this was the worst experience we have had at Texas Roadhouse- it usually comes out at a C or B but today just about everything was wrong. First the drink I ordered with Sprite Zero, came out flat both times, switched to a different drink and that didn't come out until I was just about finished with my meal. Steak was over cooked and cold! then when she ran our card she charged me for the drinks that were flat. Now I'm sitting here waiting even longer to have her correct. Manager came over to talk with us, she was very apologetic and truly wanted to make our experience right- thank you for that, I respect and appreciate that! Was suggested this place for after the races. Had never tried them before so we gave it a shot. First thing bring an appetite! They give you a bread that is laced with cinnamon butter and then they also bring you cinnamon butter besides. I like a drink I call a merlot spritzer which is basically rose merlot with some kind of fizzy pop like a sprite, sierra mist or the like something just to sweeten it a bit. Also I don't like warm merlot so they brought me ice as I requested. This place is very accommodating as most people don't drink merlot that way. I asked my waitress if the bartender looked at her funny, she said he did. I tried the portabello mushroom chicken which was very good, nice size pieces of portabello and a good sauce, season corn and mashed potatoes that they will do baked potato style if you wish. Tried to eat here tonight. Absolute chaos as soon as you're in the parking lot. There were probably 75 people literally shoulder to shoulder in the check in area with no organization whatsoever as to who gets checked in or seated first. I checked in on the app, got the text and waited in line for 15 minutes to get to the check in counter just to be told to stand in a different line. These "lines" were really just one rabid mob of people herded into a tiny room like cattle. Don't go here unless you want to literally fight for your meal because you will almost certainly have several people try to physically move you out of the way to cut in line. I had the most amazing meal tonight, which reminded me, I didn't review the horrible meal I had last week at Texas Roadhouse. My husband and I both ordered 8 oz sirloins. They were over-cooked and incredibly dry. But that wasn't the worst part. To add insult to injury, they didn't even serve us 8 oz sirloins. They served us 6 oz sirloins. Maybe they can pull the ol' switcheroo like that on people who seldom eat out and don't know how big a steak will be once it's cooked, but that's not us. Have been here 3 times and ordered 10 oz Ribeye medium rare They correctly describe this as: Warm red center Each time I got a pathetic 1/2 inch piece of meat that looked like it was done in a Luke warm pan! I am really diaappointed with the service at this location! My husband and I haven't dined in since pre-pandemic. We were so excited to eat here. We usually order food as take out which hasnt always been great because something is typically missing. We thought this time it will be better. The waitress was friendly when greeting us. I asked about the special for the prime rib, we didnt know that she gave us the wrong price. When I got my sandwich none of the toppings came with it. When I asked about it she apologized and went to get it. It took some time so by the time she came back my steak was so cold. I have to put the toppings on top and the sandwich just didnt taste good. It was very dry and the fries were soggy. When i got the bill I was charged more than what it was supposed to be. When i asked her, she said that she gave me the wrong price. It seems like she knew that it was the wrong price because she wasn't surprised. So i ended up still paying a higher price for a crappy meal. There was no attempt to correct the issue. We went as a group of six on Saturday night. Our wait time was about half an hour, which wasn't bad considering how busy it was. We just grabbed some of the free peanuts and waited patiently. We all ordered drinks, but we also asked for a pitcher or two of water for the table. It was the hottest day of the summer, and we were all very thirsty. Our server, though she was friendly, told us that they don't have pitchers. So we asked for glasses of water along with our drinks. Our table was already very cramped, and the glasses were piling up after some of us asked for another glass of water. She wasn't taking the empty glasses away, even though we stacked them and pushed them to the side of the table for her. We ordered our food, and given how busy the restaurant was, we really didn't wait long at all to be served. Generally that would be pleasing, but our food all came out cold and bland. I had to wonder if, when they have busy nights, the food is just pre-made and sits under a lamp until someone orders it. I had the chicken caesar salad. It was drowning in flavorless dressing, the lettuce was wilted and limp, and the croutons were completely soggy. Definitely not a freshly made salad. My husband had a BBQ bacon burger with fries. He requested a well-done burger, and it was bright pink inside. And cold. There were about 10 fries on his plate. Also cold. My mother-in-law got fried chicken, and they forgot to bring her sides. Others in our group got roasted chicken (cold), shrimp skewers (rubbery and cold), and country fried chicken (...cold). Nobody was happy with their food. First 1/3 was great, but I had a baked potato, and it's skin was so over salted that the rock salt disintegrated into my steak, making it taste like it has swam the Dead Sea before making its way on to my plate. It literally hurt my throat to eat the last few bites. Server finally became attentive and brought the bill over super quick.
