We went as a group of 3 for a birthday celebration on a Friday night. We were told the wait would be around 1.5 hours. At around 1 hour, I got a text telling me to gather my party because we were on-deck. Several other groups were seated, some of them quite large. Almost 10 minutes later, I received another text advising me to gather my party because we were on-deck. I went to the desk to ask if our name had been called. I was told that no, we were on deck. Again, several other groups were seated, and several of them were large groups. About 10 minutes later, they called our name. We were taken to a table next to the main walkway through the restaurant, and as we were seated, the music was cranked up and the wait staff started dancing next to our table. I couldn't hear what was going on over the loud music, but I gathered that someone else was there for a birthday. About 10 minutes later a waitress arrived and took our drink order. She said she would get us "some more" dinner rolls. We didn't have any at our table prior to that. Several minutes later, she came back with our drinks but no rolls. My wife reminded her about the rolls, and she went and got 2 baskets of rolls and then took our food orders. While we waited for our food to arrive, a song that mentions Texas Roadhouse in the lyrics started playing. Whoever controls the volume turned it up so loud that we had to stop our conversation. Then the dancing started again. I don't remember the song they were dancing to except the word "butt-crack" was clearly audible. When the music quieted down, our birthday person mentioned that if they didn't have to stop and dance so often, maybe they could get our food out faster. The wait for our food was about half an hour. I didn't get any photos because we were all pretty hungry at that point. The flavor and quality of the food was quite good, but there were a couple of outliers. For example, our birthday person reported that the buttered corn didn't seem very buttery, and I noticed that the steamed broccoli I ordered wasn't warm enough to melt the butter I put on it. I would rate the food a 4, the service a 4, and the ambiance a 3. Actually, make the ambiance a 2. There were a couple of times we talked about not coming back due to how noisy it was all the time, but especially when they cranked up the music for that one song, and then the dancing. I thought we were going to make it out without more dancing, but that didn't happen. One of the dancers came uncomfortably close to bumping in to me while I was trying to finish eating. My overall score would be a 3.5 if that were an option. A 3 seems too low, but a 4 seems too high. PS: For those of you trying to avoid seed oils, Texas Roadhouse uses soybean oil to cook just about everything. I always ask for my steak to be cooked without oil and only butter. Apparently, the mushrooms and onions they offer with the steaks are already prepared with the oil because since I started ordering that way, I haven't been offered the mushrooms and onions on my steak even though it has been offered to others I'm with who don't specify no oil. read more

We went to eat right around 5 o'clock. We got right in no wait at all. We were seated in kat's section. She was very nice and did not rush us to order, she even when to find out what beers were on special. Our food came out quickly. My salmon was cooked great and not too salty. My husband's steak was cooked to medium rare the way he wanted it. Rattle snake bites were good and not overly greasy. The restaurant is pretty loud but that's the way all Texas roadhouses are. Just a quick review of a chain restaurant! We stopped in after a long day of travel and were extremely surprised at the state of this establishment. When we pulled in, the manager was walking the parking lot, cleaning up trash, and then directing some workers on where to tidy up--something rarely seen anywhere nowadays. We got there during the early dinner special; we are out of state, so our dinner time was way past, making it a welcome deal. We were greeted with hot rolls and quickly shown to a spotless table. Our server was extremely pleasant and prompt; she had great recommendations on food and drinks and kept our waters full. We won't talk about the food; chain restaurants are notorious for their varying quality. The food was good and fresh, but overly salted as is often found in chains. Order the prime rib dinner and apparently the portions come pre cut and packaged because they were out of the 12oz but had plenty of the 16oz... interesting. Places I'm used to going to just cut more or less depending on the order. No doubt the worst prime rib of my life. It had some red rub all over it and the only flavor was SALT. No juices or meat flavor at all. This place is someone's fantasy idea of what a real Texas Roadhouse is but it's not. I really liked the food and service here at this new restaurant. Don't get me wrong, my meal was amazing but the thing that threw my whole 'date night' off tonight was being sat at a table that was in between two other tables. I completely understand that you guys are trying to sit as many people as possible on Valentines Day but I felt very uncomfortable. I am completely shook at our experience here tonigh. It is TUESDAY. There should be no reason at all for us to wait from 7pm-8:10pm for our steaks. And then for them to come out cold!!
