As I told them, they have earned their 5 stars! They are very, very nice, helpful, and professional. I waited for a little while in their nice office, but I didn't have to wait long. When I saw Dr. Burris, he had actually read my file (information submitted prior to visit)! He also had already looked at the x-Ray I got just prior to the appointment. He examined my knee thoroughly and listened to whatever I had to say. After that, Dr. Burris went through all treatment options with me after telling me that my knee problems were from severe arthritis; because I'm also concerned about costs, we discussed that as well. I chose the cortisone shots in my knee, and received one right away. No follow-up necessary until I need him again. It's rare that I can say this, but it was a very pleasant medical experience. They were on time with my follow-up appointment and did not make me wait a long time. They are very busy, but the surgeon took the time to answer all of my questions. They also immediately emailed my x-rays to me when I requested them. The wi-fi in their office worked really well, and they have a sign with the password. The online patient portal was also easy to use, and they are good about communicating appointments. They also send plenty of text message as reminders of appointments. They are conveniently located right off of 620 behind St. David's Round Rock Medical Center hospital. I recommend OACT if you need an orthopedic specialist.
