Extremely disappointing experience at Texas Roadhouse. I came here with my wife, and neither of us enjoyed the experience. I ordered a steak and fries medium-well, and what came out was clearly rare/medium -- still red and undercooked. I politely pointed it out, and the server even agreed with me that it wasn't medium-well. Instead of fixing it properly, I had to wait another 20 minutes just to get a replacement, which then came back well done. By that point, the meal was completely ruined. Between the original wait time and the remake, we were sitting there for almost 50 minutes total. The service was poor the entire time. The server wasn't attentive, there were no real check-ins, and no sense of urgency. No manager ever came out to address the issue, and the only "fix" was taking $4 off the bill. No refund, no comped meal, nothing. My wife was just as unhappy with the experience, and what was supposed to be a nice meal out together turned into a long, frustrating wait. This kind of mistake and lack of accountability is unacceptable for a steakhouse. We won't be coming back. read more

This was a steal considering: i decided to take my niece out for dinner on a whim! this was a reasonable meal for 2 with really great service from (i want to say) Hailey. The drink. ordered was made well. The food was taste and reasonably priced. We didn't stay long but everybody was having a good time by the time we hit the door. this location often get huge crows since the other is in like bensalem, so for the things they lacked like clean up and the wait they made up for with really good food & service. Service has been very poor the last few times. They ask how food it when you are pretty much done with the meal. So if a problem exists, it will not be of much help. Don't expect drink refills as no one checks. I had to go hunting for a food container since the server was so missing in action. It is always super crowded and very noisy. Wait staff seems to be able to gather for events multiple times and enjoy chatting with each other instead of checking on tables. Sadly, the latest visit, they could not even prepare the steak the way it was asked. They were overcooking the steaks and no one cared. So, don't expect great food unless you like things overcooked; although, it seems some people have their food undercooked. They clearly state in the menu what each description of cooking a steak means. They just don't follow it themselves. Try Sedona Taphouse or another place instead. read more

For a chain restaurant this is top tetierir in my book. In college my wife worked at a different texas roadhouse but she was impressed how they handle the steaks and things. Love the cinnamon butter and hot and fresh rolls. I always pick out my steak when they have the larger sirloin steaks laid out. The cold plate for the salad is an awesome touch. We don't ever have room for dessert but they do offer some tasty treats! read more

My steaks are usually cooked on point however I do get them rare because I'm afraid I'll bring it home and it won't be cooked medium rare however I really want it. That's happened in the past but generally, I like the steakhouse. I feel like it's better quality meat than other chain restaurants . Our waiter, Jack, was awesome, very pleasant. professional and just down to earth guy. Also, I must give props out to Logan, the manager who stopped by to ask how our visit was For our appetizer, we had the mozzarella sticks , not bad. First time at this location and it did not disappoint! We got the tater skins for an appetizer and they were thin and crispy, so good! We also had the country fried steak with white gravy, which was so flavorful. Our waiter was great and even tried to track us down when we forgot our to-go order. My family and I were visiting Longwood Gardens and wanted a quick bite to eat afterwards. When we were being seated, the hostess attempted to sit us down at a table that had NOT been cleaned. Trash and food debris were all over the table and the floor. Attempting to remain polite, I simply asked to be seated elsewhere. The next table was clean but the floor was still just as filthy as the first. Simply from the looks, they were pretty well staffed so I was very unsure on why the overall cleanliness was poor. A simple sweep and wipe would have solved the problem. We decided to stay because we didn't want to drive anywhere else because it was cold and rainy and just chose to order something quick, hence my Blue Moon draft. I've been wanting to try Texas Roadhouse and there was one close by to my parent's house, so we came in for dinner. We went in without calling ahead and waited about 30 minutes for a table of 4 after we got there at 6pm. We got sat in a booth and dug into their complimentary rolls. I've heard so much about these rolls, and I think they fell slightly flat compared to how hyped up they were for me. They definitely need the cinnamon butter but I wish that the roll itself had more flavor. We started out with their combo appetizer with tater skins, rattlesnake bites, and fried pickles. The best were the rattlesnake bites, which are fried balls of cheese and jalapenos, because they were the most flavorful. The tater skins were okay but definitely had to be dipped in the sour cream. I've had way better fried pickles, these were not crispy enough at all. Their house made ranch is pretty bland and their "spicy" ranch was basically a blackened ranch, which had slightly better flavor than their regular ranch. For the entrees, my mom had asked multiple workers if they had prime rib and they said yes, so we both ordered the 12 oz prime rib. Once we ordered, our server came back to tell us that they had run out of it, so we switched to ordering ribeyes. I got the 12 oz and my mom got the 20 oz bone-in ribeye. We got served our side of caesar salad before our entrees came and it was good bit of greenery after our heavy appetizer. The steaks came with the second side, but the buttered corn was too salty and swimming in oil/water. The steaks were actually cooked a perfect medium rare and seasoned well and there was a good smokiness from the grill. It actually surprised me that each of the steaks came out so well. In terms of value, it is really worth it to get their steaks (12 oz ribeye cooked well for under $20). I was glad I got to check Texas Roadhouse off my bucket list, but I probably won't be back unless there is no other option around. It had been a long time since I had ever eaten at Texas Roadhouse, but one of the kids wanted to go after going with a friend. It was mobbed at peak dinner hour on a Saturday night in the blistering cold, and we were quoted an hour wait for a table of four. The actual wait was less than half of that, however, and our server did a great job. As I remembered, the fresh bread and cinnamon butter were fabulous. The beer list was basic and not anything even remotely exciting. The cactus blossom - their version of the Bloomin Onion - was great as always, and I liked the ballpark style peanuts even though we had to request them. Overall, people were pleased with their orders, although my porterhouse steak was only half prepared right. I ordered it medium rare, and the server confirmed what that meant for them, which I agreed to. Only the smaller segment of the steak, however, was medium rare, with the bigger portion much more like medium well. I steer clear of the vegetable sides, as well as most of their appetizers. That said, Texas Roadhouse's salads make a nice complement to the beef. Texas Roadhouse is my favorite spot when I'm craving a filet and don't want to break the bank. And, all that said, I love the Glen Mills Texas Roadhouse because it's the only one I've ever been to where I can actually hold down a conversation with my dining partner. That's right. The noise level here is bearable. Making this particular TR my favorite of all that I've visited. So I have now had 2 bad experiences out of 3, and the 3rd was only ok. The first time we went for a late night snack for fun, got a bunch of appetizers and drinks, waitress was nice, but ALL of our food came out cold. I called Texas Roadhouse customer service and was told a manager would get back to me. Never heard back. Second time...we waited a line time as you do for this restaurant and that was fine, they finally called my name and I followed them to my table to see dirty cups from the people who previously sat at the table, waiter/waitresses tip still on the table. The girl who walked us to the table put our bread down, pointed to the DIRTY table and took the cups with her as she walked away. I waited to see if she would come back, she did not. I admit my review is a little biased, because I have two babies and you don't just take two babies to any restaraunt. The food here was a 4/5 for us, exactly what we expected and yummy. Only complaint would be the sad corn. Service was excellent. Environment is busy loud and chaotic, which makes me feel not guilty about having my loud chaotic kids there, which can't be said about most places. I love Texas Roadhouse if they can cook my steak right!! I order the 16oz sirloin cooked medium well. How many times does it come oy rare??? I tell them to take it to kitchen and microwave it for a certain amount of time. They always want to put it back on grill or give me a new one. I tell them I came to have dinner "with" my husband. I tell them if they bring my dinner back and he is finished...I don't want it!!! They of course think I am a witch (or another word). They said well you can get a new one and take it home. Seriously why would I go out to dinner, watch my husband eat his dinner and then go home, heat my dinner in microwave and have my husband watch me eat my dinner??? I'd be eating in the kitchen and he would be in front of TV! I told manager this and she offered an appetizer on our "next" visit....not a desert on current visit.
