We sat for dinner tonight and had Craig as our server. It was not crazy busy on a Tuesday night. We always love the quality of food. My husband had the filet mignon and I had the seafood ravioli. Both were amazing. We spilt the chopped salad and could not believe they charged $1.00 for splitting the $14 salad between the two of us. Really? After a $70 steak, you charge a splitting fee? The principle does not sit well with us. The service, unfortunately, was not what I expect. He did get tables all at once, which I understand, but we felt like our table of 'only' two was a burden. I really do not like leaving a restaurant feeling like that. All in all, the food is always amazing from a taste perspective. The bar experience for a couple cocktails is also always great. They really need to work on the service aspect in the restaurant. Customers should never feel like a burden. We do love the ambiance in general and the quality of food has not disappointed.

First Visit to Taste & Sea's High Tea - A Hidden Gem!…read more I recently visited Taste & Sea in Glen Mills for their High Tea experience, and it was absolutely delightful. They have been offering High Tea since January 2026 and currently serve it on Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. I chose the Royal Tea package, which includes a scone, your choice of quiche or soup, four assorted tea sandwiches, assorted petit desserts, and a pot of tea. Since I couldn't decide, I added both the quiche and soup for an additional $5, bringing my total to just $40. The soup and quiche were both delicious, although they were more of an oversized amuse-bouche portion than a full serving. The flavors, however, were outstanding. The tea sandwiches were equally enjoyable. While all four varieties were tasty, my favorites were the cucumber and chicken salad sandwiches. The highlight of the meal was the scone served with crème fraîche and raspberry honey jam. It was absolutely mouthwatering and truly elevated the entire tea experience. The assortment of petit desserts was also wonderful, especially the creamy cheesecake, which was my personal favorite. What made the experience even better was the outstanding service. Lilly and Chrissy did a wonderful job throughout our visit. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed from start to finish. Their hospitality really enhanced the afternoon. I also appreciated that the venue is wheelchair and mobility-friendly, making it accessible and comfortable for guests with mobility concerns. It would be a wonderful venue for birthdays, bridal showers, baby showers, ladies' gatherings, or any special occasion that calls for a memorable afternoon tea experience. Overall, this was a 10 out of 10 experience. The quality, presentation, service, atmosphere, and value were exceptional. As Taste & Sea continues to grow and develop its High Tea service, I'm excited to see what enhancements they introduce in the future. My only concern? Once more people discover this experience, there may be a waiting list! If you're considering trying it, I highly recommend making a reservation. It is a tremendous value and a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. P.S. Before leaving, I took a look at the dinner menu, and several items caught my eye--especially the Toasted Brie and the Chicken Cordon Bleu. Based on my High Tea experience, I'll definitely be returning to give dinner a try.

Everyone - that is, - everyone but the guy paying - enjoyed their meals. My wife and I ordered the Australian Waygu steak and Lobster and included bottle of wine for 2 deal at $199. My wife cooks an excellent steak but I wanted to try Waygu and hearing the hierarchy of Waygu goes: Japan, Australia, USA I was expecting perfection. When it 1st came out it looked too rare. But again, not having Waygu before I just went with it figuring even a fair chef at steakhouse should know the proper temperature to cook this special cut of beef. What a mistake. The 1st piece I "tried" to cut into was like cutting into the bottom of my shoe. Those 1st half dozen bites I had to spit out they were so tough. The 2nd piece of the pre-sliced Waygu was still a very tough slice and very chewy. I asked my son (44) to try it and he took a piece from to other end. He could taste the difference from a ribeye or porterhouse but again, it was tough and not as expected from such a "so called" prized piece of beef. I went back and forth with myself about complaining. But, with the grandkids there, and my son giving his lukewarm evaluation, I just decided to keep my mouth shut. Maybe it was a mistake. But we will just spend our money elsewhere (like The House of William and Merry where we always have a fantastic dining experience) I will add our service was excellent. I think her name was Harrison, or something like this. She, and the staff, served us well.

There was so many good food items we couldn't wait to eat! For appetizer we got the calamari. While we were waiting for our appetizer we got some bread and oil. My husband made a comment about how he wished the bread coming out was warm like other restaurants. The calamari breading was light and well seasoned. Very crispy and came with a green cilantro sauces drizzled on top. I thought it was excellent! I got the veal parm which was HUGE. There was atleast 2 big pieces of veal that was breaded and seasoned well. It came on top of marinara sauce noodles. My husband got the Veal Saltimboca which was veal medallions topped with proscuitto and mozzarella with a Marsala demi glaze sauce. This was also fantastic even though my husband wasnt a fan of the truffle taste. From the service, ambiance and food. This place is great for a catch up and/or special occasion. Would love to come back and try other items on the menu :)

Upon leaving the car w Valet, we walked across the (empty) parking lot to the restaurant, only to have the valet follow us to park in a spot. Upon leaving, we had to walk across the parking lot (in the rain) to get to the valet stand... Only to watch the kid run back towards the restaurant to get the car and drive it to us. After that, the drinks are okay. I ordered a gin sour with egg whites... What I got was ... I'm not sure. Not sour and sweet with a slight pink tone. Food was okay. Okay for not being too expensive. Someone at the table ordered a whole fish and, while the tableside service to de-bone it should be nice, it reached our table looking completely maulled apart and de-skinned (despite us wanting the skin on it). Calamari was good ..the strange green drizzle initially threw me off but was fine in the end. The "white fish" francaise was the best thing on the table. Service was okay. Attentive without being pleasant.

We couldn't limit our picks and started with the Grilled Kennett Square mushrooms, Camembert with carrot caramel foam, and the chilled pea soup with mint. We also ordered the Nashville hot catfish and curry soft shell crab. The caramel foam was delicious and paired perfectly with the cheese and bread. The pea soup was refreshing and harmonized well. The mushrooms were simply delightful. The catfish was cooked extremely well, with the crust (with a corn meal crust?) remaining crunchy and the fish juicy, with the seasonings on point and spicy. The curry soft shelled crab was the winner among many winning choices and was perfect. We couldn't stop raving about it. We enjoyed it so much, we overindulged and ordered the lamb. The meat was exceptionally soft, even for rack of lamb. Unable to resist the dessert menu, we finished with the rhubarb sorbet with basil water and granola. My wife is not a fan of rhubarb or basil, but also loved the dessert and its balance and uniqueness. The service was excellent and attentive, and the restaurant is very cute and cozy. My wife has worked in restaurants for years and we were both thoroughly impressed by the execution and care for all the items we ordered.
