My wife's Invisalign treatment was the first red flag; it took four attempts over three months just to get an answer on a delay. My experience was the breaking point. In late October, I was told I needed a re-scan. I followed up diligently--calling twice in November, twice in December, and twice in January. Every single time, I was promised a call back that same day. Every single time, they failed to call. After 90 days of their silence, I was told my Invisalign "window" had expired--a deadline never once mentioned to me. Despite this being a direct result of their own administrative failure and lack of follow-through, Dr. Sanchez refused to honor the commitments his team made to me. He told me that if I wanted to continue, I would have to pay for the entire process all over again. In my 50-year career in customer-facing roles, I have learned one absolute truth: Integrity is everything. When a team gives their word, a leader honors it. Nothing but positive things to say for Dr. Broome and his team at San Antonio Orthopaedic Specialists. I recently had knee surgery and I'm so glad I was referred to Dr. Broome. From the very beginning of setting up the appointment to after surgery and checking in, I am so impressed. At first glance, you can tell how beautiful their new space is and the care they took to make it welcoming. His staff is considerate of your time and took me back fairly quickly. I did not have to wait for more than 5-10 minutes after arriving each time. Dr. Broome takes his time on your first consultation to get to the root of what is bothering you, and why you are looking into having surgery. We discussed the different scenarios of what might happen, as we looked at each MRI image that was taken. His assistant will come in to discuss privately the payment options available, as well as who to call about insurance coverage. His staff also make sure everything is in order, even calling to remind you and go over the game plan the day before surgery. After surgery he made a curtesy call to make sure all was well, and to see if I had any questions or concerns. Overall, I am so impressed with the amount of communication and friendliness of this office. You can really tell Dr. Broome and his staff care about his patients and the overall well being of life after surgery.
