I always have a great time when I come to Texas Roadhouse. The bartenders are amazing and really know how to take care of their guests, and they set a great example for all the servers. I've been here several times, and every visit has been a positive experience. The service is consistently friendly, the drinks are great, and the atmosphere always makes me feel welcome. The bartenders are especially impressive. They are attentive, quick, and always make sure everything is just right. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and it makes the whole experience even better. The servers are also wonderful. They are polite, helpful, and work hard to make sure guests are taken care of. Even when it gets busy, they stay upbeat and professional. I've never felt rushed here, and the staff always makes sure I have everything I need. It's clear that they care about their customers and want everyone to have a good time. Overall, Texas Roadhouse is one of my favorite places to go because of the amazing bartenders, great servers, and fun atmosphere. I always leave happy and look forward to coming back. read more

The two big problems were dim lights making it difficult read the menu and loud music making table conversation difficult. The food was good but they don't give you enough butter for the rolls. I was craving an early dinner. I went and took advantage of the early dining menu for 11.99. It was amazing. I ordered the herb crusted chicken with seasoned rice and fresh vegetables. Completely satisfying. I took half of it home. The waitress was absolutely phenomenal. She was very attentive. The food was hot fresh and a nice change from the heaviness of a steak. My family and i come here about 2x a month. Food is not expensive and I honestly come for the rolls. Today was a bit interesting. The wait time wasn't that bad about 25 mins for a table of 5. The waitress was very nice for the most part. Majority of us ordered sweet tea. They were awful with hardly any sugar. No big deal as the waitress got some remade with looks like extra sugar. But an improvement. My dinner , as pictured, was a joke. The rice was hard and cold. The salmon and shrimp skewer looked like it wasn't even done. No seasoning or flavor whatsoever. And it was also cold! I was extremely disappointed and over it. I just ate the fries and was ready to leave. So now the part that really ruined our dinner was the fact that we ordered 2 ranger meals which should include the drinks and not be separated. The waitress said that it's only children 12 and under. I said excuse me because my 2 sons are 12 and 14. And my stepdaughter is 12. No one ever asked their ages. Went to Texas roadhouse in Columbia by mall at 400 columbiana dr .today and boy was that a mistake. We got seated right away but boy service was upside down. My waitress was almost non existing I asked for bread and 20 minutes later still nothing while I see other servers walking by with bread I ask mine what happened to our bread and she said there wasn't any and its being made mind you I see the bread area and see basket of bread going out so waited another ten minutes and went up to get it myself with no issue.. the our meal came and like wtf how is my rice in a damn.. | Treated Like Criminals, Not Customers Tonight at Texas Roadhouse was an absolute joke and not the funny kind. My girlfriend and I, both well over 21 with valid IDs, came in expecting dinner and drinks. What we got instead was suspicion, disrespect, and one of the most embarrassing restaurant experiences of our lives. We were seated and gave our IDs. Mine was scanned right away. They held onto it for 20 minutes before finally scanning my dates id. After another 25 min, out of nowhere, a shift lead (not a manager) came and said they "weren't comfortable serving us alcohol." She also said she was told she should cut it up if it was fake, almost suggesting that I should be grateful she didn't cut my legal ID?! As far as the drinks, no explanation, no logic just a vague excuse that screamed we don't trust you. We asked to speak to the manager. We brought up that we've been here before even when I was underage -- and never had a single issue with my girlfriend ordering alcohol while i was underage, IDs, etc.. His response? "That doesn't change the fact that we wont serve you alcohol." Over and over. Not once did he try to understand the situation or treat us with basic human decency. Instead, he told us, "You can go ahead and leave." Seriously? We were told if we come back we would not be served, good riddance! To make matters worse, we were never even served food! Our server literally avoided us the entire time, refusing eye contact, clearly afraid to approach because of whatever ridiculous internal drama was happening behind the scenes starting with him being suspicious of my ID after I said I just had my birthday... we sat there like ghosts while the staff whispered, gossiped, and stalled (felt like they were trying to make us leave). If you enjoy being treated like a liability instead of a guest, this is the place for you. Otherwise? Run far, far away from this disaster. She began by bringing me water instead of coke. Then brought my steak covered with those gravy onions. Took it to the kitchen, scaped them off and brought back the same steak that the onion juice had seeped into. Awful taste. She never checked to see if the steaks were cooked correctly. She never refilled my drink so halfway through my meal I had nothing. All while chatting with friends in the restaurant. Finally, argued that per the "rules" we were not allowed to have more bread. If they want to penny pinch, why not just bring one roll per person to start with then ask how many more we needed to complete our meal??? She even brought the manager over. There's nothing I hate more than being accused... me and my date were trying to order drinks and the manager (white blonde woman) just happened to be taking our order at that moment. She hadn't asked for our IDS yet but my date showed her his so she automatically asked for mine as well. I turn 22 next month so I don't think it should've taken that long to verify the age but she looked at mine for a while and gave it back and said she'll be back with our drinks. About five minutes later another black manager with braids comes back and makes up a story saying she was asked to get our drink order and needs to see our IDs again and take them to scan (which never happens and didn't make sense). She leaves for about ten to fifteen minutes and comes back with a completely different excuse now saying that she was told to scan it because our IDs somehow "looked fake". I barely wanted the drinks or food anymore as I never received an apology and the original manager proceeded to ignore our table for the rest of our visit. My wife and I attempted to get a Texas Ribeye and was so disappointed with the quality of the meat. it was so fatty, I couldn't eat it. I made the waitress aware of the problem and I was told that is a fatty steak. So after waiting for 20 minutes to get an answer for the manager was told they would credit my steak and the charge me for my potato and drink plus my wife meal. The manager on duty never came to our table and the quest be side us was complaining also about their steaks. Customer service is so bad in this location, I will never visit this location again. I went there the other day with a friend and from the second, we walked in all the hostesses were being very rude to us before we got sat, and then walked us to our table, and one of the hostesses was going very very fast and then we seen these two young kids walk in and anytime those kids would ask any of these workers for anything those workers would continuously say it's not my job. no I don't know if they were all friends because it seemed to have been smiles, but if you're at a place of business getting paid, you should do what the customer asks Mr. Kanski you need to hire new staff that is predicated to making money if you want your business to succeed. The link said that the wait would be 15 minutes upon arrival but soon as I said our party was ready we were seat within less than 5 minutes. From there it was alright. When the food came we were missing sides and our steaks were mixed up. My steak was cooked correctly but was cold and my sisters steak and undercooked and also cold. When the other sides finally came out we were done eating and they were also cold to say that we were waiting on them. One side never came out and we were charged for the topping. At that point we did just said forget because we had already waited for the other sides to come and they were taking to long. Very disappointed say the least. Lastly the restaurant was not dirty but the booth could have been cleaner. When we sat down there were a cup on our table and the condiments were placed all over the table. The seats could have been wiped down because there crumbs also everywhere on the seat. The bathroom was just even worse though. I saw an employee continue to walk out as she walked over trash that she drugged into the restaurant. One stall didn't have any toilet paper it and only one sink had hot water running. The manager needs to read and understand the DOJ ADA laws. I was wrongfully discriminated against. The requirements of my service dog, his training, which enable him to perform his tasks were denied to him. Even after I fully explained! In 15 years, my service dog has NEVER been prevented from accomplishing his task. This was publically embarrassing and demoralizing, and as I was denied the aid of my service dog, I was forced to leave. The manager/owner is NOT in full understanding of the ADA guidelines and extrapolated, erroneously, that his decision was proper. After eating as this very restraunt for YEARS this was a tremendous experience. I'm proud to say, that having since spoken to other veterans, this manager has lost, and may lose more, of his regular customers. read more
