My wife's cranberry walnut chicken salad sub was also tasty but the chicken salad was extremely sparse.... less than 1/2" thick for the length of the sandwich. For a $27+ charge, the sandwiches were good but overpriced for what we got. The store, though, is very interesting and I would not hesitate to buy some of their imported goods, but doubt that I would get sandwiches again. Too bad, I had high hopes. After living in Framingham almost 7 years, I have yet to find a great sub shop. When we lived in the North Shore, great sub shops seemed to be everywhere.

They had some bizarre chemical taste that lingered in the mouth for quite a while, and we all had to rinse with a drink to get rid of it. We are never buying chocolates from Dulce Leche again. The meat section could source their meat more judiciously - the chicken wings I got were too large, and the skins on them were too fatty. They were priced well however. The biggest disappointment was that there weren't enough fresh items (for a store called "Fresh Market"). The leafy greens section of the store was fairly sparsely populated. The market should work to find some local producers (or at least closer to MA) and educate shoppers on the importance of fresh vegetables. It's worth seeing how they develop the store once business starts running.

Picked up some Turkey Dinners for Thanksgiving as I was told the outpost farm is a very popular…read moreplace for thanksgiving turkeys. Since I only needed enough food for two and didn't want to do the whole cooking all day thing, I got a premade dinner that consisted of turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and butternut squash - plus gravy and cranberry sauce. The portions/serving sizes were huge - had plenty and then some, leftovers for days!! We got it a few days early and put it in the freezer to keep...Took it out two days before eating time and let it defrost in the fridge. Transferred everything but the turkey to pots/pans on the stove for heating instead of the microwave and put the turkey in the oven day of. It was super easy to reheat everything and get it to temp. I had concerns about the mashed potatoes as those can be weird sometimes but they reheated perfectly. Everything tasted SO good, full of flavor, and very delish! The turkey was very moist and tender - like fall apart and the flavor of the gravy, and sides were all excellent. I think this was probably one of the best turkeys I have had. Definitely want to try the outpost farm again as I am sure everything they have is great. I was very happy with the choice and outcome and it made our Thanksgiving meal like a home cooked meal minus the mess and all the cooking lol.
