Menu and quality of food is the same here as any other Texas road house I've been to. Only difference was the customer service has been better. Servers are more efficient and professional that just amplifies my visiting experience. I've never dined in here and always did to go orders because the line is always long. Highly recommend avoiding 6-7pm on weekends. If you've never been to a Texas road house, not only are they known for their steaks, but their bread is amazing! Since I was at this venue, customer service has improved but the menu hasn't changed since our last visit. I always recommend call ahead seating which cuts the wait time for a table. The drinks at the bar were just ok but reasonably priced. The manager,Jamie , did come by for a chat. Our server, Erica, like the rest of her team, ran around taking care of her customers as the rest of the team served plates and answered questions. A coordinated effort and well done. I had 25 people at my house. We placed an order in the early afternoon for a 615 pick up time. They called regarding the order at 6:12 to say that they were out of one of the family dish orders that we had ordered. And they're only response was "we tried to call ". I don't think that, even on a busy day, three minutes prior to pick up time is appropriate. The other options were smaller portions, other than the chicken critters, in which we had already had an order for this. The lady was very rude throughout the entire process. She slammed the window in my face multiple times. One time when I asked how long the weight was after changing the order, she said that it would be 45 minutes. I obviously very frustrated attempted to be nice however, she was completely rude, I asked her how long it would be, and she never returned to the window. She became very frustrated when a family member called in regarding the order, due to the concerns with the timing. I proceeded to wait 45 minutes for them to fix my order. I do not feel this is OK. They also charged me for the steak, even though they were out of the original order and once again did not notify us but three minutes prior to order pick up. This is not OK. She also refused to add any extra steaks on, without paying for a whole entrée for each. Absolutely ridiculous. I think that the woman working the window this evening should really work on things. And I hope that the manager is well aware. She also proceeded to say kind things to the other people, like sorry for your weight. But she was coward enough to never returned to the window, even though they messed up. I once again would like to reiterate that we place this order multiple hours prior to pick up, if they still proceeded to wait until three minutes prior to the order to notify us that they were out. St Patrick's day dinner for my wife and I, we were seated ALL the way in the back , only one other table back there with people, a large family with multiple little children. Our server seemed very rushed but pleasent. When our food came out we had not been given silverware and my wife has to go track someone down so we could eat. Food getting cold, kids screaming the entire time. No server came to check on us. Sides missing. Finally get silverware, kids still screaming, food is not hot at all anymore. We finished eating before our server ever came back to check on us. After I explained what we were dealing with, she apologized and then rushed us to pay without ever asking if we wanted to see a manager or any type of compensation. We were a party of 8 and were squished in a booth that fits 6 but extended a small table which is in last picture which ends up right next to the table of other ppl which got smooched by us in a way. We ordered and waited 45 minutes for our food to arrive and unfortunately all that time to wait for our food to arrive cold. The waitress took them back and apologized, but a manager never came like they usually do when something has to get recorded or whatever. We had to wait 30 minutes to get our food, which by now we were ready to leave. They forgot my daughter's corn, which ended up as to go. This was a horrible experience, and it was our first time here, too. I took a bite of the bread and it was cold too. So I sent it back. They sent me back the same exact food. I only know because they rearranged my plate and when I moved my shrimp, I saw the bread that I'd taken a bite of. I sent it back again because it came back cold and told them I just didn't want it. If you have a group larger than 8 people do NOT come here. The front of house was advised we had a group of 16 and that we did not want booths. They said okay and there was a 30 minute wait. 40 minutes later they bring us inside and try to sit us in two booths. We advised that this was not going to work. The front of house said okay, and then just left us all standing in the way. No direction, no "we are working on it". Nothing, just walked off. After 15 minutes of being in the way, a manager was asked for and he advised that their restaurant was not equipped for groups larger than 8-9 people even though their website says otherwise. More than an hour has elapsed at this point. The birthday cake is melting. After another 10 minutes or so they did kind-of put together an L-shaped table for us. Nothing was offered to us for the inconvenience. We arrived at 5:30 pm and left just before 9pm. The server was the only pleasant part of this whole experience. Front of house did not care at all. The manager did not seem overly concerned that we had been standing there and could not answer why the front of house would not advise that they do not pull larger tables together. An aside: I had lunch here a couple of weeks ago and in all that experience took an hour and a half. It seems there is no good time to eat here if you do not have a couple hours to kill. read more

Roadhouse is a hit or miss place. The food can be be fair to very good, the kitchen can be fast or slow, waiters can be fair or great. Consistency is not here. Steaks tend to be over cooked. Yes when you complain they will replace, but no one wants to wait 10 minutes while every one else in your party finishes their meals. If they are busy expect poor overall food/service. It was our first and last visit to Texas Roadhouse. First on entering you have 3-4 people standing at the host/hostess desk just chatting with each other and seeming to be annoyed that they were interrupted by our asking about the wait time and putting our name on the list. We were seated fairly quickly and given our silverware and hot rolls. I was surprised however at the amount of trash and old, spilled food under the table and the floor under the table was decidedly sticky. Obviously, cleanliness is not a big priority here. Our server was Adam and he was very friendly and attentive. He took our drink and appetizer order and gave us some time to review the menu. He did return very quickly with our drink order and our appetizer also came out very quickly. The fried pickles were delicious wish I could say the same for the rest of our meal. We ordered two 8 oz filets with sides of the steamed vegetables (broccoli and carrots) and the roasted corn. One steak was ordered as medium and the other as medium well. When the meals came out the steaks were badly, overcooked, dry and tough. One was barely pink and one definitely not pink at all and slightly burned on the outside. The steamed vegetables were barely cooked at all and so hard you could not even put a fork into them. Our server did bring out an alternative choice of side, green beans, to replace the inedible not- steamed vegetables. For an establishment that basically considers itself a steakhouse the inability to properly cook a steak and a management that really doesn't care is a pretty sorry state. OK! This is a mixed bag for a review, but honestly so were our 2 visits in the last 2 Weeks. 2 totally different experiences. 2 Weeks ago, on our early evening visit @ around 6pm+, there was a 10-min wait. We ordered: * 16oz Ribeye cooked just right to Medium Well, and it was served hot and juicy, * The fried Cactus Onion was on the table and crispy just like we ordered and NO oil dripping off of it. * The bread / rolls were hot, done light brown color and soft. * The guy bussing the tables was doing a seriously detailed job of cleaning up. We had a 5/5++ exp. We even hunted down the Mgr. (young male), to let him know how well it went. NOW JUMP TOWARD 10 DAYS This week we came maybe 5 minutes after the 3pm opening. The hostess was just arriving as we did, and was told there would be a 10-min wait. Once we were seated, the waitress was very friendly, but obviously stretched thin. We placed our Ice Tea Order and she hurried off before we could finish. On her return, we then were able to order the same meal we had on our last visit. The results: * Blooming Onion was on the table in about 5-7 mins and only the coating was crispy, the onion looked and tasted 1/2 cooked. At best a rush job. We picked around it, to get about 1/3 of it to eat. * The bread/rolls were cold and looked overcooked, tasted not freshly made, and were very dark brown. * The 16oz Ribeye Steak ordered Med-Well came out 1/2 Med-Well and 1/2 Med Rare, and about 10+% of one part was not chewable or eatable. Strange texture for a Ribeye cut. Like I said at the beginning, 2 totally different experiences. All told, we spend $55+ with the customary 20% tip included, and came away puzzled how the same restaurant could be so totally different from day to day. read more

When the other 4 came in, they refused to sit them with us. the manager insisted they had to sit separately. It was 2:00pm with not wait. There were 4 empty seats at our table. I love Texas Roadhouse, but this was genuinely one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Went with a party of 5, had a wonderful guy seat us and give us two baskets of rolls. We were quick to eat the rolls. Soon after our server came over and took our order and gave us our drinks. We asked for more rolls whenever he had a chance. I promise you, it took an hour to get our appetizer and salads. Still no rolls. We didn't see him. Some other guy ran our food out to us, not even our server + still no rolls. 20 minutes after he came to tell us the kitchen was hectic and it'll be a while before we get our entrees, and he'd bring us refills of water and more rolls. Brother? He hadn't even brought us a single basket himself... he brought us the waters, but yet again... no rolls. Mind you; we keep seeing hosts/other servers carrying new and fresh rolls....seconds after he said he would bring some out. Finally we asked him again for some rolls and a few minutes later he FINALLY brought some out. We were seated by a table with direct sight of the kitchen. There was food sitting there for the longest time without being ran. Other servers ran their food, but our server was rarely seen back there. 30 minutes later our food finally comes, so a total of 2 hours sat with no food for some of my friends. The whole experience took 3 hours... from waitlist to check. Once again, our server didn't bring the food out, it was a different guy. Now the food: it was lukewarm. My friend was charged for a side she wanted substituted. In one of the rolls there was a piece of tissue in it. Actually nauseating. My friend's burger was overcooked and chewy, and had onions when she politely asked for none whatsoever. Waters were only refilled once, so I gave my excess water to one of my friends who was pretty thirsty since he had finished his one. Our server never swung by to ask how the food was, so we couldn't express it, plus... 2 hours later, you just want to eat and be done. Really disappointed. Never had a chance to mention our issues because we rarely saw our server Camron, and the few times we did, it was for rolls/to order and the check. Dear Texas Roadhouse Corporate Team, I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the unacceptable experience my family and I encountered at the Augusta, GA Texas Roadhouse while celebrating my husband's birthday. From the moment we arrived, the service was unprofessional, unaccommodating, and outright rude. Upon arrival, I approached the hostess stand to join the waitlist for a party of 15. Instead of assisting me, the hostess immediately called a manager, stating that she did not want to deal with large parties. Her lack of communication skills was evident, and she made no effort to explain any policies regarding large groups. After waiting for 10 minutes, the manager on duty finally arrived, only to further escalate the issue rather than resolve it. The manager informed me that our party would need to be split--12 guests at one table and the remaining 3 seated on the other side of the restaurant. When I asked how large parties should handle this situation since reservations are not accepted, she stated that anything over 12 guests is not accommodated. I then inquired if this policy was listed on the website or anywhere in the restaurant, to which she replied, "No, we tell them when they arrive." Her attitude was dismissive, and she showed no willingness to work with us, forcing me to call several of my guests to tell them they could no longer join us. The issues continued as I checked on our wait time. The manager had assured me our table would be ready at 6:30 PM, but when I confirmed this with the hostess, she rudely stated that our table would not be ready for another hour and 30 minutes and that the manager had "lied." Her demeanor was condescending, and she, along with three other employees, stood at the host stand smirking and laughing at our situation. To expedite the process and avoid further mistreatment, I reduced my party size to 8 guests and informed the hostess. She responded with a dismissive attitude, telling me to notify her when everyone arrived. Once all 8 guests were present, I let her know, and she coldly instructed us to wait until we received a text. After 10 more minutes, we were finally seated--but not before standing in the middle of the aisle as our table was still being set up with extra chairs. To make matters worse, the service throughout our meal was painfully slow. Our drinks, salads, and entrées took an excessive amount of time to arrive. A server even mistakenly called my friend's husband by another name, insisting they had gone to high school together, despite it being incorrect. Overall, the entire experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable for a well-known establishment. This was supposed to be a special occasion for my husband, and unfortunately, it was completely ruined. I am not just an everyday guest--I work as a Food & Beverage Director and fully understand the complexities of restaurant operations. Mistakes and challenges happen, but what we experienced went beyond that--it was a complete lack of professionalism, customer service, and basic hospitality. I have never written a letter like this before, but I feel it is necessary for corporate to be aware of the issues within this location. Horrible! They had one air conditioner that worked and therefore they blasted one end of the restaurant down to about 60 degrees when it was 80 degrees outside. People were wearing summer clothing and we were physically uncomfortable. We asked them to turn up the temperature and they said no, they can't or the other guests would be uncomfortable. We waited for over an hour for our food and still had not even received the salad that we ordered. The restaurant is a little set back from the road and I've definitely missed the entrance a few times. it's ok, I sometimes drive in circles. I absolutely love their bread with the cinnamon butter. I also really like their snake snakebite appetizer. Who doesn't love fried cheese with bits of jalapeño? What can I say, I'm a glutton for punishment. We ended up here after Miyabis (granddaughter's first choice for her birthday dinner) said it would be a 90 minute wait. It was a payday so the wait at Texas Roadhouse wasn't much better but we were able to join the online queue on the way over so that helped. The ambiance here is just what you would expect from a "Texas" steak place. Our server, Britt, did a great job looking after our party of 14. We did end up having to sit at three different tables as the people sitting at the only table large enough for our crowd had been there 2 hours plus with no apparent plans to leave. As my 5 yo granddaughter said "how rude!" At our table two of us had steak while the other two had a pulled pork sandwich and a small rib plate. Everyone enjoyed their meals with special raves for the delicious rolls and cinnamon butter. Mom especially loved her ribs. I felt like my rib eye steak was a bit on the thin side and overcooked as it was more medium than medium rare but it was seasoned well. We pre-ordered (and prepaid) take-out dinners, after a long hard day of Christmas shopping, thinking to breeze in and out, but were asked to come into the restaurant. This was a major inconvenience not only because it was a busy Saturday night and the parking lot was PACKED, but it was cold! Once we designated a sacrificial lamb (me), I went inside to retrieve our meals. First off, there was no one at the front desk/Hostess stand. I didn't wait too long but the inside of the restaurant was loud, raucous, disorganized, and filled with diners waiting for tables. When the hostess returned, I found that although we ordered at the same time, our three orders were not done together.
