I stopped by this Texas Roadhouse while visiting my dad to celebrate my birthday. I've eaten at quite a few Texas Roadhouse locations around the country, and this one definitely held its own. The food was good, everything came out as expected, and the restaurant was clean, including the restrooms. The highlight of the evening was our server, Emma. She was friendly, attentive, and always checking to make sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. It was a busy night, but she stayed positive, worked hard, and made us feel well taken care of. You could tell she was putting in a real effort to give everyone great service. Overall, it was a great birthday dinner with my dad, and I'd definitely stop at this location again. Thanks to Eden for helping make the evening enjoyable! Had a minor glitch with appetizer not coming until after our meals. Our Server Kira apologized profusely, she notified the manager who gave us a coupon for a free appetizer, for our next visit. We ate at a Texas Roadhouse in the suburbs recently, the service was terrible, all of our orders were messed up badly, including no cheese on the Mac and cheese for our grandson (just congealed noodle's no butter no cheese) and not even a sorry. My husband and I had an early dinner today. Food was ok until we got to the meat portion. He got a steak I got smothered chicken. They both tasted like the cook dropped the salt shaker on our food. I hate to do it but had to spit some pieces out they were unchewable and wasnt gonna choke after the waitress brought us our food we never seen her again. No refills no how is was your meal then at the end after sitting to leave 15 mins here she came asked if we wanted to go boxes and when we go to pay here there is no way to leave a cash tip you have to give 15% so this is why they have bad service bacause they know they are getting at least 15% so it's a big F@ck you never again. The Roadhouse does "lots" of business so my little review isn't going to (or meant) to discourage folks from visiting. At the same time, I was fairly suprised, or maybe disappointed, with my weekday lunch. We were seated at a booth in the bar area and were approached quickly by the bartender who presented the hot rolls and butter. Good start. My order was a simple Road Kill (medium) with applesauce and corn sides. It arrived in about 11 minutes and, true to its name, looked like a road kill. The dish was obviously thrown on the plate with no regard foŕ the presentation, including a nice smear of BBQ looking sauce on the plate and swimming in grease. I get it, some grease can't be avoided, but a quick swipe to eliminate a good share of the grease (and the mystery BBQ sauce) goes a long way towards good eye appeal. Meanwhile, no visit from the bartender to check on food or drinks but I was able to request a half glass when requesting the check. Check came quickly and is was processed promptly as well. We made our way out of the restaurant and worked our way past the host stand and thre servers who were checking their phone messages. No thank you, come back, have a nice day. Oh well. All in all, a pretty unimpressive visit highlighted by a wait staff that need some supervision. 2 stars for lack of attention to detail and missing supervision. Lots of other options in town...we'll be trying them next week. read more

I had to check out this chain restaurant that is new to Blono (I have never been to a Texas Roadhouse before)! It seems to be a cross between Outback and Logans. It was very busy, as expected for a Friday night. However, we had put ourselves on the waitlist 1.5 hours beforehand, so we didn't have to wait long after we arrived. We received rolls when we were seated and they were warm and delicious. Despite it being busy, we received our food relatively quickly. The food servings are pretty large! The "chicken critters" were good. I also liked the steak fries. The buttered corn was absolutely drenched in butter, not in a good way. I did not like how loud the restaurant was. I could barely hold a conversation with anyone. The best part of the restaurant is the rolls. Otherwise, although the food and service was good, it's nothing special to write home about. read more

Waitress assumed we wanted a different combo then what we asked for. Gave us chicken fingers with a SIDE of ribs after we clearly asked for a ranger ribs meal with NO chicken because we had no idea it even came with it. We ask asked for a ranger chicken critters meal and got charged for a regular meal. We just assumed it was a mess up that they added chicken tenders to my friends brothers meal as 1, I've never seen that before and 2, we didn't ask for it. We only wanted 4 tenders, hence why we did the one chicken meal but ended up taking 4 home that we didn't need. Thanks to the manager for taking off some money but waitresses shouldn't assume what you want, especially if there's a slight allergy to chicken at state! This place is great for beers and sports. Lots of TVs and pretty loud. The people serving are friendly and will keep your drinks full. Great service. The restaurant is clean and busy. The food... i had the catfish. It was very salty and the breading overwhelming. Very little fish and lots of breading. The green beans are horrid. The most awful flavor I have ever experienced. The steak was good but medium is supposed to be pink, there were some very raw parts to this steak. The one item that was very good were the rolls and they were in high demand so you wait for them. I understand this is my opinion and some may disagree. By all means check them out. I don't think I'll return. read more

Boy, sit at the bar and ask for a burger cooked rare and they ignore you when you want a drink. You would think when I say they have done it before, they might ask the kitchen manager?? I took my granddaughter here on July 9 for a late lunch. I ordered the New York strip, medium rare, and baked potato with side of fresh vegetables. She ordered salmon, rice pilaf, and apple sauce. I wish I had taken photos. If you eat with your eyes, I wouldn't have eaten. A piece of brown meat and a brown baked potato on a white plate. But apart from that, my steak was RARE and lukewarm . Her salmon was over cooked and dry. The rice pilaf was MUSHY, lukewarm, and had a strange heat at the end. She only took one bite. She ate most of her salmon. The server never returned to our table to see if everything was satisfactory. When we were getting ready to pay, I showed how rare my steak was. Someone did come look at it and apologize. There were few diners there. It doesn't matter if there's 10 or 100 people in your restaurant. The food needs to be delicious and consistent. That's why people are there eating. Very disappointing. One disturbing issue-the bus person dropped the cleaning rag on the floor then proceeded to pick it up and wipe off the table next to us with the rag straight from the floor. We decided to go grab lunch at Texas Roadhouse in Bloomington, IL while we were out shopping for the Holidays. We chose this spot because the service is somewhat faster and our family of four can always find something that we will enjoy. Food was delicious and arrived quickly however halfway during our lunch the music was turned up so loud it was unbearable. It was left like that for at least 5 minutes or longer. We have a person who suffers from migraines and that just set him off, not to mention that we had a 3yr old who also did not like the extreme loud music. When we questioned the staff, they did not seem to care that we did not enjoy that experience. We also talked to the Manager on duty, and they also did not seem to really care. The response was "We usually do this every hour" So I guess the times that we have been to this restaurant and enjoyed our meal it has been within the hour that they play the music at a normal level? Either way this experience ruined our lunch together and we will not return to Texas Roadhouse again. read more

I've been to this location multiple times, it's always good. I love the sirloin, loaded mashed potatoes, and broccoli. I love the buns with the honey butter I usually eat a couple baskets just myself. The frozen mango margarita is to die for, you have to get the 1800 extra shot for 2 dollars more! read more

We came here at about 9:00, we were greeted kindly by the hostess and sat at our table. Our waitress had a horrible attitude the entire time when we had asked for rolls she looked at our table and said "sure". Each time I've been there we have been seated with our rolls set down at the table as we sat. Not only that, but one of the friends I had been with has been throwing up non stop for 4 hours because she had gotten food poisoning from the herb chicken she had gotten which must not have been cooked all the way. I get it, we came late but the food and service should have been the same as if we came at 3:00. And, it was one of my friends birthdays, we had told the waitress that and we didn't even get him on the saddle or anything. We will not be dining here again, I am extremely disappointed. read more

I came to this place twice within a span of a month for family gathering and both times were a disappointment. Even through you get seated right away, the wait for the food takes a long time and when the food gets to the table, something is always missing or the order is wrong. The wait staff seems careless and not in hurry to do their job right. Overall, the food was alright when you get but not worth dining there. I do not recommend this place. read more

March 9 2024 4pm prior to the Saturday night rush, we were seated, 4 of us, 3 adults and a 5 yr old child. We ordered drinks our server brought rolls, no butter, no silverware/napkins or small plates to rolls on for each person. When he returned to take drink and appetizer order, we asked for butter for the rolls - because that didn't come when the rolls arrived. We ordered our meals. Drinks and butter arrived, shortly after the salads came still no silverware, asked again. Finally silverware!!! Meals arrived, we had 2 side orders that were to be mashed potato's which never ever arrived to the table even though we were given reasons and times of when to expect them. Still failed. We asked for the mashed potato's to be removed from the bill, they said they couldn't because they were just part of the meal not a additional side. This place was full of excuses. Just a outright pathetic effort, but the establishment, overall it's just mashed potato's but when that's what people want. Eventually manager did removed the one of the mashed potato's. But do to the lack of effort and understanding by the server, I did something that I truly hate to do, no tip was left. I'm a cash tipper so it's not working thru the credit card system. Two stars is generous and really only given because our waiter was kind and friendly. My chicken entree was not cooked all the way through and still bright pink inside. I sent it back because it was in edible, waited over 25 additional minutes for a new entree but never received one so asked if it could be removed from the bill as it was after 8pm at this point. Previously we have loved Texas Roadhouse. Today we called in an order and were told it would be two hours before our food was ready. Seriously? If it takes that long, hire appropriate staff! Then, one half hour before we were supposed to pick up our food, they called to say they didn't have ribs! How do you not have ribs! So one order of ribs was in a combo. We selected an option from their combos as a replacement (which they didn't have), but they added it as a full entree but didn't give us the appropriate sides for a full entree! I have dined at this location two times prior to this occasion. I understand that they do not take reservations, that is fine. I had a party of 8 and was told by one of the hosts that they can only take a party of that size once every hour and that she would have to talk to her manager. They then offered a table of 7. After asking for an extra seat, we were told no. I am not understanding how they are unable to give us an extra chair. We would have squeezed together. I have worked in restaurants for over 6 years, and you make it happen for the guest. That host ruined the meal I was going to have with my roommate and her family to celebrate us graduating college with our masters degrees. So annoyed. read more

Because there are no reservations they shuffled us around but ok not a big deal. We want more rolls, never got them. We ordered kid size drinks they were out of lids. Ordered for the younger 3 children applesauce, they were out. I ordered the road kill they were out of mushrooms. Are you seeing a pattern? It makes me sad that this is starting after only a year of being open. You can give me all the same lame excuses, but really the person who orders for the business is the problem. I couldn't find a place to leave a review on the website, but I had a really great time here! Our server, Samantha, was super friendly and made us feel good. She gave recommendations, had friendly conversation, and brightened the mood. (Slay queen). The food was also really good. We were sat in another waitress's section that is always rude and gets everything wrong. I asked the manager to sit us in a different section, that we had requested. There were only about 20 people in the place, so not busy. We were told that both the people we had requested just told the manager not to sit us in their section. Not possible since one wasn't even in the building and the other questioned why we left. Later found out the guy that was supposed to be the manager is only a cook. What a bunch of bullshit!!!! Online reservation was so easy and should be done at every restaurant! Got our drinks and appetizers super fast! We were amazed at this. But when we got our food it all went downhill. All four of us ordered various cuts of steak and cooked Various ways. None of them were right. Medium well fillet came our rare! Everyone else were close but not what we asked for. They did take the fillet back but brought it back as beef jerky it was so over done. Our server was great and very attentive until our food was delivered. The rolls were sweet and tender, salad was average, loaded potato was average. Staff was excellent. 10/01/21 - BELOW AVERAGE Had the 20 oz (bone in) ribeye (medium well). The bone was about 7-8 oz, steak was ~1/2 inch thick, very lean, over cooked, tough, not seasoned. I went in an hour later they told me to wait for the text to come in and that it would be about 25 minutes. I waited 50 minutes for the text, I went inside and they told me my name wasn't on the list and to sit down until they could find my group a table. I was sick and tired of waiting for a table after waiting from 5:45 - 7"45. My group didn't wish to wait any longer so we just went to Logans (Tasty, and Delicious. They get 5 stars).
