Sleep clinic technicians were nice enough. But the sleeping area is below average, the pictures on this google profile were not accurate to the actual setup. Very generic room with very uncomfortable sleeping conditions. The mattress was cheap motel quality and the bedding situation was very poor. I would recommend bringing your own bedding & pillows to help improve your sleep, the mattress still sucks regardless. You would figure that a sleep clinic would have better sleeping conditions considering how much money they charge. I asked about my sleep results & equipment I was told I would receive the morning I completed the testing and was told they don't do that and was sent home. Told them I received instructions via phone & email that I would get results and equipment if needed at the appointment and was told that they don't do that by the technicians. An hour after driving home I got a call from the clinics respiratory therapist telling me the technicians were mistaken and I was as indeed supposed to get my results and equipment like I was originally told them. I had to drive back to the clinic in Fort Worth rush hour traffic and get everything. Very frustrating *Update* Retested at a well established clinic and tested negative on sleep apnea with a 1.3 AHI, these guys made this process more complicated than it needed to be and refused to offer a retest, but instead tried complaining to my company about receiving negative feedback & insisted I was a poor patient who couldn't except bad results and needed to be satisfied with my sleep apnea diagnosis. They since have deleted their comment on this review for whatever reason. Apparently them sending me an unsolicited $50 visa gift card was supposed to make up for these issues and keep me quiet. This clinic is definitely not worth the hassle & hostilities from management. If I were to have listened to them and not retested I would still be on unnecessary treatment equipment. Second opinions are necessary especially when you are dealing with unprofessionals like this place has. Do yourself a favor & go to North Texas Lung & Sleep Clinic, Dr David Ostransky is definitely not retired and still treating patients at his Hulen clinic, plus they have a much nicer sleep situation including private bathroom & showers for after your study. All done in house with clinical testing options onsite. read more

Once your doctor refers you to them they look on you like a cash cow. Expect to pay "convenience fees," not for your convenience but just because they know they can force you to pay in order to get the medical care you need. Imagine if doctors and hospitals and pharmacies, in addition to getting copays and deductibles from you and payments from your insurance company could just charge you as much more as they think they can get away with and call it "a convennce fee." This is what this company does. They excel at ripping people off. One wonders how well they do at the medical diagnostics they claim to offer. read more

This review is not about this location specifically. It's about their scheduling people. They are the rudest most incompetent,Inconsiderate company I've dealt with. They tried to charge me $800 upfront the first call when scheduling my sleep study and I have insurance. Then the 2nd call they tried to charge me $600. Again I still have insurance. I contacted my referring doctor and they negotiated with them to break the payment in half. Again I have insurance but that was better than paying up front. When they called me back to schedule I explained what my referring Doctor told me and the lady pretty much called me a lier and said they don't do that. I asked her to check the notes to see who my doctors office talked to and they would see that I wasn't lying. The lady said there were no notes and showed no desire to try and look. They wasted 3 weeks of my time. I found out that I actually had options and didn't have to use them. I went to Hope sleep study and low and behold they only charged me my $40 co-pay. It took me 3 days to get scheduled and my sleep study completed. It makes me wonder why this company was trying to charge me so much up front. Do Not trust this company. They will apparently scam you on top of treating you poorly. read more

Dr. Quack Grimes at one time was a great doctor... He cared about his patients ( as well as his employees ) but at some point, he changed... Corporate greed ? ‍ maybe .. he has eliminated his team that answers the phone... After 3 days of trying schedule an appointment or even speak to a human I have given up. If you call the number you get into a call tree that asks you which doctor you need to see. Since there are no doctors listed on their web site or the Aetna web site, you can only make a guess. I waited on hold for lengthy periods of time, got transferred through the system, got disconnected, spoke to people that put me on hold and got disconnected, received a voice mail system that did not announce the name of the office it was in and after being transferred around to many offices in the company I had no confidence the voice mail would be heard by anyone that could help me. I will need to pick another provider. read more

Overall a bad experience. The sleep study went fine and the week later study with the mask and CPAP machine seemed to go o.k., also. The techs were very nice to work with. From the initial studies until today JULY 12; 2023, it has gone downhill. My doctor got his info on June 20, 2023. Tx Med Diagnostics recommended Aero Med , part of a huge national company called Adapt Health. They were very difficult to work with, as I was told to contact them about a week after my Dr. got the paperwork if I hadn't heard from them. I tried again to get an update in early July from Aero and they said they had a problem getting the paperwork back from the doctor, so I once again was delayed. I talked to Aero this Monday, July 11, and they informed me THAT THE PAPERWORK WAS NEVER PROCESSED. Meanwhile, I had contacted a couple of weeks ago, Major Medical Supply in Ft. Worth, and they said they work with Tx Medical Diagnostics. I called 908 W Terrill Ave. N, where I had my sleep study, and they connected me to a doctor's office, and they said they would fax the info over to Major Medical Supply immediately. I called Major Medical Supply back in a couple of days and they said they didn't have the paperwork. I then called Tx Medical Diagnostics back and gave them a fax number for Major Medical Supply, and once again they connected me to the doctor's office, and they said they would fax over the information right away. I sent an e-mail to Tx Medical Diagnostics out of frustration complaining about all this, and they have finally sent the order to Major Medical Services, and Major called me on Monday, July 11, and said they would try to expedite the paperwork. A long and winding road to get what I need. Just disorganized and indifferent is the best way to sum up my experience with Tx Medical Diagnostics and Aero Medical. read more

The facility was clean and I Felt comfortable. The staff (I think her name was Jennifer not sure it was lady w pulled calve muscle wearing boot) was very very hospitabl and attentive to my needs and what would make me comfortable. Any time I needed her she came quickly. My sleep study was a good experience however I did have an issue with the paperwork which had nothing to do with the staff at this facility. my doctor ordered a titration test not a basic sleep study. When I got there someone who coded in my information did it incorrectly so I almost got the wrong test until I spoke up and I'm very thankful that the staff member was willing to go pull up my order from the doctor to confirm that in fact I did need a titration test. read more

If I had to dig them, the decor was really old furniture. My first visit for diagnosis was at the Arlington facility. That facility was nice, and the tech was great. My second visit for treatment was at the Fort Worth facility due to ceiling damage in Arlington from a recent storm. The FW facility had a nice lobby area, but the bedrooms & restroom were dirty and rundown. The tech was not very kind, especially when I had difficulty with the masks. The technician was professional and kept me informed of my procedure every step of the way. He closely monitored me and was there to assist me in any way that I needed. The tech was not wearing a mask when I arrived but she was coughing constantly I wore a mask but when she kept coughing around me she saw how alarmed I was and finally put on a mask. She was not very friendly she seemed agitated because I didn't want sit in that black chair with hair all on it she was rude and told me she needed me to sit all the way back which I did with hesitation because it was full of hair but I tried to get through it I was more disappointed at the techs attitude. Would never recommend this facility. My spouse went in for 2 sleep studies and communication has been pathetic. Assurance he'll hear from a doctor as to the results of the first study before a second is scheduled- NEVER happened. A second was automatically scheduled before he heard anything. At that 2nd appointment, he was told by a technician he has mild apnea & they tested equipment on him. According to Mayo Clinic, mild apnea does not automatically call for CPAP type assistance. A physician should meet with the client to discuss possible lifestyle changes & perform an exam to see if there might be physical issues present. Nope- not here! They automatically sent a prescription to their preferred vendor for equipment to be issued. Never seen by a doctor, never had a conversation with a doctor by phone- just bill the insurance company & send equipment that might not be necessary or wanted by the client. We called & cancelled the order for equipment. When I called the office, I was told we could request an appointment with their doctor- not even remotely what they tell you will be the process. Makes me wonder how many orders are sent for patients with mild apnea... read more

I was out there on 09/09/2022. The tech I had was very rude. He was talking about his life, he was cuzing in front of us, it took him for ever to hook me up to everything. By the time he was done with everything I was having a panic attack. It was very,very cold in the room they put me in. When I woke up at 2:00 to go use the bathroom he made me go in the dark down the hall. So when I got back to my room I told him I was going home. He gave me a hard time about that. When he was taking me to the front door he made me walk in the dark would not turn a light on. His name is William. I will not use him again. read more

I was referred to Texas Medical Diagnostic for a home sleep study thru a Teledoc appointment and after several days received and completed the required paper work online and after a week of playing phone tag (who knows how many times I called them) finally spoke with and paid additional money to have the device shipped to my home. I charged up the device and attempted to use it the first night via their poor instructions and it appeared to work, I tried to call them to verify and no one answered (I called many times). I repeated this for 3 more nights each time the history said it "completed"). Called again and again left messages finally spoke with them and they said it was incomplete and had to repeat the sleep study as it was too "short of a recording" I wore it for 7 hours and checked it often to make sure it was recording. I don't think it was checked or reviewed. There was a threatening note that said if you don't complete the study in 3 days you are subject to a $250 fine??? I questioned this and they said it did not apply to me?? If I could rate them 0 for customer service I would. Bye the way I have worn a sleep apnea device for over 10 years and have had multiple sleep studies. read more

Wellness In Sleep PA and Dr. Tate Grimes are crooks. They are billing us for a sleep study that my husband NEVER had. In fact, we were on vacation on the date they say the study was done. They are fraudulently billing us for $600. After the 1st bill in August, we called them and they were supposed to get back with us. We received a 2nd bill today threatening to send us to collections. I have NO idea how this is happening, I called today and a woman named Jenn answered the phone, when I told her our problem she hung up on me because it was 5pm and that is when they close. She knew I would not be able to get back through. I have turned them into the Texas Medical Board and NBCi Responds. The facility was clean, Muhamed, my attendant, was professional and polite! My lackluster rating reflects my sleep quality at the facility only. My head hurt sleeping on nodules attached to wires. Went to the one in SW Fort Worth. Nikki was very warm and welcoming. Very professional. Would definitely recommend to others.

The lady "Tiny" was very helpful and made me feel very comfortable and knowledgeable about the whole situation. The center was very clean and welcoming. The only issue I saw is that its i very dark outside and was hard to locate. The sign had no lights or around the address on the building.
