I'm usually very lenient when it comes to busy restaurants but they actually "Forgot Our Order" and it didn't "Print in Kitchen"??? Certainly disappointing since 3 of us out of 5 are from Texas!! LISTEN TO THIS!!!! Don't make a reservation we were told 30-45 min wait and were 10 minutes behind the rest of our party and got pushed back an hour. Either lock in a time or don't have a all party must be present rule. Continue on, we waited the full hour sat down and ordered 3 appetizers which were good, but not worth the extensive wait. Our waitress was professional other then the fact she came to us maybe twice within an actually full hour and on the second time told us our order had been lost! I get it mistakes happen but this shouldn't be a problem! Upon getting our food we were told we would be compensated for our extensive wait note this has already been 2 hours essentially so we appreciated it Our ticket was still over 140 dollars and a couple meals were still missing shrimp on the steak and shrimp combo. Steaks are not medium rare but way more well on the well done spectrum in my opinion. Im giving 2 stars only because the waitress ended up working out a deal and charging us only for the drinks. We did each tipped the waitress because it wasn't her fault. But this place needs to be better. JUST GO TO LONGHORNS IN GROVETOWN!!! My wife and I were put on the waiting list via their text system, after 10 minutes past the estimated wait time I went inside and they didn't know my party size, but said they would get us at the next table and asked us to wait in the front of the line. After another 5 minutes they sat another couple who came in after us. That was the last straw, I told them we were leaving and they just said "fine". I placed a to-go order tonight on the app at 5:30. The order was supposed to be ready at 6. I got there at 5:50, but they made me wait for it until 6:30. When they finally handed me the food, it was cold, the steak was overcooked, and the order was incomplete. The ribs were terrible. I would go back and complain, but I think they are too incompetent to make it right. When I pay $37.86 for a single meal, I want to enjoy the experience. Next time I will go to Outback. Veronika was an awful server. I am a former server actually at a Texas Roadhouse but different location, and at a busy sports bar so I know what it takes to be a good server. Pretty easy job, take the order, refill drinks, PRE-BUS, and offer to go drinks/boxes. She actually did none of these things, well she did take our order if that's what you'd call what you'd call it. The manager was the only one that pre-bussed our plates and appetizer plates and bread. It was stacked up and she was the only one who brought us refills. Started out with and employee walking through the restaurant with 6" of his underware (they were grey by the way) sticking out the top of his pants (which were belted mid-hamstring). No where in the history of steak houses has any diner stated that "The steak was pretty good but I heed to see an underware clad employee's backside to take it to the next level". The, the waitress didn't bring us any silverware or plates for the dinner rools (we had to ask). We ordered to go because we're not trying to dine in during a rise in the pandemic. We place our order, four entrees, over the phone since you don't have the option to pay upon pick up at the store. We arrived at the time indicated and they tell us it'll be a few minutes. We ended up waiting an extra 12 minutes. Employees aren't wearing masks and the girl who brought our food out didn't have one on either which is a bit frustrating. My wife is pregnant and really wanted rolls but when we got our food they gave us 4 very tiny rolls. They told us it's one per entree. That's amusing. I went back to ask for more and they said we'd have to pay for them. But if I wanted to sit in store and risk covid I could have as many as I wanted. We won't be back to this location or recommend it to other's for our remaining time here in Georgia. read more

The curbside process was pretty good. Unlike some of the other restaurants, they do not have a wireless card reader, so they have to take your card back into the restaurant to swipe. Unless you want to use their pens, have your own handy. Ordered the Portobello Mushroom Chicken with a house salad and sweet potato. The chicken was good. But the sauce had a touch too much of salt. The salad was good, but I poured too much Italian dressing on top. Lesson learned for next time. Another note, check to see if they have brown sugar for the sweet potato. read more

This evening I was joined by two friends and chose the Texas Roadhouse on Washington Rd. in Augusta, GA. we were able to quickly be seated at the bar and greeted pleasantly by the female bartender who promptly served out drinks and took out dinner order. hot fresh bread and out salads arrived quickly and were delicious. Next, came the 50 minute wait for our dinners to arrive. The second bartender, never once made eye contact to see if we wanted refills. The lady who took our order at 45 minutes stepped away from her busy station at the bar to check on our food. Whwn she returned she indicated it would be right out. As usual it was delivered by food runners who dashed off. immediately, we realized that all three meals were completely cold. The stake on one meal was over cooked and the cheese on the baked potatoes wasn't even melted. Minutes later the shift manager checked to see if we were satisfied. We shared our concerns but indicated that we had an event to attend and thanked her for asking. She apologized but made not offer of any type of discount or voucher. Needless to say we were even more concerned when exiting and realized that the food runners were all dashing to the curb of to go customers. With at least 75 people waiting to be seated and a kitchen unable to get customers served promptly it might have been beneficial to suspend To Go and catch up. This will be our last visit and I will not likely use a second gift card I have. read more

Hmmmm - not sure if Covid is to blame but the vibe of the Texas Roadhouse in Augusta just doesn't feel the same. The service was ok - sat at the bar to avoid the wait. The food was pretty good but not as good as in times past. We had the grilled chicken salad and sirloin with sweet potato - pretty middle of the road. They really should just shut this place down due to the management at this point. Routinely for the last TWO YEARS, I have waited over 45 minutes, once up to 1.5 hours over the alotted time for food for pickup. In person the service is only saved by a few good waitresses but that doesn't save the horrible overcooking, and the fact nothing comes out at the same time. read more

We took my daughter to have her bday dinner & it was HORRENDOUSLY awful! The waitress MARIEL was rude. The manager on duty TIM was even more rude. We mentioned it was a bday celebration & was immediately told that they don't do that, yet we heard at least 3 other tables have their bday announced. Getting a refill of any sort wasn't happening. We still didn't have refills by the time we left. She served 2 other tables that came in after us. My daughter asked for bbq dipping sauce after half of the dinners arrived. 20 mins later the server brought honey mustard with an attitude. 2 of the steaks were COLD. My burger was burnt to charcoal & had onions. The disrespect we received from the server prompted us to reach out to the manager who was even worse then asked if we needed TO-GO boxes for the disgusting food we didn't touch. It's absolutely shameful to treat customers like that. We never asked for anything to be removed from the check. Never asked for discount. Simply expected to be treated like humans. To start with we were put on a list told 15 minute wait 65 minutes later we got sat down 33 minutes later we get our order taken . Our food came out and my husband was told they had know rare prime rib only dried out medium . So now my husband has to wait longer like 45 minutes later her got his porterhouse steak . The worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. The service was inexcusable especially given it was a routine Tuesday evening. My table was given to another group even though I was standing in front of the counter for 30 minutes waiting for my name to be called. It took another half hour to be seated and the waiter forgot to put our order in so it was an additional hour before I even saw my food. Given my hunger level a raw chicken would have been a delight yet after eating a smidgen of the blooming onion I wanted to claw my intestines out. I wish Oppenheimer would have built his testing facilities on these grounds so that this pitiful establishment would never have graced Augusta. I've never eaten here before but it was highly recommended to me by a friend of mine. We arrived a little before 7:30pm on a Sunday and were told that the wait time to be seated was an hour and five minutes. We decided to sit at the bar and order dinner there. Jackson, the bartender was fantastic; a true gentlemen, very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. For dinner I ordered the 8oz. Dallas Filet, rare with mashed potatoes and rice. The temperature on my filet was perfect and the seasoning was consistent throughout the entire steak; a solid choice for anyone seeking a no-frills steak. The mashed potatoes came loaded with shredded cheese and bacon bits, the perfect compliment. My second side was rice and it was a little disappointing as the rice was a little on the mushy side and more reminiscent of a rice pilaf, as opposed to just rice. All-in-all, it was a very delicious steak dinner, at an attractive price point and the service was fantastic! I would highly recommend a steak dinner at Texas Roadhouse. read more

It was fine but they aren't good at accommodating groups of more than 6 (even if you call ahead). We were sat at two separate back to back booths. The steak was good. The shrimp was okay. The salads are okay but not great. The sides were okay. I didn't have a negative experience but it seemed a little overpriced to me for what we got. There are also advertisement hanging over the booths which was a little tacky. The servers were pretty attentive though despite it being busy. The rattlesnake bites were good as well (they're like mozzarella sticks but they are balls instead of sticks and they have jalapeños mixed in). Overall it was fine but not amazing. read more

My experience at this restaurant was terrible. I came with very high expectations. They were very stingy with our Blooming Onion. My kids meal tenders were as small as popcorn chicken. I asked the waiter for BIGGER chicken tenders then they proceed to ask if I want to order more chicken tenders on the adult menu. The server looked confused that i wanted bread and never thought to offer it. Is this the only place that doesn't offer bread? "Most people ask for bread?!" We did a curbside pick-up order... first of all, if you try to call to place your order forget it, they left us on hold for like 15 min so we downloaded the app and placed the order. Since it was our first online order, we got a welcome coupon through email and got a free appetizer which was nice. When I got to the parking lot I had to call to tell them I was waiting outside, I recommend them to use the app to let them now who is waiting, but it was fine.
