- if you're looking at Dottie Lynn for other reasons such as the gym etc. I cannot really comment, but the facility in general is relatively old and not fancy - so I suspect they aren't a state of the art workout facility.

I worked in daycare for 1 year and half before which frightened me even more to see first hand some teachers just don't care or have any love & passion for children. I was searching daycares everyday just off lots of review and high stars yet when I came across More To Learn on Yelp that had no review It was nobody but God leading me to this daycare! When I checked out the site and saw her family photo, I just immediately felt comfort in my spirit! (Strange I know lol) I legit stop looking because I wanted to visit this daycare and confirm why I felt it was the ONE! I loved Ms Ashley immediately and had my mind made up! My husband is VERY picky and protective of our son so I knew when he said it's a YES it was our pick! I love this childcare and when I drop my son off and go to work, I don't feel any worries and that's a big deal!!!! Great family friendly environment! She has been an AMAZING & LOVING teacher to our son and shows care and concern for everything!!! Even the smallest things we may have not noticed. Sylvan is that place, exactly what and where my kids need to be. Danny (aka Mr.Danny as my kids call him) has truly been a blessing. I was at a loss trying to find a place. I told myself this is the last place I'm going to try and it should have been the first place I tried. Danny was kind, helpful, and most importantly UNDERSTANDING!!
